Confirmed impersonation? I got this warning a few weeks ago on a member's profile. There was a red exclamation mark next to the username and, on clicking it, this pop up warning came up. The posts were still readable and replyable. The person also made a couple of posts saying he or she is not impersonating anyone. Do any of you know why or how this happens?
@a2j in March 2022
I'm getting these intermittent errors on CoinPayU - a little pop up that says "No content". Not sure if this is affecting earnings or not. Have any of you seen this error if you are a CoinPayU user?
And the rose has fully bloomed. Over the weekend, the rose bud showed signs that it will bloom soon. And today, it opened up in all its glory. It has a pretty shade of pink and a very full pattern in the petals with plenty of layers and twirls. I hope it lasts a few days.
The sun is brighter and rises earlier. The weather is warmer and I'm sweating a little bit more each day. The clouds are 'touch and go' and there is no sign of rain - we probably won't get any respite from the hot summer till July when it may rain a little.
I tried making grilled sandwiches in the oven today. Loaded some chicken ham, cheese, onion, tomatoes, capsicum and olives inside the bread slices. Smeared sauce and mayonnaise and sprinkled some pizza seasoning and chat masala inside. They came out just right - the o amount of crispiness in each bite. My son loved it and my wife gave me a wicked smile. I've maxed out my cooking effort for March 2022!
Another blazing sunrise that vaporises the clouds away! It's barely past 7 am and the difference between the outside and the inside of the house is quite significant. The outside still has a surprising cool air about it, while the inside feels warmer! I have to figure out the physics of this difference.
And one became three this morning! One of the rose buds bloomed fully yesterday, after slowly opening up for a few days. The two other smaller buds seemed to have been inspired this and went into accelerated mode! They blossomed fully this morning. So now I have 3 roses nestled in one corner of my balcony among pipes and walls. Great way to start the day!!
The new coffee I bought came with this interesting attachment on the cover. It's a little tear-away bookmark! Sadly, my reading habit has dwindled down to almost nothing these days. Hopefully, this pack of coffee will re-ignite the passion to read! #coffee #reading

The cloud shape is distinctly different today. They seem more streaky and linear than fluffy. The gaps between them make some interesting designs and tubelight glow of the sunlight reflecting off their bottoms makes for an interesting view. Let's see how the rest of this week tracks. There may be rains in the coastal regions 100 km away - wonder if we'll get some spillover from that!
While my rose blooms once in a few weeks or months, this lovely little Crown Of Thorns plant has a constant set of flowers blooming every day. The flower is tiny and not as noticeable as a fully bloomed rose, but this plant never lets me down. I guess each flowering plant is different and it's amazing that there is such a great variety of them in nature.
I'd posted last week that I struggled to reach level 9 on Cryptohamster before giving up. Today, I struggled but persisted and reached level 10 on Cryptohamster! I even managed to win one game on level 10 before I decided I had to stop for the day and shutdown mu laptop. I'm not a video gamer and so finger and hand coordination is just average.
When shooting a single exposure shot with my phone aimed at the sun, it usually automatically processes it to dim it quite a bit. I tried a panaroma shot by starting away from the sun and the super bright sun appeared as bright it did in real life. It was blinding today! Skies are quite blue and there are only a few streaks of clouds. It's apparently gonna rain 100 km away. Wonder how that will twist the rest of the day.
Coffee brewing - watching the coffee powder drown inside the hot water. This is how it all starts! The bubbles you see is the coffee blooming p3rocess - the fresher the roast. The aroma is addictive and kicks me wide awake.
As my portulaca plants have all slowly withered away after an infestation, I was very happy to see these lovely flowers on the fence of my daughter's preschool building. The plants were put in plastic pots and hung on the wire fence - as usualy the flowers hung off their stems. They looked gorgeous with their fiery mix of orange and red.
This CAPTCHA creator must have been drunk when this CAPTCHA was made. The person just did a faceplant on the keyboard and this is the result! And since only humans can get drunk, and not bots, it is a perfect CAPTCHA. Any insights into this. I googled the random letters and got nothing!
