In Nosy Be, an islet north of Madagascar, there are many wildlife parks. One of these has giant tortoises as its absolute protagonists. They are incredible, we could ride them! I had a lot of fun observing and photographing them! These shots date back to August 2016

Oh those turtle are really huge!!! At least they don't bite like a snake.... more peaceful and calm animals. Another cool trip!
Ahaha, that's right, I don't get very close to snakes, I've only done it a couple of times! These are so harmless that I couldn't resist touching them
You've got a giant turtoise there! Love it but I think I can't ride him since he is a gentle animal.
That's a Big tortoise the ones I have here are gopher tortoises much smaller might get as big as 15 pounds.
Wow big size tortoise... How old is the tortoise... This is so big in size
It looks like more than 150, the local guides told us that they are presumably among the oldest on the planet
Oh mamma è enorme! Avrà quasi 100 anni!
Many more. At least so the guides told us. Minimum 150 years
Oh my! Amazing encounter eoth our tortoise friend! Looks like you both had a great meal together because the tortoise has some left over on its mouth ☺️
Oh my God it's so huge, it looks bigger than you, but I think I'd be afraid to go near it
No, no fear. They walk and move very slowly, it was fun petting them!
I know it's peaceful, but I don't know why I'm afraid of some animals, maybe because they don't exist in my area, I'm not used to them
