The so many dating online dating sites, so many people have in one way or the other find their love through this social media platforms. While some have learnt the lessons of their life after been scammed, others have been able to find a good partner that would sustain with them. The online dating platform had presented a lot of advantages in relationship and love life. One of the advantage is that it has made it easier for some people to find their love online rather than trying to meet someone in person directly. It is even easier for those who are shy or are not good at socializing to use these online platforms to search for the right person.

The online dating platforms has also changed the way relationships are built and maintained. The way lovers interact with each other had changed through the introduction of these platforms. It had introduced a new way of communication and also a new technique to share images in order to express your feelings and also promote yourself through pictures.

Each and every day the internet is getting new and revealing the best ways on how it can help us in our daily lives. New dating sites, new social media platforms and a new way of doing things. Well that is until we start forgetting about the people who put their all into making it successful, who made it possible for us to do business on a global platform. When was the last time you heard a story about a black person from Nairobi who made it through hard work and business acumen?

Then, there arenโ€™t many, because most of the time when we hear these stories we have the privilege of reading the story, seeing pictures of these individuals but they are not ours. They are not our people. Online dating brings with it many risks. These range from the danger of sending vulnerable information, such as credit card numbers, to online blackmail and phishing, where criminals pretend to be someone they aren't.

But, according to a recent study in which Professor Monica Whitty and her colleagues at the University of Leicester, UK, asked almost 3,000 online daters from 25 countries about their experiences and viewpoints, the chief concern is physical safety. This was particularly true for women, for whom serious physical assault was a very real possibility.

The researchers also found that people are becoming increasingly concerned about the security of personal data when it comes to communicating with someone they have met online. People cited some additional worries: it is uncertain what characteristics a person really has, as they might not be genuine in providing details; people could use the information to stalk or harass; and some sites do not protect personal data well.

Online dating and online security. I'm not condemning online dating, but I am against it. We are now in a world world with zero security

Online security, I wonder how many people understand that? The reason is, you can know about an individual online, who they are, likes and dislikes which makes it easy to take advantage of such individual. Information is vital and key to life...

My advice is to mind the information you pass online about your dealings and acknowledge only the ones that will aid your growth and development.

I tried a few dating sites too just whenever I'm bored but I never experienced going out with the people I'm talking with online. It's too risky I know.

Online dating is good but some people will use it as an advantage to steal money from others.
