Reinvent Computing with a Penguin!
Computer usage is indispensable in the current time.
Surviving in this modern world without using a computer is almost impossible.
Maybe, some of you would say that you would use a smartphone.
But, a smartphone is also a computational device.
Accessing the Internet is very much possible with a smartphone.
But, most smartphones run on proprietary operating systems.
You can choose the operating system of your desktop and laptop computers.
What is your operating system?
If I ask about what operating system (OS) do you use on your computers?
Most of you answer, "The OS I get with the computer at the time of purchase."
Few may also answer, "I use a GNU/Linux OS."
You may now ask me, "What is a GNU/Linux OS."
A GNU/Linux OS is open source and is absolutely free for personal use.
Penguin is the logo of the Linux kernel. That is why I have written the title as:
"Reinvent Computing with a Penguin."
Why you should try a GNU/Linux operating system for your computer.
When you buy a computer, desktop, or laptop, there is little choice in which OS you want to take for your computer. The computer vendors take it for granted that the buyers would accept whatever OS they provide as preinstalled one.
As a buyer, you should have the right to select the OS. But, the vendors give you a proprietary OS preinstalled, and for which they also add a price!
GNU/Linux OS is free for personal use.
You get a huge applications software with a GNU/Linux OS.
The virus and malware problem is practically zero on GNU/Linux.
Moreover, the entire source codes of GNU/Linux OSs are available.
You can, therefore, customize a GNU/Linux as per your needs. You can modify the source codes, re-execute them, and get your own custom GNU/Linux OS.
Would you get these flexibilities with a proprietary OS, such as MS Windows?

Conclusion
Reinvent your computing with a GNU/Linux OS.
You will get a huge applications software.
You will not get any problems with viruses and malware.
You don't require to buy any antivirus software.
Your computer will be secure and run faster.
Postscript
Since 1999, I have been using GNU/Linux, free and open source software.
My default operating system is Debian GNU/Linux.
I never use proprietary software unless I need to create a solution for a client.
Current Microsoft CEO said in a media presentation, "Microsoft Love Linux."
By the way, Microsoft uses Linux for Azure Cloud, their top revenue-earning business. More than 60 percent of Microsoft Azure Cloud clients prefer Linux over Windows!
If Microsoft can adopt Linux for increasing business profit, why can't you try GNU/Linux on your personal computers?
