An Appointment is Set Good day, everyone! How should I start this article ba? I guess I'll start by thanking you all for continuing to read my articles, kahit na this past few days, I was not able to read yours. My apologies. I haven't been feeling well these last few days, and I still don't feel well right now. But just like what my lola said, "Huwag aalagaan ang sakit." According to her, kapag masyado natin inalagaan, like all we do is nakahiga lang or nakupo, we'll feel worse lang and so dapat, galaw galaw lang. And that's what I did this morning. My husband has to be early at work, so I had to do the chores. I did not obligate my daughter to help me because she slept late last night, finishing their group project. So I let her sleep more. But after doing it all, I felt unwell na naman, so I took a paracetamol and rested for a while. I had to pay our water bill that was already past due. And then I will buy my medicine and head straight to the market to buy our food. And so, after a 30 minute rest, I prepared myself to go out, but then I decided na sabay na lang kami ng anak ko. I am not comfortable kasi na aalis sya na mag isa lalo na kapag malayo ang pupuntahan nya. Normally, kasi, kapag may lakad sya, hinahatid sya ng Papa nya at sinusundo. After an hour, we were off, and pinauna ko na sya ng sakay kasi out of the way yung pupuntahan nya. I told the driver to keep her safe and tinandaan ko yung mukha ng driver pati city number ng tricycle nya. It is better to be safe than sorry, especially nowadays. I think I was out for an hour. I feel so exhausted pagkauwi ko ng bahay. I headed straight to the kitchen to cook our viand. I was not supposed to cook it right away and would have a rest, but gosh, my cats were all over me and were asking for food. They are like that when they can smell fish, lol! I bought bangus kasi and so ayun nga, they will not stop until I feed them. So I had no other choice, and it took 30 minutes for it to be cooked, and I fed them. That is when I had free time to rest, lol! While having my free time, I decided to call the number my doctor gave me for an RNS appointment. I texted at first, I include in the message that I was reffered by Dra. Jordan to them for RNS and if I can give them a call for some questions. I received a response so I called right away. It was a man on the other end. He asked me about my name and age and what date would I want my appointment to be set. If it's possible next week I want to be scheduled next week, I respond. After that, he told me that since my doctor had recommended me to Dr. Talamera, he could not give me to the other doctor and that Dr. Talamera's schedule next week was already full. He added that the closest schedule he could give me is on May 26, 2022. After thinking for a while, I told him to give me that appointment. And so, he then reminded me of things that I should do before going there. This is the only paper that I could grab before making the call so I wrote everything here for me to not forget. The first thing was that I needed to be there before 10 a.m. So we have to travel early. My husband will accompany me on that day. Next was that I should not take any medication before going there or before having my RNS because it would have an effect on the result. Then he told me to wear a loose shirt or dress that is above the knee because, according to him, an apparatus would be connected to my body or something like that. He also said that I should not apply lotion or sunblock, and to bring an extra blanket. And here's the most important part: the RNS costs six thousand pesos, or $120. Well, I still have a lot of time to save for that amount. I asked him if the process would take long and if we can have the result right away so that we could prepare if we needed to stay in Iloilo for another day. He said no, that it will not take an hour and we can have the result after. I was happy to hear that, it means we can go home right away. After asking him the location of the said hospital, I ended the call. I sent a message to my doctor's secretary, to inform Dra. Jordan that I had already set an appointment for RNS because that was what she told me, to inform her once I had an appointment. After the RNS, the next thing to do is to have a chest CT Scan. Hopefully, the results will be in my favor. Date Published: May 4, 2022

