Mom's garden

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing great with all the struggles we face every day. Continue to be strong and always pray the Lord and be grateful.

Anyways I just wanted to share to you my mom's garden. It's been few days that I am just here stuck in the house doin' nothing. I'm not that bored because my mom's beautiful garden intertains me very well. I am not into gardening and I don't have a talent nor skills when it comes to such things but my mom is very into flowers thus we have beautiful ones at home. Even though I am not into gardening, I appreciate flowers that I always took photos whenever I see one. Since my storage is full I have decided as well to share Mom's flowers to you.

My apologies with my editing skills everyone, I just edit them on messenger so I could present them together in one frame. Anyways, let's start with her roses. This roses is my gift to her. I saw a lot of roses in my tuitee's house and I ask if I could have few branches to give to my mom. She loves roses as well, more than me. And she grows them very well whenever she had some. So I decided to give it to her as a gift. Now they bloom beautifully and it's such a wonderful scene to behold. We have different colors now and they never stop blooming.

I also like this flowers aside from the fact that it's beautiful, it also stays for a longer period of time which mom's like to choose this flowers to be put into the altar -the area where we put religious staff and pray. It called star cluster because it has a star shape and they group together as a bundle. Mom had different colors of them, lavander, red, white, dark pink and light pink. And they blooms every now and then when the flowers died it replaces new one again for a short time.

Flor de Liz is easy to grown flowers. They easily produced lots of seedlings through its flowers. Whenever the flowers died and fell on the ground it could grow another flowers as well. What's good about this is that it doesn't need extra care. It grows without needing so much time and attention, unlike roses. Though roses stay much longer unlike flor de Liz. This flower is very nice because whenever you let them grow on its own when they died and grown again in that same place the layers of the flowers will eventually doubles or triples from its original form.

Bougainvillea has been Mom's flower since we were kids. I remember having huge tree of this flowers way back when we were in her hometown in our first house. She told many stories about that certain bougainvillea that she had. Then later when we went here in father's hometown she always grows bougainvillea because she likes it very much. Especially when it blooms with such huge bundles she will be very happy. She even got sad when her Mr. And Mrs. bougainvillea died, it's the one that has two colored flowers in one stem.

I would like to introduce to you too, this Mom's flower which she called money-maker. This money maker of hers blooms different flowers in one stem. It would not bloom different flowers at a time though. It blooms one color at a time. Example if now it's yellow flowers that bloom, when it died the red ones replace the yellow ones.

I remember how I tell her a joke about her flower of which why she called it money-maker. I asked her, "does it produce money mom? She laughed saying "off course not." I answered her "then why did you call it money-maker when it wouldn't produce money itself?" "It's just it's name."

Let me share you this, she has this belief my dear readers that if you put it in front of the house it would make the owner of the house earn much money whenever it blooms flowers. She even tell me that when I worked in the city before this money-maker of hers always bloom many flowers. And what a coincidence that when we don't have money, this money-maker flower don't have flowers as well. Well, if you ask me if I believe if it's true, I am afraid I tell you I am. Hehe It doesn't do any harm to me if I do. And because I witness it myself so I did.

I asked her what's the name of this flowers, if it's called orchids. She told me yes, but it's vanda. I got confused and she told me orchids is to the general term of the flowers it's a family name but specifically it is called vanda. I see, I am enlightened after she told me that. I even googled it and it's true. There are a lot of types of orchids, such as moth, cataleya, dancing lady and many more. But mom only had vanda in her garden. She told me she had dancing lady before but they never flowers so she throw others away. She had few of them hanging though but they don't have flowers yet.

I know the story behind this Vanda of hers because she told me about it. It's from a friend of hers in the previous place we had before we move here in my sister's place. According to her, she passed by in her friend's house and she saw this vanda with it's flowers hanging beautifully. She fell in love with it and asked her friend that she wants to buy some of this vanda but her friend refused because she doesn't sell them. But then she did not give up. She asked her friend if she would like to barter some of her banana at home. Since her friend like her offer she gave mom few Vanda in exchange of a banana. That's how she had them. And she never let anyone have them because it is so dear to her. Telling she couldn't have such beautiful flowers.

We have lots of this kind in the yard, lining up to the end of the road. They bloom pretty flowers with different colors. I remember it's from my sister. She asked it from a friend. This flowers is also easy to grow and have lots of it because if you could see a fruit-like circle hanging on its stem (like the one on a white colored one). That's the seedlings of the flowers. You just need to pop it and put the seedlings in a pot. And when it seedlings grows you could place them wherever you like. Just like how my mom let it line up in the road.

It's so cute and very pretty. My sister gave this to mom. It's just one stem before that mom took care off in order to grow. But look at them now. I really like it that I can't just stare at it, so I took a photo. Maybe because of the color. I love violet shades now since fourth year college I think. My original favorite was red but then time flies and many changes one of these is my color preference.

I only capture one color but they have actually three colors of Mom's Vietnam rose; pink, red and yellow color. It crawls and occupying space now since mom just put it in a junk caldron. What makes them very nice to look at because they are just planted in one pot. They are very nice flowers because they bloom fresh flowers everyday.

I will continue some other time and I tell you what my mom's secret of having beautiful flowers blooms everyday.
