Break-Up Can be a Great Relief Are you afraid of a break-up? General experience says break-up is painful. Some top writers may think likewise and preach against break-up. People write how much pain they received after a break-up. These are all conventional wisdom. When you say about "break-ups," you have to consider the particular case. "Break-ups are painful" is a conventional experience. You shouldn't generalize all "break-up" stories. It would be best to pinpoint what "break-up" you are talking about. Break-up from a friendship, love affair, live-in relationship, marriage, partnership, business collaboration, etc., may have a different perspective entirely. What is the meaning of a "break-up" and "breaking up?" As per the English dictionary, "break-up" is the noun form of the verb "break up." In most situations, a couple breaking up may always remain with a little bit of mental scar. But, I say it is not always true. Sometimes, breaking up is the only solution. For example, the break up of a toxic marriage is a great relief to the suffering partners. I will give an example from a real-world experience of a "failed" love marriage. My closest friends were having deep trouble in their marital life. They were not happy due to strong differences in life matters. It was big suffering for both the couple and their extended family members. The bloody marriage counselor they went for advice charged them huge fees and gave the advice to try saving the relationship! They wasted another five years of suffering. If I were their marriage counselor, I would have advised them to get a divorce. Finally, my friends, i.e., the couple decided to break the toxic marriage. They went for a divorce. Now, both of them are living peaceful and happy life. Both of them have remarried and are now good friends!

One has to analyze the state and health of a relationship and take decisions accordingly. If the relationship is toxic due to significant differences in most life matters, it is better to bid a goodbye to it and get separated. Be it a love affair, live-in relationship, marriage, business partnership, or a close acquaintance, never continue if there are big differences between the partners. Break-ups are a solution to toxic relationships. Then, break-ups can be a great relief.

If you don't go quite along with someone, it is better to resolve the differences. If you don't come out with a solution and the differences continue to increase day by day, you may have to break up the relationship. It is my thinking. But, I am not always spirited and courageous to do likewise. ***What are your preferences towards breaking up?*** Who I am

In most cases break up gives new opportunities to live and adopt the things. Instead of continuing bleeding heart better to go for break up which will be painful at the moment but in long term it will Hale everything.
Thanks for your resonating and insightful comment.
Breaking up is a big relief, especially if you are in a toxic situation already. Based on my experience, I tried to keep our relationship because I thought that's how love is but I'm wrong. If you are not valued by your partner, please step away because for sure that relationship won't work.
I appreciate your time and sharing of a personal relationship experience. In most cases, break-ups are the only solution to toxic partnerships.
Some who are engaged in toxic relationships, they will definitely be relieved, if each partners break-up
Divorce is better than a toxic relationship.
I have very bad experience regarding the break up there is no doubt some how break up is a great source of relief. I agree with your point of view because I experienced it in my life
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Letting go of something that makes you feel uncomfortable and affects your emotional and mental health is a better move.
Yes, getting rid of disturbing emotions is essential by any means.
Yes friend unity that break up is contained in the same as a relationship that says break up.
I may not say I have understood your comment!
Though breakup sometimes breaks your heart but it can be solution of getting relief of unwanted relationships. But never that is a good choice to break up with the person who loves you more than anything.
Break up only in case of a toxic relationship.
Indeed, breakups can be a relief or solution most especially if the relationship is not healthy anymore. But let's not normalize that one, just break up and break up and break up everytime a relationship becomes toxic or unhealthy, sometimes you have to make sure of the person that you are going to have a relationship first. Let's not rush when it comes to love, because the right one will always find you.
There is no scope for generalization. One must analyze the case to case and decide appropriately.
I have been traumatized because of the breakup and at the same time, it's a relief that we ended up very early because not, I would be this happy. I wouldn't be able to meet the person who's making me happy right now.
I am glad to know that you got rid of a toxic relationship.
I had to save myself before I got it all wasted, all because of loving the wrong person.
Bad relationships teach and make us stronger than ever.
Not gonna lie that's true 😁
Breakup can be indeed very painful but depending on the situation, in case where you are taken for granted, don't even think of depression, I remember my ex boyfriend that ask my bestfriend out...oh what an experience
