Short Story
Tina is very beautiful and a head turner lady in their town. She's a 25 years old woman and had been in countless relationship but sad to say, all of it fails. She couldn't understand why she can't find the right person whom she will spend the rest of her life with. The reason of most of her break ups with her exes was because of her attitude. She's a bit manipulative and controlling. However, despite of these toxic traits, her exes will still choose to stay. It's just that, she was the one who always initiated the break ups.
'He isn't the right one'
This phrase was her common thought and mostly the reason why she decided to break up with them. So full of her self and pride that she didn't notice that she was actually the problem.
But the game changes when she meets Roy. Tina and Roy has been together for almost a year now and as usual, Tina is the superior of their relationship. She always get what she wants and Roy would just give way to her because of love.
One day, Tina decided to break up with Roy because she feels like something is missing and she actually got bored. She immediately think that Roy isn't the one.
"I am breaking up with you"
"Why? Is there someone else? Did I do something wrong?"
"Nope. I just realized that we aren't mean to be and you are definitely not the right person."
"What are you basis about the right person?"
"It's none of your business anymore. I fell out of love and I don't wanna waste my time with the wrong one."
"How bout you Tina?"
"What do you mean by how about me?"
"Are you even a right person for that right person that you were constantly searching? You are so blinded by finding the right person without even realizing that you aren't becoming the right one that you wish to have. Let us say that you we will splitand luckily find the person that you are dreaming about. Do you think you'll be a right person for him?"
Tina failed to utter any words.
"You see, right person is just around the corner and will eventually come if you, yourself become the right person as well. Be the right person and I will do all my best to be right for you Tina. I can't lose you. Not this time. Not tomorrow. Never. Let's think and act right for each other."

Sometimes, without our knowledge, we might already found our person. However, we fail to see it because we aren't ready yet. We still need to go through refinement and sharpening to be fully prepared to meet our soulmate.
Always choose the person who is willing to be the right one for you. Don't settle for less and always set realistic standards.
The person who is going to be our future partner also wants to meet the right person. Work on yourself and allow it to grow. Be the right person that your future other half is looking for. There's no such thing as perfect partner. Long lasting relationship is build by two imperfect person who choose to be right for each other.

Author's Viewpoint
Looking back, I have realized that I really misperceive some aspects of love. There are things that I thought were right but actually erroneous. And I am glad that I was able to reflect about it in order to apply in my current relationship. Aside from that, my boyfriend was actually the one who made me realized about these things. I am glad that I found the right one who's teaching me to be the right one as well.
Oh My I need one Roy in my Life. Where to find that kind of man? Basta ako naghihintay lang ako sa isang tabi, walang hanapan na magaganap. Pag may dumatinf then fine, pag wala then much better hahaha sapat na ang sarili ko para sa sarili ko.
