Happy first post of 2022 everyone! Today I feel energized and gritty, ready to do 3 excursions and lots of photos for the next few days. I wish everyone a day full of satisfying commitments

@Simonewanderlust

Montorsaio, Tuscany, a very small village where 150 nativity scenes have been set up, at the windows, at the doors and in the squares. They were really good, it was a job well done and nice to see

@Simonewanderlust

Hello, here I am making noise! Yesterday afternoon I was in this medieval village, Pitigliano, in my Tuscany. It was built on a tuff spur and is very impressive. In the second image you can see the ancient Roman aqueduct, still well preserved!

@Simonewanderlust

Hi friends, I just got home from day 31, my new year out with friends is over. The balance was positive, a big dinner on the 31st, three short excursions on day 1 and the last one today. Then the last lunch with friends, where I took this fantastic dish of pasta, cheese and pepper served in a cheese basket (also to eat !!!) I assure you that it was delicious!

@Simonewanderlust

On my way home yesterday I saw in the sky, in the clouds, this balloon in the distance and despite being in the car I managed to capture it. Too bad she was very far away, otherwise a good photo would have come!

@Simonewanderlust

In Nosy Be, an islet north of Madagascar, there are many wildlife parks. One of these has giant tortoises as its absolute protagonists. They are incredible, we could ride them! I had a lot of fun observing and photographing them! These shots date back to August 2016

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning friends. On the first day of the year I took another excursion that I was missing: the Mulino waterfalls! They are natural spas where people relax in very hot water full of minerals that are good for the skin and body. The color of the water is spectacular and the pools are photographed every day and considered a pearl of Tuscany

@Simonewanderlust

Noise! These are the last photos of my summer visit to Slovenia. The first photo is a panoramic tower, from the top of which you can observe a magnificent view over the vineyards and the villages (photo 2). The last is a typical dinner, the cevapcici with potatoes, vegetables and pepper sauce, a real treat!

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning and happy first #Splashot of 2022. In recent days I was in a medieval village in Tuscany and I found several ideas for future works, including this lamp!

@Simonewanderlust

Montecarlo is the capital city-state of the small Principality of Monaco, located in the south of France on the Mediterranean Sea. It is a very rich city, many VIPs live or have residence here. The first image is a glimpse of the skyline, the second the Prince's residence. I was there in April 2005 to celebrate a friend's birthday!

@Simonewanderlust

Lugano, Switzerland. It is a small and welcoming town on the shores of the lake of the same name. It is surrounded by high mountains, from which you can enjoy interesting views. I stopped here in 2010 during an on the road in several states of central Europe

@Simonewanderlust

The fantastic castle of the Morì, built around the year 1000, is a ruined fortress located near Sinatra, Portugal, where I was on vacation with friends in 2004. It is located on a hill from which you have a view to the ocean. very fun to walk on the ramparts that are lost even in a small forest and the views over the whole surrounding area are remarkable!

@Simonewanderlust

Kawa Ljen is a volcano on the island of Java, Indonesia, which I had the pleasure of visiting in 2018.It starts around midnight and a hard trek descends into the crater, where at night you can see blue flames due to the outflow of sulfur . I'm going to show you this show soon, even though there wasn't much activity in those days. The photos were taken once I went up to the edge of the crater, where the sunrise is magical, over the entire crater and the lake on the bottom.

@Simonewanderlust

It's the first #caturday of the year !!. This beautiful cat practically lives in my friend Alessandra's house, it is not hers but of the neighbor's, but very often it is on her property and even at home :) it probably got along well with the other cats and for sure receives good food and attention!

@Simonewanderlust

Today sun, clear skies and pleasant temperatures. I wasted no time and went for a walk around my city. Florence always gives emotions, seeing thousands of entranced tourists around the Duomo gives me great pride. And actually this huge, elegant and eternal structure can only give a sense of beauty

@Simonewanderlust

Good noise and happy Sunday. Today 3 old shots from the vacation in Crete, Greece 2008 here we were in the nightlife area of Matala called Akouna Matata. It was a holiday dedicated to the sea and fun together with 8 other friends

@Simonewanderlust

Have a good start to the week Noise! In June I was in an area of my Tuscany where the landscapes are fairytale. This famous place is called "I triboli". They are 2 groups of cypresses that stand out in immense fields of wheat, and the effect they give is remarkable. I waited until there was no one in front of them to take these photos and make them so pristine!

