The present situation of nation has shown that we are independent of the colonial but still under slavery. What form of slavery is this it is mental slavery. A form in which you have no will of yourselves except what some cabals decide for you. Uhm, how we will be under this oppression I can’t say, all I would say is one day we will speak as one and our voices are heard by God.
We are 61yrs of independent age but still squirming in bondage. All these problems amount to having the wrong set of people in the post of leadership, those who are selfish, greed, wicked and heart. They travel to other countries and see how organize they are but never for once think of how to get it right.
20-10-2020 was a historic day we will never, forget in time to come, a day we fight for freedom with our own blood. #ENDSARS protest is exactly a year today, lives were wasted and the voice of the angered youth was forcefully silent through a massacre. And no one has been brought into Justice these acts of wickedness by the military in conjunction with the Lagos state government.
SARS (special anti-robbery squad) is an aspect of the Nigeria Police Force that has abused the right of so many citizens. This set of forces are acting lawlessly, committing a series of crimes, invading peoples privacy and killing several youths. They are meant to stop crime, most cybercrime popularly called Yahoo Yahoo. In doing this they become brutal in their approach and massacre innocent.
The youth had to take to the street and make a peaceful protest against the killing by SARS. It was so peaceful and crime-free until 20/10. When our government decided to waste the life of its youth just to stop their voice. By inviting the youths the military to shoot the protesters and causing hoodlums to hijack the protest and forcing it to a stop.
Today marks a year anniversary and solidarity for the fallen hero of the massacres. In order to mark this day Popular comedian Mr Macaroni and Activist singer Falz the bad guy recently led the car procession at the #EndSARSMemorial protest at Lekki tollgate in Lagos. They have turned up in their own up at the procession ground waving Nigerian flags from inside the vehicles and honking the horns while singing solidarity songs. The police force and other paramilitary force where on ground this year just to stop the memorial.
Here are some list of our fallen heroes Emmanuel Egbo, Godgift Ferguson Ekerete, Daniel Adewuyi Tella, Chika Ibeku, Christian Onuigbo, Tina Ezekwe, Modebayo Awosika, Peter Ofurum, Linda Igwetu, Chinedu Ani, Chukwuemeka Mathew Onovo, Johnson Nnaemeka, Steven Agbanyim, Chidi Odinauwa, and many many others… keep resting in the bosom of the almighty. I hope and prayer labour and sacrifice for our darling nation will receive a reward, which NIGERIA will become a better place for our born children.
I hope that Nigeria will become a Nation that moves forward into the future, that the descendants will celebrate this day and that the massacres will end. For a Nigeria free of bad rulers.
