It's been 4 years, huh? Life's been catching up to me these past years. Lot's of things happened but I'll try to come back to what I love doing the most, writing.

@Iremori

Heathers Heathers and fire They go well together Beauty on the other Ruin on another Heathers look beautiful When it's fresh and colourful But when it withers It becomes fuel to the fire Such is human nature And all their desire At first, it looks beautiful But someday, it'll lead to disaster

@Iremori

Shivers When you left My body shivered The warmth before Slowly got colder I tried to look For something again But it can't cover Or remove the stain Then I found warmth As I sit by the hearth My body's shivers stopped But not the shivers of my heart

@Iremori

Letters You write on the paper One word after another Trying to convey The things you can't say To wipe your slate clean You write about everything To be yourself again You remove unnecessary things Writing a pile of letters About all your emotions Just so you can release them Because no one listens But you keep them hidden And bind them with glue Because it's not for anyone Anyone but you

@Iremori

Whisper Oh, how I wish you're here Honor my wish, dear Whisper in my ear And take away my fear

@Iremori

Ode to the End Inside your bedroom Where darkness looms You see your tomb And ghastly fumes You write your ode For your next abode As your will erode The more bullets you load Alas you find The courage to pull As you unbind The remaining spool You lie on your bed For your final sin Then the world turns red And the lights grow dim

Under the Crimson Skies: Chapter 6 If you'd like to read the first chapter, here's the link: https://read.cash/@Iremori/under-the-crimson-skies-chapter-1-story-8a6c78ab Thanks for reading "I don't wanna go home early today." she said as soon as she sat on the swing. The park was almost empty, except for the occasional passers-by. The lush green leaves on the trees sway as a gentle breeze pass by. The sun was still above the horizon but shadows lit the place making it darker than it's supposed to be. Occasional laughter of students, as they talk on their way home, can be heard from where I stand. We went to the park close to our school. She's pouting as she swings herself ever so slightly. Gripping the chains so she doesn't fall off. "So that's what this is all about." I say, "Why though?" "I had a fight with my mother. Nothing very serious but I'm not going home early. I mean, I'm still going home while it's still bright out but not as early as I'm supposed to." she then swung herself higher than before then she asked, "So, what about you?" "What about me?" I hurriedly answered visibly caught off guard by the question. "I know you're gonna say something. And besides, I saw you earlier." she giggled as she looked at me, "I saw you trying to go to our room earlier but for some reason you go back. It could either be that you forgot something or that you had something to do. So I decided to wait for you." "Oh, is that so?" I felt silly for going through all that trouble and she just needed up waiting for me. "So, what did you want to tell me?" she stopped swinging and she looked at me with the most serious face that she could make. "Well, it's about yesterday, you told me a lot about yourself. I just think that I should do the same" "I'm not asking you though." "I know but it just doesn't feel right for me. It's kind of unfair if I don't tell you something about myself. " "Hmm, well, ok then. I'll listen to your story then. But first, you should sit down." she then pointed at the vacant swing beside her. I followed her and sat down on the swing. Unsure where to start, I started to look for reasons to avoid the discussion. But the moment I turned to look at her, I noticed that she was eager to listen to me. So in the end, I just gave up. "I'm not like this before. I used to be happy, cheerful even. Before those things happened. Betrayals, rejections, deceit, and the like. " I used to see the world in a brighter hue. Before everyone started to hate me. Before they've said all those hurtful words. These may not be as worse than what you've been through but words are always enough to change someone. So, after all that, I started to hate everyone else but I hated myself even more because there must be some reason why they hated me so much. It turns out that there's a lot of things to hate so I tried to changed myself. "I then started having problems with other people. I slowly lost my trust for everyone else. Until the day came that I can't trust anyone anymore. And I eventually lost my friends. So now, I'm here, alone in my own world." "But I'm here, aren't I?" she said. I was surprised by her statement that I quickly looked at her. There, against the twilight, I saw the kindest smile out of all the smiles I've seen. And with that, a warm feeling slowly filled my heart. "But you don't know anything about me." I said in retort. "That's fine, isn't it?" she said as she started swinging again, "Friends don't need to know everything. I'll be your friend." "Why? You don't gain anything from this." She stopped the swing and said, "Because I want to. Isn't that enough?" "Are you sure?" "Of course I am. I won't lie about things like this. I just kind of understand how you feel. If it means a lot to you, I'll be your friend. I already thought of you as my friend though." A smile crept up my face and I can't control it. I can't believe that something as simple as this can make me so happy. I realize that I've been looking down so I looked at her so I can thank her properly. "Thank you for this, I'll probably be more troublesome than others but I'm glad that you want to be my friend. Anyway, I think we should go home. It's getting dark." I stood up from my seat but she didn't move. She's looking at me. "You...smiled." she said, a bit stunned. "Why? What about it?" Her face then brightened and the same playful grin is on her face again, "I made you smile!" she then giggled, stood up, and ran toward the exit, "You're pretty cute when you smile, you should do it more often." she said followed with another giggle. "Oh, stop, I'm never doing it again." I say as I follow behind her. I can hear her laughter from behind. I can see that she's really happy right now. I haven't felt like this in a very long time. When was the last time that I felt happy? Well, it doesn't really matter, I'm happy right now, so I laughed as I caught up to her.

