Oppo Band B1 smartwatch: Review
Last Monday, March 7, 2022, the smartwatch that I've been waiting for came. Actually, my partner is the one who checked out this item from Shopee and I just told him that I will pay him 3 gives, but actually, I was able to complete the payment for only 4 days. It's because I don't like borrowing money from someone else even he's my partner. It's just that, my mindset is: don't borrow money that you can't afford to pay. He said that it was fine, I can pay him anytime but I insisted because I don't like stressing myself for that and since I still have some dollars in my PHP wallet in coins.ph, I used it right away to complete the money I borrowed from him. Going back, the smartwatch was delivered Monday morning to his house and since he is the one who is techier, I gave him permission to open my package and review the product if it has damage. Thankfully, there's none. So he said that we can meet up in my place once he logout from his work.
Before the clock went 7 pm, we are able to meet at the meet-up place. I just get the smartwatch and proceeded home. When I arrived at our house, I took some time before the smartwatch paired in my phone. In the first five minutes, I got worried because my Vivo phone cannot see the smartwatch device. I tried restarting my phone, charged the smartwatch for 1 hour, and after I read the manual over and over, thank God, my devices got paired. So first, I tried to walk and count my steps to see if the smartwatch really shows accuracy, it good thing it is. The sleep monitoring is also accurate as well as the BPM, and the weather forecast. I was also amazed with the tools that include: music, timer, stopwatch, alarm, camera and find my phone. SMARTWATCH TOOLS In camera, I can now use it freely even I am away on my phone. With the alarm, It will really vibrate in my wrist and you can choose how many seconds it will vibrate. In terms of the 'find my phone' tool, if you cannot see your phone at your house, you can press this button and your phone will make an alarm even that is on silent mode. I think that the only cons of this are that, the smartwatch needs to stay near on the phone so it will really sync on time. FITNESS In terms of fitness, you really need first to install an app called, Heytapp Health where you can be able to monitor your day-to-day improvement. So here, you can see your workouts, steps, calories and the number of activities you do. You can also see here the heart rate, sleep hours, SP02, and your workout records.
SYNC PHONE NOTIFICATIONS This one is really great. I thought that the only notification that you can see in the smartwatch is the messages in the messenger or SMS but what's good is you can actually choose what notifications you want to sync in the smartwatch. So here, I just turned on the Abra wallet and coins.ph because I like to see it vibrating in real-time. WATCH FACES It's really nice and there are lots of designs to choose from. There are art designs, Sporty designs (where you can see in the interface your kcal, bpm, or steps) and if you want to be a classic or simple watch, they have also great designs for it.
HOW ABOUT THE BATTERY? As I am writing this article, it is still 45%. Meaning, this smartwatch battery can last up to 3-4 days only. According to what I have researched, charging can be applicable if the battery turns to 20% and the charging time is 1 hour up to 2 and half hours. Not bad for 4 days of using.
FINAL THOUGHTS I can say that it was a good budol for me. Actually, it costs 1,399 Pesos only and is not bad for its price. If you look for the other smartwatch in Shopee, there are lots of cheap products there but take a look at the bad reviews guys. So for me, Oppo Band B1 is very much worthy compared to the other products that are not really known in the market. Again, I like it. 100000/10 rate. But everything has cons right? I guess that the only thing that I find a bit off is the accessories like the band itself that are so pricey in the market. I think the bands cost $3 or more while the Mi Band watches cost so much cheaper. And also, It's very hard to find screen protector for this one. But all in all, it is still a great product. Recommend ed for those who want to get fit and sporty people. ☺️👍

it can show incoming calls but hindi ko pa na try ate if pwede syang pindutin to accept the call. Pero yes kapag may tumatawag, it will vibrate. nakita ko lang sa manual

Sobrang helpful talaga ng mga wearables ngayon like smartwatch. Easy to detect ng blood pressure, walk, and everything. I have one pero minsan ko lang gamitin since di naman ako pala exercise haha.
