There is only one way for them to leave...it's the stairs..and the killer is on the stairs, slowly making his way into their deaths..while the girls curled up in a corner, holding the book tight..

Sam quickly pulled Jada into the small crawl space underneath the stairs.. The killer snorted curses from his mouth as he reached the last step on the stairs indicating he will kill them any minute and switched on his torch to find them... Sam placed her Mom's dairy in the corner of the crawl space which is an open one and does not have door. She hugged Jada and Jada hugged her back as if to indicate if any of them lost their life today, the other one knew they loved each other sincerely and thanked her for being such a great friend from the start.. Sam started to go after the killer when Jada stopped Sam and whispered, "I will go Sam... you need to find the truth about your Mother.. save yourself as I hold him tight.. run away".. Sam was about to say something to stop her but Jada kept her palm on Sam's mouth to keep her silent and not argue against it..

The killer started to break every single piece of furniture and turned every piece of the tables upside down to find Sam.. He bent over the torn sofa to check for Sam when Jada silently creeped behind him, jumped on his neck and back and held him down while she screamed, "Sam...runnnnn!!!".. and Sam immediately took off holding the journal tight in her hands and towards the stairs but Jada was a no match to the man who was well built and strong.. within one instant, he picked her from his back by her hair, threw her on the ground and kicked her in her stomach as Jada screamed in Pain... Blood started gushing from her mouth as she painfully moaned. The killer lifted Jada in the air by pulling her hair and shouted at Sam "I will brutally kill your friend if you do not show up Sam..."

The killer forcefully dropped Jada on the floor and she fell with such a loud thud and hit her head to the floor and screamed in Pain.. but Jada still shouted, "No Sam.. don't stop.. leave NOW" and the killer again kicked her in the stomach shouting "Shut up you little brat".. Jada slowly started to lose consciousness and she was going in and out of faintness when Sam heard the killer open the sword from his sword cover.. he was about to kill Jada when Sam screamed

"No Dad!!!!... Do not hurt her anymore please... I'm coming.. STOP!!!!"

Sam slowly walked down the stairs as she started bawling.. Sam reached the middle of the basement as she collapsed in front of Jada holding her and screaming "what have you done to her.. whyyy" towards her dad as she hugged Jada close to her...

"I warned your little ass to surrender before didn't I?? Now, face the consequences..."

Sam's dad shouted on top of his lungs as he whipped his hammer across Sam's head, hitting her hard on her head and she immediately lost her consciousness... Her last thought was, "Mom....sorry!!!". Jada who was observing everything moaned as she started wiggling Sam's unconscious body to wake her up when Sam's dad took his sword and was about to cut her hands when the basement door jolted open with full force...

Everything after that went like a dream to Jada, of cops entering the basement, shooting Sam's dad until he drops dead.. Paramedics reaching both Sam and Jada, taking the both in a stretcher and taking them towards the ambulance...Jada whispered to the police about the book when she saw a police taking control of Sam's Mom's journal and Sam was completely unaware of everything aftermath.. They both were carefully taken towards the ambulance that was parked before Sam's house when Jada slowly opened her eyes to see her standing near one of the ambulances...She was crying hysterically...

"Rin.........." Jada whispered while Rin came running towards her and held her hands tightly and apologized for whatever that happened to them..and Jada went slowly slipped into a coma...

Fortunately, both Sam and Jada made a full recovery after several months of being unconscious and all the doctors and cops were happy and surprised that they recovered without heavy head trauma... "My Mom was with me all this time. She told me that it's all over and asked me to go back to my life..." Sam slowly uttered the words and only Jada and Rin knew she was telling the truth..

Sam and Jada asked Rin how she came back and what made her and Rin said, "I left your house but couldn't leave completely and my conscious kept telling me to stay back for a while and thus I stayed back near the bushes in the backyard and after sometime, I heard the noise of a glass breaking near your kitchen and secretly peeked from the back wall only to see a huge person with a hammer.. Thank God something inside told me to stay back and I called the police about it.. The police were a little delayed but I'm thankful they made it on time before something worse could have happened" and saying so, she hugged both Jada and Sam... Sam replied, "some times we do not understand our friends leaving, but it's all turned out for a good reason... am glad you left that day Rin..." and they all smiled..

The cops called Sam and informed her how her dad started to notice Sam's Mom doing well in her business and started stalking her secretly. One day, he visited her business and asked her to marry him again so that they all could be a family again for which Sam's Mom refused as she knew her dad has bad intentions and he cares only the money.. This enraged him and he wanted to take control of everything, money house and business.. he stalked Sam's Mom for days and finally drugged her inside her house some chemicals that induce heart attack and wouldn't even be noticed in forensic tests thus not raising any suspicion... While he thought of meeting Sam, she also shunned him down as asked him to stay away from her and this enraged him more to take his own daughter's life... The police found all this information about how the dad was stalking him along with pictures from Sam's Mom's journal and he killed her before she could submit all that evidence to the cops...

Sam explained all this to her friends and they all stayed back with Sam to give her moral support and Sam was so thankful to have such great friends... They were all hanging out while discussing everything one night when Rin suddenly said, "Imagine if your Mom did not hint you.. God, I don't eve want to think about it.." while Sam and Jada looked at each other smiling and thanking her Mother for saving her life while Sam's phone suddenly started to play an audio message Sam's Mom sent to her few months ago before her death,..

"I will always love you Sam.. my daughter, I will always be with you"

Rin and Jada hugged Sam as they smiled ear to ear while Sam wiped the tears from her face........
