Opportunity in every crisis.

Would you still believe that in every crisis that we face, there’s an opportunity hiding behind it? Have you heard that same thought somewhere? Well, this idea came from one of the renowned person in the history because of his incomparable intelligence and contribution to the world of science, Albert Einstein.
His exact words are these, “in the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity.”
Oftentimes, things won’t go the way we expected it to be. Perhaps, all we get is the opposite of what we are asking. I’ve seen several people give up just because they thought that things aren’t working on their favor. And I’ll be hypocrite if I will say that I’ve never been one of them.
No one wants inconvenience right? People always prefer to have things in accordance to their advantages.
But sometimes, we missed to see the point of adversities. It may be the universe’s way of teaching us that even if we don’t get the things that we desire, it could still be turn into a seed of opportunity, if we would just see it through the lens of opportunist.
I can still remember the times where I would usually asked God to give me more patience. But instead of giving it directly to me, he created situations to test my patience. See? Things won’t just easily knock on your door waiting for you to receive it. Sometimes, we often forgot the importance of being stretched, challenged, and tested in order to get the things that we prayed for.
With that being said, allow me to share in here what I found in Facebook that are related with this topic of mine.

Anything that annoys you is teaching you patience.
This is exactly what happened to me. I was bombarded with annoying things and events after I prayed for patience. And I was like, seriously Lord? This is not what I am asking you. But then, later on, I have understood that without those things, I won’t surely work out my patience.
Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how to stand up on your own two feet.
I’ve heard so many stories of independent people that have history of abandonment and rejection. And they would always attest that they became stronger and tougher because of those things. Instead of letting themselves be drowned in loneliness and misfortunes that has happened to them, they choose to use these things to rise up and be the better version of themselves.
Anything that can’t control is teaching you how to let go.
Sure, there are a lot of things that even if we know that it’s already out of our control, we still choose to force ourselves unto it. And that often results to disappointment, pain, and discouragement. I know, letting go is hard, especially if you badly want that thing. But holding on to something that we have no full control can be very frustrating and would constantly just hurt us.
Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion
Anger is one the most exhausting and draining emotion that a person can have. In fact, I can’t see any positive effects of this thing. But it’ll be the way to learn to forgive and be compaasionate.
Anything that has power over you is teaching you how to take your power back.
Never let anyone intimidate and control you by their power. Don’t ever forget that you also have power over yourself and you should be the who takes control with your life. Take your power back!

Conclusion
Remember that in every crisis that we encounter, it’ll be up to us on how we are going to deal with it. Will you choose to find the opportunity that lies with it or just be bitter about it? Thank you for your time. Till next blog!
