Wednesday Well Spent (Our Journey)
Hello, readcash family. How are you all? I hope you are doing great today despite the negativity that life brought to us. We should always be thankful anyway.
By the way, how's your Wednesday? Was the day given you everything according to your expectation? Hmmmmm. If so, that is good to know. Just keep going in life no matter how hard it is. π
As for me, my Wednesday was a bit busy for I accompanied my husband to prepare his employment papers for he is about to start next few days. So, I will share with you how's our day went. Where did we go and what are papers did we prepare? Let's start. π
Early morning we woke up at 5 am. We prepared our breakfast together with our baby. We helped each other so that everything will just be smooth and easier to do. We decided that our daughter will be left in the house of my older sister. She will be the Yaya of the day for our little girl since she has no baby. She will be the one who will take care of our daughter. Her kids are already in their teenage stage. Thankful that she has no appointment today that I have the chance to let my baby with them.
At 9 am, we depart from the house. We were using our motorcycle so that there will be no hassle if we want to transfer from one place to another and also the reason why we didn't commute a jeep was because the fare is still costly even if there is no social distancing. No more barriers on each side. I don't know why it doesn't still back to regular fare again. It is so annoying to think that the jeepney drivers are not giving us as commuters to lower their fare rate. Hays.
As we were traveling heading to the city, policemen were having a COMELEC checkpoint. The purpose is that they are just securing the upcoming elections everything is good and secured. We stopped because our motorcycle wasn't renewed last year October because of some valid reasons. We didn't have the time to renew it by chance. So, we need to avoid it because what if the cops will charge us for not renewing our motorcycle and it will cost much. We don't have a budget for that. We know that we should renew for registration our own motorcycle so that we will not be arrested by the officers but please do forgive us for not renewing it yet. We have a plan to renew it. Not now but very soon.
Therefore, we waited for an hour. We stayed there and waiting the police will be gone. There are lots of people like us who were trapped too. They waited too. A felt thirsty while waiting. I ask my husband to look for a nearby store that sold something to drink. So, we went back to our way and look for a store, and fortunately, we found a milk tea house. Such a perfect drink. Here's the milk tea I bought. π
To be honest, I am not a fan of milk tea. I am not addicted to it. Maybe because I seldom taste it because I know it's not healthy. The flavor I ordered was Okinawa. I tried this one because I want to try another flavor for I already know is just chocolate. Lol. I like the taste. I like it. This would be my new favorite flavor. Hehe. So yummy.
At past 11 am, the policemen were already gone. They were done with their job. So now, we have had the chance to pass going to the City. We directly went first to the computer shop to print the papers. After that, we eat our lunch first because it's already lunchtime.
My husband was the one who fall in line because I, as his wife should just sit and wait for the food. Lol. I took a picture of the store called Crispy King. We like here because it is very affordable and also because we love chicken joy. Lol
Tadaaannnn!!!! Here's our food. We paid just $2 including the soft drink. See, really affordable. Wallet-friendly. And it fills our tummy. This is enough for us. What I didn't like in the store is that there were street kids who ask for food since the store is just open. No barrier. Not to discriminate but the kids were untidy look and some are wearing dirty clothes. Even if we were not yet eating they are there asking for food or money. I just feel pity for the kids wondering where are their parents. Why they are doing this act? They should not do this kind. They should stay at home.
After we were done eating, we went to the private hospital for the swab test which is an antigen. Swab test is one of their requirement and it should be negative. This requirement is included in the new normal society. We don't have a choice but to follow the rules. After 30 minutes of the swab, the result was out. Thankfully, the result was negative.
This was the last requirement he need to have. Thank God that we finished it on that day. He complies with everything.
On that day, our day was good. The weather also cooperates. We were happy because finally we were done complying with all the requirements as needed. Even if we spent more time and money, it is okay. The important there is that we made it. The money that we expense will be back if my husband will start his new job as time goes on. We were beyond grateful to God for helping us such as providing the finances we needed. Guidance and protection as we travel everywhere just to finish everything. Also, for the strength.
By the way, these are the requirements we prepare.
