Toun is the only surviving child of late chief Amusa. Her father left her a huge amount of inheritance in cash and kind. After she graduated from the higher institution, she resumed and the chairman of all her father's conglomerate. Despite that her father died two years ago, the companies still made huge profits with little or no supervision on that part of those who were at the helms of affair.
On the day Toun resumed office as the chairman of the companies, she happily rewarded all the managers and departmental heads with special gifts for their loyalty to her late father, chief Amusa.
Four years later, different suitors started making their way to her. She knew that most of them were aiming for the wealth she has and not because they loved her.

Franklin, a thirty-three years old architect who was employed in one of Toun's company became her favorite. The young man had played his card right that Toun had to settle with him.

On the night of the revelation, when Toun got home, she pretended like nothing had happened because she feared that if Franklin discover that she knew what he had been up to, he may likely kill her. So, she played fool. Franklin wanted to get in between her legs and Toun did not stop him. He made passionate love to her while Toun moaned in pretense so as not to raise any suspicion.
She first thought of filing for a divorce but later rescinded the idea. Why would a nobody come to destroy her life despite all she gave to ensure that the marriages work.
Her father's sweat must not be destroyed in her lifetime. She decided to take a walk away for the time being. She had all planned out in two months. All the while, the trauma was eating her deep, it she acted like a man-woman and allowed it pass.
No one could fathom that something was wrong with her. She carried her cross to the climax. A day before she left the shores of Nigeria, she passed a secret circular to all the company manager not to ever allow Franklin entrance let alone authority to any document.
Secretly, Toun has ordered her father's lawyer to change all documents of her father's property back to her name. She traveled out of town and filed dropped a note never to see Franklin again. Since they never had any child together, the marriage came to an abrupt end.