Memento Mori Things that you've said Things that you've worked for Things that you've obtained Things that you've gained Things that you regret They will never matter No matter how high No matter how low Out of the truths and lies Remember that you must die

Non-existence Good day guys! So earlier, I found a great page to use for a found poetry. It was from the light novel of Re:Zero (Yes, the anime haha). So then, I decided to use that page to make a one. So anyway, here it is. Hope you guys liked it. Thanks for reading, as always.

Happenstance, Flash-Fiction Challenge On a day with clear skies, white clouds and the ever radiant sun. That's the day that I met you again. Your long black hair that flow with the wind as you move. Your bright smile that could make anyone forget their problems for a while. Those hazels eyes that shine as light hits them just right. And your sweet voice that's very pleasant to hear. I saw you get out of the car that's parked in front of my shop. You urged your company to quickly follow. The bell chimed as you open the door. You smile as you saw me in the counter. The one to came in after is my friend and its been a long time since we've met. I asked what they'll have and prepared it for them while we talked about the things that happened. I gave them their order and they eat by the counter. She told me that you felt a bit hurt that I wasn't there at the wedding. Then I noticed that you're wearing a ring. I must've left the invitation unopened along with the bills that I have to pay. I congratulated her then asked who the lucky guy was. She then pouted and gave a sigh. But still gave an answer and pointed at the person beside her. I then congratulated them both with smile on my face. We talked some more after that. When they finished eating, they waved and said they'll come back. As they head to the car, I feel my heart sink. I know that my friend is a great guy but I just can't help but feel regret. But regardless, I'll stay here, inside my lonely shop, until the sun sets.

From the Fires of Gehenna All of the damned souls Those who broke the sacred rule All those who are fools They fall to the pit They feel regret as they grit As they're slowly lit They scream through the fire They slowly sink through the mire Of flesh, blood and bile The endless torment From the fires where you've been sent You'll wish you repent The eons you'll spend For the things you broke and bent Just to make amends

@Iremori

Through the Stairs You ascend the stairs One step at a time For each step you make You receive a dime Blinded by greed You skip a few The more you get The faster you flew The higher you get The smaller the foothold You see the warnings But still you ignored You made one misstep And started to fall At last you've awoken From your drunken stupor Your bones broken You've lost what you made You never listened To the things they've said So now you've learned To take it slow Cause the slower you are The farther you go

@Iremori

Phantoms The smile on your face They hide all your pain And your achievements They cover the stain The phantoms of your past That stay behind your back Even with all your friends No one knows you're stuck Behind the bright lights Behind all your fame What stays everyday Is only your pain Because phantoms they stay When the lights fade away So you fight day by day Just for reasons to stay

@Iremori

Good morning! Have a blessed Sunday, everyone!

