Yes, it's not allowed, it's highly prohibited from taking over our sanity. We know better than to let it steal the best out of us. Do you know that you operate better on a lighter mood, do you know that you those days you are down are likely to be bad days generally. The influence of our moods on our days are so much of effect. Great minds would always pay attention to how they feel and why they feel the way they feel. So they can adjust and quickly try to feel better. Most times you see them smiling a lot even in the face of pressure, they have learnt how to stay calm and healthy admits the hurdles.
There are few people who has a way into your heart, oh and if they choose they can very well toil with your mood and your sanity in fact. As men, our wives are very learned at this task, they know how to get you over board even without saying a word. Well samw goes to the women too, as their husbands too can often make the full day so unbearable, they can't wait to get home and give him a piece of their minds. Now imagine a lady who has a lot to say as she's very angry but can't express it, maybe cause of distance, or she's being ignored, they could easily slide into depression and that is what we need to keep in check.
Before now, it was said that women are emotional while men are logical, well I guess we are beginning to see that this selection of who's emotional and who is logical is not gender based, as some men are so emotional, and they aren't ashamed to express it, however the society tells them to shut up and bear the pain, yet we still see some burst down to tears and depressed. While we have seen some women handle situations like it doesn't get to them, we call them tough, some might say they are man like, but its just our individualistic personalities. Maybe how and where we grew up added, maybe our past experiences added, maybe we are just naturally emotional or bearing, it's not gender based, its personality.
So keep your day in check, know how to deal with issues so they don't create a burden on you. For example, someone insults you, I could choose to let it slide and just overlook it, but later when I get home, I begin to ponder on what i should have done, i should have given him a piece of my mind, this over thinking can make me dislike that person eventually, so I let personality not to make matter take long, so I don't go home and start thinking. Now when you insult me, I'll most likely tell you not to ever do that again and see what your next response it before knowing how to continue. If I leave you then maybe it didn't get to me so much. Well that's me personally, others might not be the same, it's just my way I ensure I don't go to sleep feeling bad.
No one is above being depressed, it doesn't come in one way only, it comes in differs ways, all that matters is how dare it is to you. For gamers, I'll notice they don't like to lose a game, having them constantly beaten could lead to a bad mood and more extreme depression. Its what they have given their soul into, coming in to defeat them makes it seem like they have been joking all along, well it's bad if this continues as they ought to learn to deal with it and rather use it as a tool to improve. Not just gamers alone, musicians, painters, actors in fact every field, as much as they have given their soul to that course, being defeated could lead to depression, they need to learn to disallow this feeling.
Learning to deal with depression is a plus to the world in general, at least now you know, you could easily teach someone else to deal with theirs also. With the increasing rate of depression owing from the crimes, human rights violations, domestic violence, spouse fights, business downs, physical challenges, money and many other reasons, its no shocker everyone has to learn it. We are not happy forever, maybe you're happy now, but there was a time when you weren't, that should make us know there is someone else somewhere who is not happy too, infant there are people depressed at the moment and needs to be helped.
Depression isn't mere thinking or feeling down, it creates a state of disappointment in oneself, it gets one thinking he or she doesn't matter in life, completely shatters the self esteem and reduce one to nothingness. So wrong right, we know we matter, how can we feel we don't, well that's what we all say when happy, but when things get out of hand, we forget all the good feelings we once had. It takes a lot to remember that we had enjoy goodness and are valuable in this world when things start getting bad, that's why one good therapeutic remedy is to remember the good times and forget the negative. It's a creepy deceiver, do well to keep your mind in check always, well are all priceless, nothing should make us feel otherwise.
Depression is disallowed, when people make you feel bad, deal with it, you are very important, more than your president, more than your pastors, more than money, you're very important to yourself, it's you first before anyone or anything else, so keep your happiness coming, do what makes you happy, be with who gives you joy, and peradventure something got stolen from you that is creating this depression, then try reading up my previous article which talks on the fact that life is for a appointed time and we must take it easy as we ensure we are in right standing and in our right state of mind. Happiness is key guys, and happiness is free. Stay happy and shut the door completely against depression. Depression is Disallowed.
