November is over and I present my results from articles and posts published on the four platforms I'm using.
Happy December, everybody! Have some quality time this holiday, with your families and loved ones.
I finished the month publishing one new article daily, (thirty in total). While most of my articles this month had been about Bitcoin Cash and SmartBCH, this wasn't intentional.
The only reason is the rapid developments in the wider Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, with various new projects building on SmartBCH.
It is amazing to see such enthusiasm and increase in the userbase. It would be an omission to skip SmartBCH and pretend it doesn't exist, something the mainstream cryptocurrency media (websites, influencers, YouTubers), are doing.
November Report
For Hive, and Medium, I counted the totals for the month and didn't record on the excel the performance of each post individualy. For Medium it does not matter a lot, since previous posts are performing way better and it seems that some can begin trending at random moments, perhaps after a mention on social media by someone that enjoyed reading them.
Totals:
Totals
Read.Cash: 0.61121987 BCH (~$350)
Noise.Cash: 0.36380415 BCH (~$208)
Medium: 0.049137 BCH ($28.50)
Hive: 0.13413 BCH ($77.80)
total: BCH: 1.15829093
Medium payments are directly deposited to a bank at the beginning of each month. It doesn't allow cryptocurrency withdrawals.
Hive payments come in terms of HIVE, LEO, POB, and other tokens, which I stake there. I have never withdrawn from HIVE and my wallet has reached more than $500 value after 6 months of using this platform. This is a decent estimate of about $100/monthly, however, this money is not withdrawable immediately.
It is also interesting to see the articles I've published in November having an average of 122 views, each.
read.cash - 0.61121987 BCH (~$350)
Rewards of 0,611 BCH from read.cash, is simply amazing!
Thanks for the read.cash community, it was an amazing month.
I don't sell, but hold, accumulate and use BCH any time I can, mostly in SmartBCH. I've also used BCH recently to buy a deck at Splinterlands and getting better at this game lately.
Tips
I tipped $66,50 to fellow read.cash writers in November. I love reading and spending time daily with many of my favorite authors.
It is nice to see many read.cash users are tipping lately.
These contributions are an acknowledgment that increases engagement and encourages the author.
Can’t say I know all the top-tippers, though. There are some names up that are new to me.
Anyway, this is up to the user to handle tips as they want. It is all voluntarily tips given and received.
What matters is to bring unique articles and ideas and not count on what others write when content has dried out.
When writing on any topic, it is best to give a link to the post that inspired us to write something similar.
read.cash Community
I admire those read.cash members that hold their BCH, and in the beginning I had to sell when the price was rising in May, having to cover some personal gaps, but currently, I hold more than seven BCH and plan to keep increasing my investment with more fiat. Jane has been an amazing supporter of BCH and a true believer that inspired me to increase and keep accumulating BCH.
Staking BCH sats, you can call it. A term that has meaning for Bitcoin Cash, since its price is extremely low considering the overall sentiment of the crypto market.
It could be great for all to begin accumulating more. Club1BCH was a great idea and helped a lot with the adoption of Bitcoin Cash. While price in USD is not important, it still matters to keep accumulating Bitcoin Cash as the digital economy is increasing and cryptocurrencies will be in high demand.
noise.cash 0.36380415 BCH (~$208)
Noise.cash was great in November as usual!
I have reached a high number of followers and received some good tips for my posts. Although, sometimes, herds of spammers appear in my comments section and it gets annoying to lower the quality to the ground with comments that don't belong there.
In total the tips from noise.cash reached 0.3638 BCH which is a number above my expectations and new best. In dollar terms, it is a little more than $200.
I am spending more time in noise.cash than previously and getting addicted to it. The tipping system changed and demands more engagement now since it reverted an old system of "free tips" available to give to other posters.
Hive - 0.13413 BCH ($77.80)
The price of HIVE shot upwards this month and many are holding way more than me, but for Hive it is a requirement to stake coins since it increases voting power.
With Hive this all goes in staking. I've also received many Hive tokens, which I stake.
Withdrawing from HIVE takes a certain process. I have about 200 HIVE staked. If I try to withdraw this amount, it will take me 3 months to completely withdraw. This is some kind of feature to avoid whales from dumping prices. This amount probably doesn't matter and maybe I shouldn't count it, since it is not available immediately.
Hive rewards have not increased. It is just the price of the assets that shot up and gave value to what was previously accumulated and staked.
Medium - 0.049137 BCH ($28.50)
The total from Medium will be $28.50 for November. Too low considering these are tips received for just one of my articles at read.cash. Seems like a waste of time publishing anything at Medium.
I am making 50% less than when I started and had fewer overall views and reads. I have currently more reads and views than August and making less. It is simply not worth it.
My top article at Medium has more than 9,000 views and the earnings are a mere $6.8.
Moreover, my account was suspended for almost one day, after some random spammer reported it. It is now back, but I don’t feel like publishing at Medium after all of this.
Many of my articles have great SEO and are ranked top at google search, however, Medium only pays for views from Medium subscribers.
There are plenty of cryptocurrencies enjoying publicity and high reading time because of the hype in social media that turned millions of newcomers to invest in random and pointless tokens like Shiba Inu.
The trend in Bitcoin Cash is anti-hype, though!
This low visibility, though, affects the numbers on Bitcoin Cash-related material. Hyped tokens get all the views.
In Conclusion
November was great considering the rewards from Read.cash, noise.cash, and Hive. The rewards were better than October by 0.1BCH, which is great to see. Basically, rewards from read.cash and noise.cash account for almost 1 Bitcoin Cash.
Did amazingly well with my investments in SmartBCH too. The recent downturn decreased the profit in BCH and USD, but I expect December to be bullish and reach even higher profit.
Read.cash tips are consistent and provide more than half of the total rewards from writing online. What read.cash offers is certainly not the same as Hive, Medium, or any other writing platform. Noise.Cash is equally amazing and always suggests it as an alternative social media. Noise.Cash also just reached 300,000 users, which is a remarkable achievement. Once it crosses 1 million, it will be when things will get interesting.
It is bullish for Bitcoin Cash to see exchanges having run out of BCH and stopping withdrawals, but yet, another reason to hold and use our BCH directly from our wallets with no third parties, and not trust centralized exchanges.Noise.cash today reached 300,000 users!
Congratulations to noise.cash for this incredible achievement !!!
Remarkably, our favorite social media noise.cash, has just passed the 300,000 users’ limit! Noise.cash has performed a service to Bitcoin Cash and cryptocurrencies in general.
One achievement the whole cryptocurrency community should acknowledge and admire.
Special thanks to Marc De Mesel for making read.cash and noise.cash possible. We all are worried, hope for a speedy resolution and have you back with us soon!
