Admit it, we are all 100% convinced that food from the renowned fast food chain McDonald's is made from artificial ingredients themselves!
When I visited one of the factories where the famous McPotato is prepared, it turned out that the basic ingredient of the popular and cult side dish is really real potatoes.
McDonald's actually handles it quite tiny.
Before your fries become a McPrilo, they pick them up from the field, wash them, peel them, and slice them into the all-well-known McObliko.
The next step is a bath in grape sugar, which they do just to keep the fries their famous golden color. This is followed by treatment with sodium pyrophosphate, which achieves the preservation of potatoes, otherwise it would turn gray before it reaches the restaurants, let alone your plate.
The last step is a partial freeze, and then McKrompirček is ready to enter his work environment - read McDonald's.
Well, that doesn't sound so very awful artificial, does it? 🍟 As big as you like, please - with sweet and sour sauce! 😉
