We often see ants waking on the wall or floor in a straight line. If you have noticed, you would have seen no ant walking by fits and stars.

While walking ants lay down a trail of hormone. This hormone gland is found at the lower side of backside sting of an ant.
When an ant walks, this sting touches the ground and the hormones is laid down. This hormones name is pheromones.
Smelling this fragrance the follower ants move forward and we see them disciplined.
Now let's have some fun😊
If you spray perfume on their path, the ants will get confused. As they can't detect the fragrance of pheromones, they lost their line and get out of it.