Hit the balcony earlier than usual as we had a 3 hour drive to a beach stay planned for the weekend. This hurried shot shows a few of the night lights and display lights still on. The cloud cover was thicker than I thought it would be. We left at 7 am and it was already hot by the time we hit the highway!
A rocky beach. Our first beach visit today was a walk on the side of this rock beach. It was super hot, but a strong breeze with the waves crashing on the rocks made it a refreshing walk. We ended it with some gelato and coffee on the beach side and got ready for a weekend of fun.
Beach vibes! This beach is aptly called Paradise Beach. It's been 3 years since we came here. It has changed a lot, but there is still the beautiful mix of sand, beach and a touch of trees. I'll tell you what has changed and why I wasn't happy with some of the changes a little later, but for now enjoy this amazing scenery!
Brunched today at a quaint crepes place in the middle of a busy, narrow street. I chose wheat buck crepes with pepperoni and special cheese - perfect mix of pepperoni and tomatoes that made it blissful. And I washed it down with hibiscus soda. I guess splurging once in a while with something exotic is acceptable in the middle of a busy life.
Beach mornings are good. Period. Even though the weather was a bit cloudy and gloomy the sound of the waves and wind were enough to energize and soothe us. The abundance of clouds meant that the blue skies were barely visible on the beachside. It's not cold and the rest of the days will be hot!!
I saw this unique flower for the first time in a garden near the beach. Apparently, it is called Calliandria. I wonder if all those thin, needle like things could be called it's petals. It's beautiful, isn't it!! Have you seen it before?
Have you heard of 'half and half' pizza 🍕? We bought a mammoth 1.5 foot pizza at a cafe for Saturday's dinner. And this wasn't even their biggest! They had 2 sizes that were even larger than this. And we could choose two different topping combos on each half - and you end up with a lovely pizza that looks like this!!
As we walked back from the beach on Saturday, this was the sun setting slowly on the other side. It made for quite a spectacle, especially as there are no high rise buildings to block the view. Enjoyed the 5 minute walk back from the beach.
Goodbye beach: Staying more than 100 km away from the closest beaches has meant that we visit it only a few times a year. After the covid pandemic, we've barely made it to a beach. The weekend close to the beach was refreshing and energising. This is the farewell shot as we left yesterday after a terrific weekend!
After a day's break, it's back to gazing at the hills after a cuppa coffee to see what the weather will be like. It's a bit subdued today. The clouds are thicker than last week and the hill looks to have a dull mix of brown and some green. The light is not bright at 7.30 am. I'm almost tempted to think it will rain! Will it?
And the weekend of fun and food ended with a lovely meal in a seafood restaurant. This was a platter that had bits and pieces of some of their menu - prawns, lobster balls, crab lollipops, fish, calamari and a bit more. Even though we weren't very hungry, we devoured it. It tasted as good as it looked!
While chess is a challenging game by itself, I have been quite impressed with the wide variety of methods using which the chess board and all the chess pieces can be made. The material can be cheap plastic, to wooden and even ivory apparently. Some are magnetic and others are not. I loved this large wooden chess set I saw in a hotel that we stayed in. The pieces were as big as my hand and we're l beautifully, but simply crafted. I wish I could play it well. I've learnt very…
The mimosa flower features quite often on this website. It's easy to see why - the pink color and amazing design makes it super unique. This is also called touch me not and the leaves fold up when it is touched. I've usually seen it at ground level - you can easily trample it when you walk! This pic is from a nice lawn at a place we visited. My son saw it and we were soon playing with it for a while.
Walking on water? This cute little glass bridge spans across a small water body. It's a quaint place to lounge and walk across - almost feels like walking on water. The glass is not clear though, so you can't clearly see the water underneath. But it does give that slightly weird feeling that you will fall in! The kids loved it!
The morning is warm, almost muggy. The cloud cover and light smokiness is making it a little uneasy. Not the best start to a day. I wonder if we will get a short spell of rains before we go into full blown summer for the next few months!
Can you spot the error in this CAPTCHA page? Here we go..... I made a typo in the entry. I wrote feeryman instead of ferryman. I'd already hit verify before I realised the error. It spun for a bit and accepted me as human! I wonder what happens after a wrong entry - even if it is minor like this one. Does your ip address or device ID get blacklisted or do the phrases get more complex?
