Home Not House

What do we regard as Home, we should be aware there's a huge difference between a home and a house, a home is not a building where you go to after a long stressful day, where you and your family resides, no it's not that place, that's a house, your house. Whenever we say I want to go home, what we really mean is I want to go to a place of peace, a place where I can rest, a place I'm accepted without having to follow any rules, Home simply put is peace. Its more than just the building and structure, its the acceptance, its the feel at home feeling, its freedom, its peace.

Many have houses but don't have a home, you must have heard someone complain before, using words like " you call this a home, I don't find peace here, its everyday trouble and you call it a home, you must be joking ". Well he isn't wrong. Good for you if your house is your home, when you get in you are truly at home. For some however they find a home elsewhere, they can't dwell in their house, and rather seek solace elsewhere, another place where they can be accepted. That acceptance is very important.

Home is indeed simple, home doesn't require a building, home just need love, it can be as simple as laying your head in the arms of the one you love, and you are at peace, could be as simple as chatting with those friends who are ever ready to stand for you, could also be your work place, where you can explore your mind and work a piece of yourself out to the world without being embarrassed. Home is simply. An orphan doesn't have the opportunity of having a family he or she can create a home with, however some nice people have brought them in and showed them enough love, one that gives the genuine feeling of how a home is.

Don't make the mistake of thinking your house is all you need, as long as you have a house then you have a home, this is wrong. Many big buildings are empty today, no one wants to return there, the fights, the constant quarrel, the bad characters have driven everyone apart from each other. So you might ask, what wrong, but they have a house, why don't they return home, well because it isn't home.

To build a house, you need the contractors, an architect, you need sands, you need cements, you need limestones, irons, e.t.c but to build a home you don't need any of this, funny enough you don't need money, although money assist a lot but its not the main ingredient, all you need for a home is love and care, accepting each other regardless. All of this however is engulfed in one word being love, love creates a home, even the animals of the jungle have homes not houses, the fishes of the sea has no structure to hide, but the family still stick together, so they have a home.

Animals as irrational as you might think them to be have homes, however most humans as superior as we are, way higher in knowledge compared to the animals only have houses the homes are shattered. The painful thing however is not that the home shattered, things won't be rosy every time, fights are inevitable, the painful thing is they being unbothered about it, the hate between bloodlines. Focus more on the home than the house, a successful home can get more houses, but a successful house building doesn't guarantee a home.

Permit me to tell you that our heavenly father God Almighty is another home for us, I'm not talking about after one dies, that home is already secured, I'm talking about while we live on earth, we need to talk to God, while talking to the one who formed and created us, we would surely feel at home, its by far the best home any can hope for, the peace is surmounting, the comfort to talk to a higher authority who is your father and always loving is just great. God is not a beast that we should be scared of praying to. He is a beast to our enemies but a kind father to us. What any father would do, we can kill for our kids someone can tag us a beast, but our kids see love rather than the violence, he goes violent for us and not to us, he is the most loving father, more loving than our earthly parents. With him is the best home.

Get houses, its good we all need an actual place to reside, a room to sleep, a kitchen to Cook, a sitting room to catch the dramas on the TV, a garden to grow crops, fields to play, you know what a house can do, a good house gives comfort, however we must collectively make a good home, everyone living in harmony, walking each other through with discipline, love and corrections, no envy nor hate, just love. A home is where you heart really finds peace, I hope we sustain our homes.
