Because when you see someone bought a new car, you would say "hope all" which means you wish that everyone also has a new car. So this somehow correlates to the views and ideologies of communism. Is the Philippines turning into a communist country? Well, that's not possible to happen as the Filipinos don't like socialism even if we have a spirit of civic unity and cooperation.
The negative meaning of saying sana all
While it's fun to say sanaol anytime, however it also has a negative meaning. When we say sanaol it is also like we are comparing our lives to other people. Instead of appreciating what we have, we feel discouraged about what we don't have. We compare our progress with the others and we forget to realize that we all have a different journeys. Well, not everyone who says sanaol feels discouraged or envious. Some say sanaol to congratulate others on their achievements. Some say sanaol because they are inspired by someone. Some say sanaol because they are in awe.
The word Sanaol or Sana all is just one of the most commonly used slang words in Filipino, especially in the internet world. The word Sanaol seems so good to be true if all our wishes would come true by saying that. But the question is should we just keep on saying sanaol to other people's achievement? If others can, why can't we? We don't need to say Sana all to everyone all the time because through hardwork and perseverance we can also achieve what they have achieved without pressuring ourselves. It's amazing to think than an internet word can last for a long time even if it has no formal meaning.
Sana all- a wishful thinking to become that person or to be hopeful in becoming successful too.
Let us turn our Sana All into "Kaya Ko" or "I can."