While the beach visit on the weekend was quite exciting, there were a few saddening observations. The amount of plastic and junk on the beach has increased in the last few years. Its still clean, but definitely not as clean as when we visited in 2019 and a few previous years. The reason seems to be that a nearby commercial beachside fun park has opened with little shack restaurants, loud music and some adventure activities which has resulted in more people visiting and…
Triple sunset? My glasses had a slight covering of ocean spray. As I took them off and pointed them towards the setting sun, suddenly the sun multiplied and I had a triple sunset. Physics is awesome and nature makes it awesomer! #sunset
The two pics were taken minutes apart and are unedited. It shows the sun about the come out from behind the hill and then peeking out. The day is warm and the cloud cover today is thinner. It looks like another hot day after the brief respite due to clouds we had yesterday.
Frisbee on the beach is more fun than you think. The stiff breeze throws the frisbee around unpredictably and both throwing and catching it is challenging. It's a great sport though - plenty of exercise and dexterity needed! And the tension when it rolls towards the waves and you feel that it will get swept away!!
The sunset at the beach gave a chance to play around and try some interesting shots. With the wind, trying to hold the phone steady with one hand and holding the sun with the other was tough. Tried 20 times and never got the perfect shot. This was the closest.
The sun seems to be rising earlier every day as summer continues to march on! It has already jumped out from behind the hill and has made things warm right at the start of the day. We're hitting over 35 degrees Celsius today and there is no hint of rain. And this is just the start of March! May and June are our hottest months.
We visited this quaint little coffee shop on the beachside that also had the most sinful hot chocolate and chocolate snacks. No wonder they had these fun quotations and punchlines on their wall! Read them and have a good laugh. Pour yourself some hot chocolate if you can while you laugh! #chocolate
Fire in the mountain! With the onset of summer, the hills around my city, have these fires lit on them. They are supposed to be controlled fires as a safety precaution to prevent any summer forest fires from spreading by creating zones which can't burn should a fire start. I'm not sure if this is a common practice - the fires look eerie at night! This shot was taken in the evening. I'll take one tonight to show you how it looks late at night.
The phone always automatically adjusts the exposure of the shot when I point it at anything bright like the sun. The sun is super bright and already up. The phone photo makes it look much darker! With the hill forest fires going on, there is a strong stench of smoke in the air and it is also visible as a haze. We're all hearing up for a very hot summer with an early start!!
What do I do when I take picture of a random dead mosquito at the kitchen counter? Should I post it on noise? Now, what can we discuss about it? Should we discuss how pretty those lines and structures are? Should we investigate the cause of death? Should we critique the photography skills? I have no answers, so I'll just post the picture!! Have a great weekend!
The sun has lifted itself completely off the hilltop and looks a bit lonely! No clouds to give it company. There is a little smoke coming from the city that seems to be trying to embrace it, but it is just too high. Summertime!
I usually post the sunrise on the hill on the "Show me your weather" channel. Here is an afternoon shot of the same view. The bluuueeeeee skies are glorious and the soaring temperatures are proof that summer is here!!
Kaleidoscope I bought a little toy kit to make a kaleidoscope. My little daughter and I had fun putting it together. It had the mirrors, tube, some lids to seal it and a colorful array of little bits and pieces to make the designs. The mirrors were a little dull, so the designs produced lacked punch, but it was still pretty enough for my daughter to have a lot of fun.
Sunday is the day I get to stare at a different hill far away from the crowded city. And with summer on the way, the skies look brighter and the hill looks clearer in the miles of fields in the foreground are not very green as they are drying up and, maybe, getting ready for harvesting.
After a week of stuttering with the Jungle TV queues, it's gotten stable again - running non stop for the 13th day. But will 13 be unlucky for it? It kept dropping off every few hours with an empty queue before that. And don't forget the record 42 day queue that happened prior to that from January to February! Let's see if this breaks that record. Jungletv.live
The moment the sun pops up from behind the hill is quite dazzling. The light is very blinding and I can't look at it directly. The camera on my phone, unfortunately, automatically adjusts the exposure to make it look much darker. I tried to compare this with a more manual photograph (there are very few settings on the phone). You can notice the difference. It's gonna be a hot day again. Not a drop of rain in sight anywhere.
