Road rage last night. I had to go out at 10 pm and got stuck in this traffic jam created by a bus coming on the wrong side on a narrow road. While the two wheelers squirmed their way through, my car was stuck. I couldn't reverse as people behind me were shouting at me when I tried to. Finally, the bus conductor thought that he'd blame me for this fiasco and gathered a few people to shout at me. I was amazed at the number of people who joined him. Finally a few people saw sense and cleared enough space for me to reverse and the triumphant bus driver and his hooligan friends went on. This is India and its mob mentality - where you get abused even if you are right.

Traffic jams are a national problem in the neighborhood. Last was a three-day public holiday in our country. And on holiday people rushed to the village to visit. There was a 1 day thick jam in Dhaka that day. The car did not move a single meter