@Simonewanderlust

I'm trying to learn to take some street photos. These two I shot in Harar, ETHIOPIA in December 2018. It was the first trip in which I spent time looking for people's faces and I must say that there were many ideas and something came to me well. What do you think friends? Do you like this kind of photos?

@Simonewanderlust

Predjama Castle is wedged into a single block of rock. It was considered impregnable because the owner had built long tunnels and so he could go out undisturbed and refuel, and then return. The interior is a bit bare but you can admire the 4 levels on which it is built. It is located in the central part of Slovenia and I visited it at Easter 2016!

@Simonewanderlust

In these days I finally came across a beautiful sunset. While traveling in my car I noticed that these pylons formed a nice silhouette between some interesting colors, also creating a nice diagonal with the cables. I hope you like it too. Good evening everybody

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning and happy #Splashot. I brought out the flowers of the hops, a plant that I really like. It is grown in rows and requires a lot of attention. The adult plants reach up to 2 meters in height and the fruits are mainly used in the processing of beer .. It is precisely the hops that give the bitter and tasty taste to the beer, and I have tasted many, with different varieties and even mixes

@Simonewanderlust

In the last few days I went along the river that flows next to my house and made the first attempts at macro photos with my Canon 650 d reflex. I still have to learn a lot but as a start let's say I'm satisfied. Good evening everyone, soon I'll go to bed, don't make too much noise, otherwise I'll wake up :) :)

@Simonewanderlust

Big Sur! The coast south of San Francisco is gorgeous! Traveling by car you will encounter wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean and many stops are a must. The photos date back to 2013, when I took my first trip with "Adventures in the world"

@Simonewanderlust

Tonight I'm talking about this bench: as you can see it is divided into 4 colors: they represent the 4 districts into which my city, Florence, is divided. Each neighborhood has its own symbol and color and the event par excellence in which the neighborhoods compete is the hard historical football, a primitive football that ends on patron's day with the final that takes place in a historic square of the city. Soon I will also show you the individual benches, scattered around…

@Simonewanderlust

Cartagena de Indians, Colombia is arguably the most beautiful city I have visited in all of South America. The whole center is enclosed within thick walls and the houses are all colorful, with many flowers and wooden half-timbered balconies. The trip dates back to February 2002

@Simonewanderlust

Good weekend everyone! Sometimes I am amazed by the creativity that people can have: from a simple can of beer this model car was created and with the bottle caps, the wheels, which rotate perfectly. I bought this souvenir in Madagascar, also because I had drunk some cans of this beer, THB (three horse beer) and I immediately recognized it. Do you like this art?

Punta Arenas is the southernmost city in the world (if you don't consider Ushuaia village). It is located in Patagonia Chilena and is a city that has remained in my heart: sleepy, peaceful, quiet and green, but also full of life and fun at night. It is one of those places where, when I arrived, a spark immediately went off. The trip to Chile is in December 2004.

@Simonewanderlust

Venice! A city known all over the world. It has a unique charm, the canals, the gondolas, the bridges and its splendid architecture. Last summer I went back to Slovenia for a few days and visited many places: one of them was the Charterhouse of Seitz. It is a former Carthusian monastery, located in a remote valley of the Styria region, and is well preserved, considering that it was built around 1,100. All the structures are very particular and beautiful to observe

Have you ever been for an aperitif or a drink on a plane? Yes, just outside Charleroi, Belgium, there is a parking lot where instead of cars there is a disused plane. And inside there is a nice bar complete with a hostess who prepares excellent drinks. I had a lot of fun with my friends doing this thing. It was in August 2012. Happy Friday everyone!

Chauk htat gyi is a famous temple in Yangoon, Myanmar where there is a huge 70m reclining Buddha. It is perfectly preserved, colorful and bright. Peru 1996, Machu Picchu. The mysterious archaeological site, a UNESCO heritage site, can be reached by cogwheel train from Cuzco through an ups and downs in the sacred valley, until arriving at the Aguas Caliente station. From there a bus takes travelers to the entrance, from which, behind a rock, the whole site appears in its beauty. It is assumed that the city was built around 1400 by the Incas and was subsequently abandoned until its discovery in 1911 by an archaeologist.

@Simonewanderlust

Goodmorning everyone. For my #Mondaycoins today I show you the latest arrival, on Friday: the plasticized and magnetic paper package that contains the 2 euro commemorative coin card "the heroes of the pandemic" which depicts doctors and nurses engaged in the fight against covid. It is very rare, the circulation is only 60,000 pieces and it will be almost impossible to find it in circulation. The cost of the whole folder is 100 dollars, I spent a lot but it was worth it!