Store coffee in the refrigerator? I bought this pre-ground Lavazza coffee for brewing and saw this instruction on it. It suggested that the coffee powder should be stored in the refrigerator! I've always stored it in the coffee bags in room temperature. Do any of you store coffee powder (not instant coffee) in the refrigerator? #coffee
The double rewards bonus week feature on rollercoin was discontinued a few weeks ago. This has been replaced by multicoin bonuses from this week. This week, you get more earnings allotted to 3 of the coins. Its less than double, but you can see if any of these works for you. On most weeks, more people end up mining the bonus coins, which results in only a small increase in earnings per person. Let's see how this new feature works out. #rollercoin
The usual spiders I see around the house are the daddy long legs type of spiders that make cobwebs in all the ceiling nooks. This little spider surprised me by scurrying across the dining room wall. It was tiny, stubby and had interesting shades of black and white. The front had claw like structures that kept moving as it ran up and down the wall. This little fellow kept me entertained for 5 minutes before it got adventurous and jumped onto a biscuit tin. Goodbye spider - i…
I logged into my bitcoin.com wallet and saw this bid pop up notice saying "Something big is coming". Unfortunately, after taking the screenshot, i closed it instead of clicking on it. Now I can't find the notification or link anywhere. What is coming up in Bitcoin?
Managed to get onto the balcony while the sun was still behind the hill. So the orange glow is quite obvious. I took two shots. The first is a wide shot that shows more of the city in the foreground. The second is the usual shot. I like the wide shot, because it adds more perspective and looks a little more wholistic! There is a little chilliness in the air before 6 am that disappears quickly after that.
Photobomber! I'd clicked this picture close to the beach (you can see the sand in the backdrop) a couple of weekends ago. The beauty of the skies, green grass, trees is obvious. And the bird that flew across certainly photobombed the picture, but added another touch from nature to this shot!
I was browsing YouTube shorts to kill some time and was pleasantly surprised to see an ad for Brave Browser. Brave is a competitor for Google that owns YouTube and it's pretty nifty that Brave has chosen to advertise on that. The ad is a short ad and is factual and quite interesting without being filled with gimmicks or noisy. Brave is certainly getting serious about getting more customers!!
Surprisingly, it was warm inside the house at 7 am, but out on the balcony there was a touch of chill which was refreshing. The sun was already throwing out it's rays of heat onto the city and another hot day has started, albeit with a hint of cool in the morning air.
In love with coffee! Is my coffee trying to tell me something? Or is it gonna sing for me as I brew it? "Love song" has some interesting facts about it on the coffee bag! The flavour notes are deeply romantic and the description on the coffee is poetry to the romantic soul. Coffee is definitely more than .... Coffee (Here is what is written on the coffee description) Fall "Hard" in love! Spin on a Love song, light up some candles, cosy up with your partner and fall deeply in…
Boats on Google Recaptcha and hCaptcha. Both Recaptcha and hCaptcha have a grid of nine and ask you to choose a set of items - crossings, trucks, airplanes .... and boats. Boats are interesting on CAPTCHAs. We've mentioned it in this channel before for Recaptcha. You'll notice at least 3 main differences between Recaptcha and hCaptcha. 1. Even though they are bothe 3x3 grids, the Recaptcha images are slightly bigger and easier to recognise. 2. Recaptcha is almost always a…
When an ad preview cuts off the title after a certain amount of letters, the results can be ..... #whattheheck I wonder what is so 'anal' about a watch. It sounds rude, almost obscene. Is it a biological ad or is it someone with a perverted sense of advertising. Turns out it is an analogue watch that got cut short to anal. Got to the bottom of that easily. #wth
The sun exposes everything - including the dirt and dust on my office window. I guess I have to clean it this week. Naughty afternoon sun - making me work harder. Maybe the cleaners tomorrow will do a better job!
While the most dominant feature in this capture seems to be the cellphone tower in the middle, the real beauty is the silhouette of the branches and leaves that is highlighted by the hues of blue, purple and orange as the sun sets below my line of sight. It's still over thirty degrees Celsius. Hope the night cools down a bit more.
