Off the road

Sometimes in life we are off the road and out of our way. Sometimes because of some reasons and sometimes that's where life puts us. We just need to appreciate the journey and learn a lesson or two.

Flexing my wonderful sponsors. Super grateful to have you all. Inspite and despite of my on and off writing journey. God bless you always. Stay safe.

It was January 31st that I rode back to South to go to work because my work from home set up just ended. And I will be working in the office for the whole month of February and maybe the rest of the months to come. It was a nostalgic journey as I bring with me my huge bag. I have to bring a lot of things with me since I will be moving to my new found boarding house since as I have shared to you my old boarding house was destroyed by typhoon Odette. So, that time I have lots of things needed to be with me. That's why I use my old partner in crime.

It's my second time to use this for a travel that is not out of the province and I am hesitant to use it cause people might think where I am going or where I came from. Nonetheless, I choose to use her because I want to not burden myself of all stuff to carry. It's safe and it's very easy for me if I will take her with me. She could carry pretty much everything I needed from beddings to cooking stuff aside from my clothes. See? 😁

So, to continue the journey. I waited for the bus. Though I am not really sure if it would be present today but still I manage to wait with hopeful heart and strong faith. Well, I could go back to our house if there's none coming. But it was not long when finally the wait is over cause the bus arrived. I hop in and continue the journey.

In the middle of the journey I was quite confused when the bus take another route and was off the road. The bus didn't take the bridge but drove off to the river. Slowly but surely. A side from the confusion I was worried too. Watching the bridge from the distance I conclude it wasn't allowed for a heavy loaded vehicle to cross there. Since I have seen some vehicle, wing vans and the like, taking the same route as ours. I could see the river was already taken by many tires. And I could sense that the bus masterd the road. The driver knows it's up and down. When to slow down and when to step on the engine to make sure we could be back on track safe and sound.

In the middle of the journey I could see how beautiful the river is, the stones. So, as how dangerous it would be if things get wrong. I could see people who took photo and videos as well. I could see how they enjoy the moment. How they were amazed of the bus as it travel the difficult road.

As we descend towards the river
Loaded vehicle that is also not allowed to cross the bridge
As we cross the river.
The view of the bridge from where we are

I realize with that journey my life is like the bus, God is the driver and I am the passenger. Sometimes my life was off the road. Sometimes God does not allow us to take those road that we plan to take. Sometimes God puts us to situations where we worry, where we panick. Where we are confused. Where we doubt. Where we question him. But, in this life when we learn to know that God is the driver and has the power to control the only thing we must do is to trust him. We must trust him as to where he would be taking us in this life. Wherever God puts you today. Whatever journey you are taking. He is with you. Learn to acknowledge everything and accept it. And from there you will enjoy the journey. That dangerous journey that made you wise, careful, and much more faithful. That after that journey there could be a better you because of the lessons you have learned and the person you have become. Wiser and stronger.

In this life I may not be on my path that I am planning to take but I believe this is where God puts me. And I will be arriving from the same destination I am aiming to reach. Maybe not the same person who start her journey but better person who would touch the same dream.

Note: This is supposedly an article yesterday but because I couldn't upload any photo I did not published it. I am hoping I could insert one now and luckily I did. So, I push through my publication today. Thank you for reading. God bless.