Poetry Dice Challenge - Blinking Lights There are a lot of things That I want to see That I want to do That I want to be I want to see **Sheeps** grazing on vast plains Lie on the grass And feel the air on my skin I want to cross **Stone bridges that run** **Over clear waters** Under the sun I want to watch A field of **flowers** sway Under a pleasant breeze On a sunny day I want to climb Mountains so steep And marvel on the view As I reach its summit I want to build **Tents** in a meadow And tell stories As the campfire glows I want to travel The scorching deserts Watching the **pyramids** Made by people's efforts I want to sail The vast open seas As the captain of my ship And enjoy the sea breeze I always wanted To see these sights But all I can see Are blinking lights Blinking lights of **planes** As they cruise the night sky Blending with stars As they slowly fly by Blinking lights of cars As they go through the streets Going home from work Or to travel or eat Blinking lights on the **phone** From unread messages That wait there patiently Until someone notices And blinking lights of stars As we bathe in starlight We dance on the rooftop Until close to midnight I can hear faint breaths As you **sleep** on my lap And on times like this I just wish the world stopped My **hand** on your hair Caressing so gently Admiring your face As you're catching some **zzz**'s These thoughts came flowing in Glancing through the window Watching the blinking lights These thoughts slowly followed There are a lot of things That I want to do But I'd always rather Stay here with you

@Iremori

Well, apparently, no one but my friends read my work. That makes me sad. But that's life, I guess.

@Iremori

Count to Ten One You feel your tears run Two There's no one but you Three You try to break free Four You struggle some more Five Try to keep yourself alive Six You fall on leaves and sticks Seven You feel your pain worsen Eight It already too late Nine You know you'll never be fine Ten You died in vain Then you wake up in the cabin And you're tied up again

@Iremori

River of Styx There you go again Sailing against the stream Of endless mistakes And deafening screams You sail your version Of the river of Styx Where words, reason And discarded bodies mix Your broken armor And rusted swords Your broken dreams And unspoken words Your heart became alloy And your skin became steel Your mind so twisted Because of those that you killed The versions of you That you need to kill The weakest ones So you start to heal You sail them again For you have more to throw Into oblivion So no one else knows

@Iremori

Withered Vessels Blinded by light Deaf from the screams Muted by silence Tears fall in streams Withered hearts Broken souls Twisted minds Gaping holes What's their future? No one knows They keep walking With bloody soles All the lies And frustration Eat their brain And emotion There is no redemption From lives you've taken Not even salvation From hearts so broken It's always futile To look for what's gone To save what's left When there's already none @Winona

@Iremori

Iron Walls You build your walls With steel so thick To keep you from others From their lies and tricks With the walls you put Their voices die down And you kept it up Until you hear no sound All that's left is you Alone in the dark You try to make fire But you can't create spark Your situation is dire You slowly lose air You scream for help But no one can hear So you just lie there On the floor waiting For the walls to break down Or your unsightly ending

@Iremori

Misfits Broken down hearts Missing pieces Unfinished arts Incomplete faces Putting wrong pieces Just to fill the hole Cutting down parts Just to feel whole Shoved to places Where they don't belong Walking with others But still feel alone Misfits of society Who're just strung along People's lies and depravity Slowly make them strong Numb to everything With a smile on they're face They feel hate for everything Even for their own ways

@Iremori

Ashes & Cinders They feed you to the fire They burn you to the bone When your situation is dire All you get is scorn They set you ablaze Fill you with pain They laugh as you burn And you try to be sane Your skin turns to ashes Your body become cinders The cinder slowly breaks The ashes become fetters You feel pain As you try to talk And gets worse As you try to walk But you bear them with a smile As you try to be subtle You always keep on walking As your legs start to crumble

@Iremori

I'll tell you guys why I write. I don't just write things because I want to. It's to release all the emotions that I keep bottled up inside. This is just my way of expressing them. So basically, I'm just writing and sharing my guilt, regrets and depression. But there are people who like my work so I'd like to thank you guys for that. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.

@Iremori

Sunset Fevers The sun shines As you wake up Make the bed Dress yourself up Face the morning With a smile on your face Say hi to everyone Just to brighten their days But when the sun sets You start to feel the toll Your body feels sluggish Your smile starts to fall You feel feverish You feel cold You feel tired You start to mold You look for warmth You hide under the covers You close your eyes Stay there till you recover You open your eyes You see the sun again And then it starts All over again