Another day when the sun blasts away the chill of the morning as we creep towards 40 degrees Celsius. And it's only March. May will be te hottest month and it is still 2 months away.
Should noise become a brave verified creator? I use Brave browser to browse through Noise and was surprised that noise is not a verified creator on Brave. If it were, it would give the option of donating or tipping Noise with BAT token. I know it's not much of an income source, but this could give an alternate way for the site to earn and then increase the tipping feature on noise. What are your thoughts?
I wonder how many people are looking at the sun at the exact moment I am photographing it. Is the sun ever camera shy? Weird questions in my mind as I start off another summer day with questions in my head - and questions not just related to the sun or the weather. It's hitting 40 degrees Celsius this week again.
I always miss the sunset in the evenings. The sun actually becomes a lovely orange ball in the last hour before it sets, but I'm never outdoor to witness it - I'm usually just returning home, showering and drinking tea indoors when this spectacle happens. Today i managed to catch it just before it disappeared. The photo doesn't look spectacular, but trust me, the sunset in the midst of a concrete jungle was lovely!!
Another warm start to the day and another sunrise that is earlier than usual. The morning seems a little lazy though - less noisy and bustling. Maybe it's just me. I'm working this weekend and it's gonna be busy. And the summer heat is going to make that more tiring.
I was sprinkling some water on the cactus and a drops just clung on to the cactus top. It made an interesting view - the sun in the background and this flat drop of water stuck to the spikes of the cactus. Miss the morning drops of rain that used to make this even better! Shot on Samsung M31s and unedited.
Had a glimpse of some pretty clouds this evening when I was hurrying somewhere. Caught a quick shot of it, but somehow it doesn't look as good in the photo as it did in real life. I'll share it anyway ...
What a surprise this morning! After some blazing sunrises and hot days, we ended up with this thick cloud cover right at the start of the day. This pic was taken at 8 am in the morning. There's not much of a breeze, but it's definitely cooler than the last few days. I'm hoping for some rain. Someone told me it drizzled a bit about 10 km away! Fingers crossed.
Yesterday was cheat day. There was a thick cover of cloud, a touch of coolness through the day and even the smell of rain. But not a drop of rain! Today it is back to the blaze of the sun heating up the city at 7 am - barely any cloud cover as we prepare to soar to 40 degrees Celsius again. I feel cheated! Bad weather!!
The sweet smell of rain. Saturday: hot sunny day with no clouds Sunday: cloudy cool day with not a drop of rain after tempting us with a little smell of rain Monday morning: clear skies and a hot day Monday evening: sudden rush of clouds and a beautiful spell of rain as I was returning home. It's been about 4 months since we last had any rain here and it felt good walking out of the office building into the rain. The first photo is during the rain and the second one is after…
After the rains: The weather is certainly more pleasant this morning after the surprise rains last evening. The clouds have almost gone away and a light covering of fluffy clouds is all that remains. The sun is glowing behind the hills and this has caused some interesting hues across the clouds and skies. The rest of the day is supposed to be hot though - hope the forecasters got it wrong. I'd love another spell of rain!
Have they run out of names for crypto earning sites? I chanced to visit this site when doing some PTCs. "HORRORBITCOIN". #whattheheck Very scary way to earn crypto??!! #wth
ERMAHGERD, CAPCHERS A CAPTCHA like this is bound to make you inquisitive. The word ERMAHGERD is apparently a comical way of saying Oh My God. It has its roots in a meme that was created - here is the story. https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2015/10/ermahgerd-girl-true-story I don't know what the CAPCHERS reference it. It seems to be a very popular phrase for CAPTCHAs and memes with entire subreddits for it. Guess the captcha makers know what viral stuff to use and separate…
The weekly multicoin bonuses continue this week. This is the bonus structure this week. I'm continuing to mine RLT for now. Earnings are slow as I'm not playing much. The 50% bonus on RLT seems good, as the overall people switching to RLT due to the bonus is not too much. Let's see if that will help me boost the speed of earning a little. Are you still playing RollerCoin? #rollercoin #crypto
The clouds are still not blue in the mornings. It's 7.30 and the sun is higher than usual. What was intriguing was that the sun, for some reason, appeared to be very small - it's obvious in the shot where the exposure is reduced. It's about a couple of degrees cooler than I expected, but will be close to 40 degrees Celsius by afternoon. After the brief respite we had, looks like summer is chugging along..
