Condolence

How's life read.cash family? Hoping y'all doing well.

Life is indeed beautiful but we all know that it's not always easy, it has problems too. We must have the courage to face the problem and let the beauty of life work like a balm of hope and enduring pain in difficult times. Difficulties test a person's courage, perseverance, faith and true character. Adversity makes a person strong and ready to face life's trials with equanimity. There is no doubt that nothing can be done without pain. Every happiness has torment. Success is nourished and maintained only when a person works hard for it. Therefore, life is not all about the bed of roses because thorns is part of it whether we like it or not. Whatever the reason and result we must embrace the beautiful aspect of life. A thorn reminds a person how difficult she'd/he'd been going through and we shouldn't always drown ourselves to disappointment and discouragement but always look at the beauty of life and would soon overcome the prick of thorns.

It's easy to say, right? But it's very hard to apply. What if the thorns means losing one of the family members? What if the light you longing for becomes dark? As so your life. Do you believe that life is short? Well I do.

Today is a heartbreaking day for me. I got news that the daughter of one of my boyfriend's friends died. She's just 4 years old and once a healthy baby girl but life is truly unpredictable. Their life turns upside down when the child has been diagnosed with a severe seizure. After how many days of staying at one of the hospitals here in Davao, her brain already gave up. They're trying to save his life by providing the machine but still doesn't enough to make her live. At a young age she left this wonderfully made world. Even my boyfriend can't accept the reality, so does the family. I still remember when he attended the christening to be her Godfather but now she's gone.How devastating the situation is. If only we have the ability to pause time, why not? Though it's pretty hard to accept, they have too. Healing may take so much time, effort and energy but they have no choice after all. Maybe someday they can but as for today and the next day crying will at least ease the pain.

The life of our family is truly valuable and we are willing to give everything we had just to make them live longer. We can even make all things possible as long as it's for our family sake. We can find money everywhere but life will only live once. This incident made me realize so many things.

• Show how much you LOVE them. It doesn't always mean about money.

• TREASURE every moment. When you're with time valued every moment.

• APPRECIATE their efforts. When they sacrifice a lot or a little just for you, then say "Thank you" that would surely make them smile.

• SPEND TIME. Life is short, save some time to visit them. Hang out and date them. It doesn't need to be in fancy restaurants.

• HUG and KISS them. I admit I feel shy when I do this but this shows how much we adore them. Try this one.

• Always say I LOVE YOU. I often say these words to my mom, I sometimes say in a "joke" style but I truly love them as much as I love myself.

• SURPRISE them. Giving surprises is overwhelming when you see them happy.

• Never LEAVE their side. Always be there when they need you. Always check what's going on and how their day went.
