Colors in the sky . It's always a blessing to be awakened to this beautiful morning. I thank you Lord for letting me see another day and experience its glory. Queen Pepper Let me share with you our house cat Pepper. Today her masters were out of town so she is left alone at home. She kept coming to my room staying above the cabinet to sleep. Full Moon After doing all my tasks after dinner, I already watched the moon. I know it's full moon today. I started watching at 9:17pm but it was cloudy. The moon appeared slightly then after a few minutes it's covered again with dark clouds. I want to share at least more two photos of the sky which I shot earlier while waiting to get a clear shot of the Full Moon. The first photo was taken at 9:21pm . The moon was covered with white clouds but it's moonlight can still be seen. Cranberries I gathered some berries this morning from my lone backyard tree. I picked about 10 cups full, washed it and now I am searching what to do with these. Do you have any suggestions? Morning walk My morning walk brought me to the market nearby. I was able to buy some fresh chicken, ground pork and some vegetables. Preparing lumpiang shanghai. It's time to prepare my lumpiang shanghai or spring rolls. I already mixed the ground meat, Grated carrots, onions, garlic, ground pepper , soy sauce snd salt to taste. Merienda Snacks po tayo mga kaingay. After working on my lumpiang shanghai, there were extra lumpia wrappers so we made banana turon. I cut the saba banana lengthwise, halved it further crosswise. Malunggay Gathered some malunggay or moringa leaves for some soup . Malunggay is a vegetable that is rich in vitamins and very nutritious. It grows abundantly in warm areas. I have a few malunggay trees planted at home so that any time I like to cook malunggay soup , I don't need to go buy at the market. I just have to pick the leaves patiently but it's worth the time I give in preparing.

Cranberry shake This is my dessert for today, cranberry shake with honey. After making the cranberry juice last Monday, I saved some inside the freezer. Garden visitor As I was gathering vegetables this morning , I cut a branch of camote tops and found this garden visitor, a caterpillar 🐛 . Dinner time We're done with dinner. I cooked my malunggay soup tonight only because during lunch my bunso cooked steamed rice. I also fried lumpiang shanghai and tail on shrimps. Food supply My son-in-law ordered meat from their meat shop and my kumpadre delivered it at 6:30am. I was still in my room doing my morning prayers but my doggie Tenshi was so noisy barking so I went out and saw my kumpadre. Thank you so much Pare Nic because we have meat for about a week. Yellow trumpet flower I was scanning my gallery and found these yellow flowers that looks like yellow bells but I know this is not a yellow bell flower. I tried searching the internet for it's name and saw a similar flower called Tecoma stans: yellow elder or yellow trumpet flower. I shot this flower when I went to a resort and I saw a tree full of yellow flowers. I was attracted to this trumpet-like flowers. They are a beauty.

Our lunch is ready. Bunso cooked pork belly adodo, dry and crispy. She boiled the pork adobo cuts in water with salt and pepper until it is soft. Let it drain to dry before deep frying in a pan. I made an instant chicken noodle soup to pair with the crispy pork adobo. I am ready to eat but my companions are still busy. Come let's eat my friends.

Red Jatropha I woke up early this morning that's why I felt sleepy now. I will take a power nap but I'll share first this flower called Jatropha. When I saw this in the mountains it was swaying like dancing in the air due to strong winds. I had to wait for a while to get a good shot. DIY hair coloring I requested my daughter to cook for our dinner because I am beautifying myself. I am coloring my hair because there's a lot of gray hair already. It's a DIY hair dyeing activity. I just bought a dye pack from the drugstore and used it. I have been doing this in the past to save on parlor expenses. It's a big savings if I do it myself. Amazing morning! I checked our backyard plants if it's watered and when I looked up I saw the half moon smiling at me. Pretty amazing at 8:01 am the moon is still up in the sky. Success I'm done applying for my National ID. That's so fast. We arrived here @9:30am. We had to go around the mall because the entrance is on the opposite side. That was a good exercise. When we arrived at the gate we were given a white paper and a thin paper with number. The process was so fast and efficient. Need to wait for 2-3 months for the ID. They gave a paper for claiming.

At last we are having our lunch. I ordered at Seoul Bibimbop double beef meat and enjoyed my Senior Citizen discount so I paid a lot cheaper for a big lunch. Sometimes we become so complacent that we become unaware that we had put our guards down. In this time of pandemic, let's be conscious of our environment especially when we are outside our homes. That small island is BLUEWATER SUMILON ISLAND RESORT located at Sumilon Island, Oslob, Cebu. That's a photo taken while we were at the boat going to the island. At Sumilon Island Sandbar. We have the sandbar to ourselves. It's like we own an island. What a blessing to reach this peaceful and magical island. We'll be staying for a night to enjoy the beauty of the island. It's my first time to visit this beautiful island for a staycation. Thanks to my bunso and friends to let me join. Sunset at Sumilon island. Watching the sunset on this lovely island sandbar is like a dream. While I was sitting on the very fine white sands, I thank our Lord for giving me the opportunity to be here safely with these smart and beautiful ladies.
