Love fixed our hearts and our broken wings
First time we faltered, the next flight bears the sting
Souls tied and untangled but the mind plucks the string
What agony it is to cover the ears in notes we can't sing
Filling gaps with lies, it's never easy but we tried
All the promises failed us, our valentine flowers has dried
We demanded distance to make it all subside
The blame was not over and the accountabilities are denied
What makes the heart grow a little wiser?
Is it the aftermath when the day gets a bit brighter?
Or the peace of the night that sets us sleep and forget about the anger?
We made ourselves fond of the night, so tomorrow we become strangers.
Hmmm it seems you are an insider in this poem , I felt your pain.
