Is Online Dating Bad?

It's easy for good looking women to get lots of guys messaging them online, especially when they post beautiful and sexy pictures. If you're not good looking you may not as much attention or any attention at all because all the guys are focusing on the good looking women they see.

As a guy, if you're not rich or don't flaunt your wealth, girls wont respond to you when you try to talk to them online. Being handsome is a plus for wealthy guys but it doesn't matter if you're ugly or handsome, most girls will reply your messages when they see that you're wealthy and live a luxury lifestyle.

Social media and dating apps have made people have more unrealistic expectations, men and women post fake lives online just to attract people. After talking online for a while, when they finally meet in real life they end up being extremely disappointed and disgusted by all the lies.

I know there are exceptions where people meet online and get married and live happily ever after but it's really an exception.

A lot of people feel bad when they don't get matches or get any attention on their posts and it destroys their self esteem, it's really bad but this is the society we live in today.

To avoid being deceived or lied to, I think people should stop focusing on finding the perfect match to their personalities online, nobody is perfect they are all pretending to be something they are not, nobody posts their bad sides or habits online.

If you want to meet and get to know real people, go out more. I'm 100% certain you will meet people that would like you and find you interesting. Have conversations with people in person, have a good time, don't spend all your time worrying about finding the perfect partner, the best relationships happen when you're not looking for one.

This article is so true. Looks before character. We should not be conceived with the looks. More important is how good a person is, but in social media we can never say that the person we're talking has the same traits that he/she is showing you online. They can be so good at you for you to fall also for them.

You can never know a persons real behavior from their social media or what they tell you online, they may be telling the truth or lying, you can't really tell cause you're not seeing them.

For me, online dating is not that bad. It is "US" who can limit ourselves with possibilities. If someone sent you a message but it didn't turn into a romantic relationship, the two of you can be friends. Based on my experience, we cannot please everyone to like us back just because of a picture. My current relationship is from Social Media, we are able to be close because of our consistent chitchats and being comfortable to each other even if where just talking over a phone.

That's great! happy for the both of you, It's not easy to find love online. Most people have had extremely horrible online dating experiences and most people go on dating sites to find love not friendship so it's hard to be friends with someone you find attractive and want to be in a relationship with.

We are only perfect for ourselves if you find the perfect woman, the safest thing is that for her you are not the perfect man. Exactly! you may find the perfect woman but you may not be the perfect man for her, she may hate everything about you, that doesn't mean there isn't some women out there that may not be perfect but still love you for who you are. You have to be with someone physically for a while to really know all their sides, not just what they show you online.

There are a lot of people online but a lot of them show only the best parts of their lives or even fake it, they never show their bad habits or things that other people don't like, they all want to look perfect online, they have a version of themselves they show online that's different from who they really are.
