Ephesus, Turkey. The ruins of the ancient city are located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and it was an important stopover in the trade routes between Europe and Asia. In the photos you can see in the order the famous library of Celsus, the street of Cureti and the Odeon. I visited this wonderful site in August 2002 with 4 friends.

So nice facade... the Celsus library and all the temples, the main street, the remaining walls and columns, I loved that place, and no fences directly walking around there, like Pompeii...
this place is a bit nicer now it's in better condition with some more renovations👌👌🥰

Ruins always bother me.. makes me sad to think once those buildings were flourishing.. but that's the cycle of life I guess, great pics
