Before it's Too Late

Let's not put things later when we can do it now. Time is running and we don't know if we could still do it the next day.

Yesterday I visited my Tita, not by blood but by heart and faith, in there house. I found out that her sister was suffering a stroke it wasn't a mild one anymore because she was already suffering mild stroke since 2017. Right now was a major stroke for her because she was in comma and can't move. She got hospitalize for nine days and they just got home few days when I visited in their house.

When I've heard the news my heart fell. I have known her too, since I stayed in Tita's house when she arrived. It was so sudden because the last time I saw her she was in good shape and about to recover of her mild stroke condition. I couldn't believe it and decided to see her in her room. I asked her assistant of how she is doing and I have known that her food was through a tube that attached to her mouth down to her stomach. I couldn't imagine how painful it is. I also known that she still didn't open her eyes and they need to assist her of everything. They even got her annointed by the priest, because they don't know what will happen to her. They are not certain of her situation.

I asked also if she had been receiving the holy Eucharist or even got the sacrament of confession but they said she didn't because when she was capable to do it she doesn't want to. She just answered them that she wasn't ready yet and she need to pray more. They offered her also to bring to the miraculous child in order for her to be treated and recover but she refused with the same answer that she wasn't ready yet and she need to pray more. Now that she can't even open her eyes the chances was not so sure if she could pray and become ready of things. I fully understand her but I just don't fathom the reality of her not able to seized the moment when she still can because she need to do things when she's ready.

Realizations

• Let's be ready all the time.

We don't know what lies ahead of us. If we could wake up the next morning alive and healthy. Let us be ready always of what's about to come but never forget to enjoy every moment. Let us be ready not just physically, emotionally but also spiritually. Because physical aspects is for this world alone. When we die we don't know what's waiting for us on the other end of the line. Getting ready doesn't required much, it just required positive mindset and hopeful heart. Be positive of what's about to come and think that whatever it will be you need to geared up to conquire it. Hopeful heart means look forward for tommorow with hope and trust in the Lord because with this you will become ready to face of whatever comes your way.

• Let's siezed the moment.

Think that every moment is your last. You don't know. We don't know. Better to do whatever you can right now for you to have no regrets for tomorrow. When you know you can be able to do things right now siezed it. Have the things that matter. Relationship with the family and to the Lord. That's the most important things. Those are the things to be seized aside from your dreams that you have. What's with those achievements and dreams of you don't have someone with you or you don't recognized God in your life. Siezed the moment that you still can value what are the most important things in this life. Know your purpose and siezed it. We are given this life to be part of the family, being part means having good relationship with them and share yourself with them time, talent and treasure. We are given this life to make the creator happy and by loving our neighbors the first commandment of God which our family as our immediate neighbors that He mean.

• Let's not procrastinate.

If we can do it now why later? What's the difference? Let us not procrastinate of things that we can do as early as possible. Let us not waste the chances of doing it right away just because you know your young and you have lot of time about to come. Remember that tomorrow was again not certain so better do it now. Act right away. Do not procrastinate in order for you to have no regrets when things don't side on your ways. Never procrastinate on your dreams, on the things you love and especially on faith. Do something about it now, give what you can now. Build it, paddle your boat towards it, aim for it and work for it. Do not procrastinate because we are not the owner of your life, God is. You don't know when He will take your borrowed life siezed it, always be ready and do not procrastinate.