@Iremori

Burning Blight The words they've said They get stuck on your head You start to wish you were dead As you lie on you bed The moment you wake up You feel a sting You tried to cover up The blight on your skin The blight then spreads It burns your skin You hold down your screams And hide them deep within The blight is a constant reminder Of all your struggles The catalyst to your anger And all your failures Your anger for others And for all their words For leading you to failure And taking your laughter Their words led you astray They played with your mind Your courage broke away You left your pride behind The blight gets worse You question your worth Then you start crumbling And lose faith in everything Sadness hidden under smiles Last wills hidden under files Poisons hidden with medicine You tried to keep everything in You then descend the gallows To run from everything that follows You see the welcoming shadows That wait down below Then you stopped Realized it's not worth it But now you're stuck There's no way around it You lost your light You're stuck in the dark You cleansed the blight But it left a mark @Winona

@Iremori

How Much Farther You walk for miles But it's not enough You do it for smiles But you only get a scoff How much farther Do you have to go To gain honor And a face to show Taking detours Only make it worse You lose your path You forget your worth How much farther Do you have to go To make your life fuller And redeem your soul No matter how far They will never know So just hide your scar Don't let it show They only see success Some may not, but I digress Just keep your smile And go along for a while Some day they'll see That you've gone so far And how ashamed they'll be To know who you really are

@Iremori

Embers Roaring fire Doused with water All that's left Are fading embers Clinging to life As they slowly falter But then dies down Like all the others Such is passion And your heart's desire It slowly dies down With those cold onlookers So what's left of doused passion And hearts with no desire? They start to tread The cold and lonely winters

How I Write My Poems Every writer have their own style when they write their work. Each of these may seem very different from one another but they're actually a lot similar than you think. So this time I'll give you a crash course on my own style of writing. The most important step is to ask the most important questions. These questions are simple but they lay qroundwork for your piece. **"How do you want to start and end the poem?"** This is very important as the start will determine the flow of the poem. You can start with a bright intro while slowly going into the dark. How the poem progresses will depend on the starting stanza. The ending is also important since it is where the main point of the poem will be conveyed. **"Who/What will you write it for?"** It can be a person or an object, anything, as long as it has a personal relation to you it something that you're very fond of. Having a memory to tap into while you write is very important. Your emotions will slowly flow through your work and you'll find that the words just come out of your head. This is because you're writing based on your memory. As it is something that have already happened to you, it will be easier to describe than those that are foreign to you. **"What is the emotion that you want to convey?"** In writing poems, emotion is always important. It can be hatred, love, jealousy, etc. You can instill different emotions on your work regardless the topic. For example, let's talk about the sun. The very first idea that come inside your head is that it's bright and cheerful. But when you start to talk about the setting sun, the mood gets different. That's where you instill your emotions. Find the part where you want to focus on and just let your emotions flow. So those are the three important questions. Next we go to the actual writing of the poem. To make it easier to write a poem, **think of an object**, it can be anything, paper clip, bottle opener, stapler, etc. You can use its uses and characteristics to help you state your point. In my works, I always use this so for example, my work which is "Glass" tackles the fragility of the glass. Then afterwards you can use it to relate to the topic that you want to talk about. The next part is a bit difficult for others. So in this part, you just **let your heart write**. As I've said before, you need to tap into a memory for this to work, if you're familiar with your topic, you'll find the words easier to come by. By letting your heart write, you'll find writing the poem easier than before. Lastly, **ask yourself, what do you want to impart to the reader?** It can be a question or a lesson. It can even be emotions that you share with them. This is the very important part in writing a good poem. Having good vocabulary can also make the words easier to come by but these are the most important things to remember, in my opinion. So that's it. I hope you learned something from this. May you be successful in creating your own poems.

Glass When it's whole It's beautiful for the eyes to see Without blemish It's as pure as it can be Some cover it with used **gazettes** To preserve its beauty They put it on their homes and shelves Just because it looks pretty But when it cracks It loses its value So you paint them with colors Just to make it look new Glass is fragile Just like you and me We're pure and innocent But we have our own fragility When we break We put our pieces back again Making **grotesque** art works Just to get back up again We put **garlands** Where they don't belong Just to gain acceptance And so we can tag along But I say You've done enough Just stay here And we can have a laugh As you put your pieces Back from where they belong Leave the cracks and marks As they really are Don't cover up All your scars Those make up Who you are You're beautiful inside I know you were You should keep your facade Just be who you really are
