I'll like to write the story of a successful woman I heard of in a gathering.
At age 12, she witnessed her younger brother get killed by a car.
In that same year which this happened, her parents got separated.
Two of her close pals tragically passed away within months of each other, one died of cancer while the other died of unexpectedly with no record of ailment.

Because of this horrifying year, her father bought her some motivational books, told her tO read and understand why some things we don't expect happens to us.
She ended up memorizing these books and even sought out more motivational books and stories herself.
She became very much determined to succeed at all cost.
She began to imagine herself as a motivational speaker in front of a crowd telling peoplenot to giveup on life, no matter what they are going through.
She didn’t know exactly what brought about that imagination yet though.
While in secondary school her friends mocked her for being too obsessed with reading motivational books.
After secondary school, she tried to apply for a degree in law, but changed her mind after she failed in 3 attempt.
She got a job as a cashier in an old library. Her old secondary school friends laughed at her for the kind of job she got.
After this, she got a job to start selling newspapers from house to house. This made her so uncomfortable, but she was determined and every ready to get over any iota of fear in her.
She started making short motivational skits, but she wasn’t very good at it. Most times she practices in her room facing the mirror.
Later she decided to upload this clips online.
While at this, she learnt to have the courage and boldness to face constant rejection which she gets after uploading her speeches online.
Some people laugh at her for speaking poorly, while some applauded her for having a bright future ahead.
Despite some success she got in what she does, she wanted to start a business of her own, but she had no idea what to do.
Soon, she attempted to present her idea with at young children in her area, knowing that if they read it, they could get her message but they all rejected and laughed at her.
Because no one took what she did serious, she decided to start writing her own motivational books instead.
After that, she start calling on editors who will help her edit her work for production. Still, she faced more mockery and rejections from people.
Her friends and family were also not too sure about her new idea, calling it "too simple." and "not real"
She finally found a man who was an editor and agreed to help her proofread the book after his daughter read one of her books and loved it.
Soon after the man helped her in publishing the book. The book gained lot of fame
And not quite long she was called to appear on a show to feature her and her new motivational book.
She through this became the youngest self-made female billionaire.
She was named in various magazine’s annual list as one of the most influential women in the world.
The friends from secondary school that made fun of her for reading too much motivational books reached out and told her they wished they had read those books.
This story is just to tell us that no matter how rough we start, things will be fine, we will be successful.
Ours is not the first, let's just keep pushing and stay focused. Success is ascertained.

Sometimes I tell myself that there's a light at then end of the tunnel BUT if I am really having a hard time I will tell myself that my tunnel is too long as I cannot really see the light. 😔