All my table rose plants (portulaca) were slowly destroyed by mealy bugs. Out of the remnants, this little twig has resprouted and it has now started lifting itself up again. Unfortunately, it still doesn't look healthy, but I'm hoping that nature will triumph against the nasty mealybugs. Here is a picture of the plant trying to live against all odds and looking on to the sun for hope!
Bubble play time. Try getting a four year old to stay still while she plays with soap bubbles. She was playing blow and catch - blow the bubbles and then catch them with the blower. I told her to hold still - she tried, but er.... not still enough. Lots of blurred shots and lots of laughter. Some of life's best moments cannot be caught well on camera, eh!
9.30 pm haircut! That's how I ended my day. It was a long overdue haircut and my entire head was starting to look like an unkempt crows nest. There's this little barber shop within 100 metres from the apartment complex and I finally found the time to go there. I breathed a sigh of relief as it was open and I finished my haircut in the still of the night. Very few vehicle noises and everything was eerie on the street. Well, I just found out that a hot shower at 10 pm is…
The smell of smoke is heavy in the air this morning. I hate it. The sun is looking small and distant even though the cloud cover is not much and is thin. Another scorcher of a day - one of about 100 more to follow.....
Finally, a skip and tip war on JungleTV! Felt good to see the banano flow in freely for the half hour or so! I noticed @greatwhitesnark was there too to enjoy it. Banano is the most fun coin to have. Still don't know what to do with it! JungleTV.live
Our church laptop has crashed. We unfortunately could not use it midway through the service last Sunday. Today, I checked it again and it's giving lots of errors. So it looks like the OS is corrupt or something like that - wish I had the tech expertise to figure it out. It's under warranty and I've given it to the store to check. Hope we get it back by Sunday and in good condition. Does anyone know what this error means - happened when I hit the start menu on the windows…
The light above! This is an interesting light that was hanging from the ceiling of a quaint restaurant we went to a few weeks ago. The photo I shot, made it look even more appealing. The pattern on the bulb and the rustic metal shade make an interesting pattern with the light and the dark ceiling.
It hasn't been a great day for my online and computer life. My church computer crashed and has been given for fixing. And when I tried to book tickets, the payment got deducted from my bank account and the site gave an error sndthe ticket was not booked. It's gonna take 24 hours to get an update apparently, according to my bank. Grrrrrr....
Maybe it was a tiring day yesterday, but when I walked out to the balcony, I felt uninspired by the weather and the sunrise. Even my cuppa coffee didn't perk me up as usual. The weather is warm and the sky is murky. There is still the smell of early morning smoke in the air. I'll have to get the ACs checked so that they can work well this summer.
Road rage last night. I had to go out at 10 pm and got stuck in this traffic jam created by a bus coming on the wrong side on a narrow road. While the two wheelers squirmed their way through, my car was stuck. I couldn't reverse as people behind me were shouting at me when I tried to. Finally, the bus conductor thought that he'd blame me for this fiasco and gathered a few people to shout at me. I was amazed at the number of people who joined him. Finally a few people saw…
Another blazing start to the day as the temperature zooms up. There are occasional brief respites with passing clouds, but afternoons outside are burning and nights indoors can be stifling. Apparently summer will start soon. What??!! Isn't it here already?
I don't keep coins and change in my wallet or pockets. They've been put into a little piggy bank that has become a play item for my daughter. I was looking at the coins a few days earlier and realised that some of them were really old - like this 5 rupee coin from 1992. I hope that it's still valid and can be used. Or maybe I'll hold on to it for another 20 years and sell it as antique coins!!
My Crown Of Thorns plant continues to keep flowering even though the sun is blazing and a lot of the plants are drying up. It's the only plant that still has flowers in my narrow balcony. The roses have dropped off and the portulaca are all gone.
