The fantastic castle of the Morì, built around the year 1000, is a ruined fortress located near Sinatra, Portugal, where I was on vacation with friends in 2004. It is located on a hill from which you have a view to the ocean. very fun to walk on the ramparts that are lost even in a small forest and the views over the whole surrounding area are remarkable!

What a nice castle, still in good conditions, I didn't see that castle as it's not as famous as other monuments and visits in Portugal but I see that it's worthy it. Next time!

  It is very close to the most famous Pena palace, the most famous castle in Portugal, so in one solution you can see both. I loved all 2 of them!

Wow I been in a few old forts one in Saint Augustine Florida that was built in the 1500s and one in Puerto Rico I think it was built in 1500s alway love exploring these old historical sites.
