My original plan is to give my Mommy a cash for her birthday, same with Mama. I also decided cash for a gift because I don't really know what to give to her. But the other day, I heard my Mom asking for my brother (by the way he's a she now) to pay for her debt because she need to buy that thing.
I mean it's a medical tools in monitoring her blood pressure called sphyg·mo·ma·nom·e·ter cheness. I want to buy the digital one but my other Mom (her partner) want the manual one. Off course she's the one checking my Mom's blood pressure so she has a say on it.
And that's why I come up to this idea, on what to give to her as a gift. I will buy her that sphygcheness, but I will do it online. I want to try that online shopping though I will only buy one item lol. In our place that sphygcheness cost a lot and that's my Mom problems too.
She's actually the one who suggested, to buy it online. She plan to use that money she will get to my sisterette, that's why last night I told her that I will buy it for her as my birthday gift to her. Hindi na tuloy surprise, tssk.
And today, I place an order in Shopee. This is my first time seriously and I don't know what to do. Good thing I have a friend in facebook and she's just one chat away, te-hee. I still have a doubt but off course before I place that order I read first the reviews on that product just to make sure.
And good thing is, para iwas scam they have this option called COD as mode of payment. I don't really know what that means and that's why I ask again that friend of mine and she said it is "Cash on Delivery." Lol, I learn something from it.
I actually am writing this article because I want to share to you what I felt when I'm on the application. I felt amazed of how you can just tap tap tap and tap everything as in just add to cart it, wait for a day or two and then your order will arrive in your house.
It's cool because I don't need to go outside just to look for that product, and I can choose because it has a lot of option unlike here in our place. I feel in love in this app instantly (tho mas mahal kita 😉.) But I encounter a lot of problems when I'm inside of Shopee Mall.
But not the technical chenes error and everything. It is a problem that I think everyone can relate. I can't stop myself from tap tapping the add to card button. I'm having a good time of searching those items that I really want to buy and then after checking the reviews I will hit again the Add to Cart button.
I can't stop myself my goodness. My plan is just to buy my Mom her sphygmomanometer but, I can't stop my finger on tap tapping that button. And because of that I buy myself this two items 🤭. But now that I think about it, I think I'm really not on my right mind when I hit that Check Out button 🤦.
I want to cancel it now but I can't because it was approved already and the item is, oh my. I think I was hypnotized, because I am regretting it now. Or maybe I'm just saying this or whatever but I'm still excited, for real lol. I don't know anymore I can't understand myself right now.
Now that I experience this I think, I will do it again. I put some item on my cart and I plan to buy it maybe once I get myself a money. Or I can save again here, and then will use it once I saved enough. I can understand now those online shoppers, because I already experience it lol.
What to do when you are online shopping on a shopping app?
Buy only what you need, don't get too excited when you see this one item with a 80% off. Refrain yourself, ask one of your siblings or whoever you had on you side to slap your face once you place 3 to 5 items. And think of tomorrow.
Stop or refrain yourself from scrolling in the main page of Shopee or Lazada and then add to cart this item who caught your attention. You will add to cart that now but I'm sure you will go back at it and will finally hit that Check Out, niloloko mo ang sarili mo.
Look at your wallet and think again
Think of your debt that still unpaid.
But if you are an addict online shopper maybe it's time for you to say bye bye to those app so that your mind will be clear and iwas tukso na rin.
It's still up to you if you will really stop your addiction on shopping online. Remember, you don't have Daisuke Kambe to buy anything what you want, chorrrr.
Anyway, I will just visit finish this article and will go back again on Shopee, I want to look for this item that I really really want for a long time now.