Just a lone cloud floating on blue skies on a hot afternoon. I wonder what it's aim is and if it has a destination. Or will it just poof away as the daylight fades in a few hours.
There's more than one way to stack Jenga! This is not the usual way and I thought it would be fun to play it this way. My little daughter was excited too. But alas! The joy lasted only for a few seconds after we stacked it up. One touch and it all crashed down. Anyway..... at least we tried!!
If there is banano involved, you can expect the CAPTCHAs to be unique. (think of JungleTV). Banfaucet had some trouble with the Google recaptcha, with several errors, and it looks like they've got an interesting monkey-themed captcha activated on their website. Simple to solve, but I'm not sure if it will help differentiate between a human, bit and a monkey that well!
It hasn't been a good end to my weekend. I tried to clean the drain hose of the washing machine (to prevent it from clogging) and the seal that screws it shut broke. I couldn't get it to close fully and it ended up leaking a lot of water. I tried reopening and screwing it close, but it didn't work. Ugh! Nobody will come on a Sunday night to repair it. Thankfully, I managed to contact a service personnel and he said he'll come within 24 hours. I'll have to find an alternative…
Another hot pre-summer day has started. I'm resigning myself to calling it pre-summer, because apparently summer has not yet started. I wonder what 40 degree Celsius weather means then!!
The fishes are still alive. We bought two betta fishes 3 months ago and I had promised the children I'd get some more of they survived for 3 months. They've survived! Summer hols start in a few days and I'll take them to the pet shop to get more fish.
I saw this unique flower in a small tree in our residential campus. It's a little yellow flower that blooms in the middle of reddish pink foliage. It looks like a flower in a flower! The colors are so shockingly different and the sizes are so unequal, it looks beautifully unbalanced. Such is nature!!
Is the sun higher every morning or am i getting up later? Maybe a bit of both. Bright and sunny morning with a smoky cover throughout. It's gonna be 40 degrees celsius every day this week.
My brown thumb in action. My 'swiss cheese' plant - with the interesting design that includes holes in the large leaves - is giving up on me. Just another victim of my brown thumb and the blazing sun. We're a killer combo! A lot of the leaves have fallen off and the rest don't look healthy. Wonder if i can save it?
Early morning seems to be a popular time to burn garbage and leaves in my town. It's annoying because all the smoke just adds up. Youcan see this smoke billowing out from the ground a couple of streets away. I wish people resorted to just the usual ways of disposing garbage.
I love adbtc for crypto earnings for its simplicity and reliability. The earnings are mostly through PTCs. There are no surveys or offerwalls. Although this may seem slow, the staggering amount of links and the cost per click is significantly more that sites like CoinPayU, faucetcrypto etc. You can easily earn 100 Satoshi in just a few clicks. While most PTC sites give 1 to 2 Satoshi per click, adbtc gives up to 35 Satoshi a click. Most links are around 5 satoshis and there…
I didn't get up earlier today. I just decided to peep out of our balcony before I made my coffee. The sun was still behind the clouds and I enjoyed an orange hue lighting up the sky and clouds. There was a mild cool breeze and it was refreshing. I wonder when the breeze will disappear as the heat rages on!
This is just for entertainment. A lot of people have been talking about the interaction between Chris Rock and Will Smith at this year's Oscars. The color of water! I have a water purifier that I've used for about 8 years now. It's a reverse osmosis based system. Although it malfunctions on and off, it's had been fairly reliable. One amusing part in the water purifier is the presence of a bluish light at the part that dispenses the water. This makes the water that flows out of the tap look blue - a bit of a gimmick to give an impression of clear blue water!
After a long time, stepped on to a basketball court. It was with my little daughter and her small basketball. She just ran up and down a bit and rolled the ball all over. At 4 years, she can't exactly shoot high enough. My knee injury meant I had to just walk and keep up with her. I loved this photo we shot though - the small bkids basketball looks huge from this angle!! And the floodlights add a magic touch!
It was funny and sunny this morning - rhyming eh?! When I first stepped out, the sun looked tiny but high above the hill. Even in the zoomed in pic, you can see that it looks restrained. After a few minutes (in the last photo), it quickly got bigger and super bright - like something had broken free. Summer is weird!