Tuesday Article: Untitled Yesterday I was unable to write an article. I got so busy in the morning cleaning our house. I did a general cleaning, like thoroughly cleaning the entire house. I do it twice a month, or sometimes thrice a month. And because of that, I was so tired and experienced body pain.  My doctor advised me not to overwork my body because it would harm my health. But the hard-headed me can not stop myself from doing household chores, especially if everything is a mess. And so last night, I felt weak and had a fever. I was chilling the whole night, so I had to wear socks and a sweater in bed. However, after taking a paracetamol a couple of times, I got better, and when I woke up this morning, though I still felt weak, I felt much better than last night.  Moving on, while I was busy cleaning yesterday, my sister Katy called me. She was like "nagsusumbong" about the situation of our nephews. Our youngest divorced her first husband and now has a new partner, and they had a son. My sister, Katy, took care of her two sons while she was pregnant. But now that Katy is going back to Hong Kong for work, Kate took them back.  But when Katy went to Kate's house for 4 days because they attended the burial of our Tito, the kids started telling her that their mom was not taking good care of them. And since she's working for PAF, she's not always home, and her partner was left with the kids. The kids told her that the guy let them do the house chores, even fetching water. Their house was on the second floor, so just imagine how hard it would be for a 10-year-old kid to carry a bucketful of water to the second floor while the guy was only playing ML the whole day. And the guy even hit them, as the kids say. Katy asked them if they had told their mom, but the kids said no. I guess they were afraid.  My nephews are only 8 and 10 years old, so I got furious when I heard the news. I told Katy that she should have told Kate about what the kids told her, but she said she was looking for the right time to tell her, but the guy was always beside our sister. If only I was there, I would have given the guy a beating and also slapped my sister for not attending to her kids' needs. She is focusing only on her son with the guy.  And so, I asked my husband and daughter if it was okay if I took the kids from their mom. And have them study here. Both of them agreed, so I messaged my sister about my plan and she said she was okay with it.  I hadn't told her about what we discovered because the kids were still in her custody, but once I got the kids, I would definitely give her something that she would never forget.  I don't know what got into her. I saw how she took care of the kids when they were still young, and she was very attentive to their needs. They were so precious to her. I guess her attention was diverted to her new son and his new partner.  She's my sister, but I could not tolerate her doing that to her sons. When the school year ends, I will have her send the kids to me right away. I felt so sorry for the kids. They can't even enjoy it because he won't let them play outside.  I don't know if she knew what was happening, though. This is why I told myself that if my husband and I divorced, I would not look for another man and instead focus on my daughter. I know I should not be sharing this because this is a personal matter and you will think badly of my sister, but I think sharing this will give awareness to those who are in the same situation as my sister Kate. But to clarify things, my sister is a good person. Date Published: May 3, 2022 Lead Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/kk1BBfUryPaQ5zZt5

@Pachuchay

I don't think I can publish an article today, I suddenly felt sick. I only read a few articles for today. Sorry guys I'll make it up to you all once I feel better..

@Pachuchay

Gracias Abril! Good day, and welcome to the first day of May! And just like that, another page of our calendar has vanished. Time flies by so quickly, especially when you're busy with work or other activities that keep you occupied, that you do not even notice the date. Anyway, how did you find the month of April? Well, I must say that it has been favorable to both me and my family. Let's start with my health. As you all know, I am sick and have to be medicated for life. It was in the month of March when we decided to seek a second opinion and are glad that we did. Because we found out that I only needed a few medicines and not 10 or more to be taken daily. So, after switching doctors, my medication costs were cut in half. That's a big change for me, a good change. And after having my checkup just recently with my doctor, I am glad that all the results are good. So I need to not worry and just focus on keeping my body strong and healthy. My next checkup will be in the month of June so I have many days to save for that appointment. Let us now discuss our finances. In comparison to the previous month, I must say that we are doing quite well. Unlike before, when I had to work harder every day because there will not be enough money to buy our food and medicine if I didn't. Now, I can unwind for a while and not publish an article even for a day. I can say confidently that we were not financially troubled. (well, at least for now, hehe) It's because my husband's job has become more secure. And my husband informed me that there will be more projects in the future, so yay! After all of those dry days, better days are on the way. Let's take a look at how much I earned on both platforms in April. In terms of articles, I was unable to meet my goal of writing one per day. After double-checking, I discovered that I was able to publish 28 articles only for the entire month of April. And the total value of those 28 articles is (drum roll please) ****$217.31!**** I didn't think I'd be able to meet my April goal with only 28 articles, but thanks to the generosity of other users and, of course, our dear Rusty, I did. So, guys, thank you for always being there for me. And in noise.cash, I was able to earn ****$68.62, or 3,431 pesos****, in the whole month of April. So to sum it up, I have earned ****$285.93, or 14, 296.5**** pesos! I am surprised. Wow! I even surpassed my March earnings. Of course, like I always said, it would not be possible without your help, guys. Thank you! And one more thing, I can proudly say that I was able to save and not just spend last month.  I created another wallet which I named 1 BCH, and I saved at least a dollar or two in every transaction that I made in the month of April, and I was able to save ****0.11818856 BCH****. I was hoping that I could reach my 1 BCH goal in no time. So I hope things will go as I planned. And now, I can safely say that the month of April was very productive in every way. And I hope it will continue to get better. Of course, I should work hard for it to be possible. Once again, I'd like to thank you all for all the support! Date Published: May 1, 2022

@Pachuchay

What would you choose, get even or get over it? We are on the last day of the month. Are you all ready for a new month that is hours away from now? I do! And I am expecting a monthly report in the form of an article today. In fact, I read @imanagrcltrst article about how productive her April was. Excellent work, Beh! I haven't checked mine yet, but I don't think I'm as productive as I was last month. But let's not get into that because that isn't the topic of my article today. I was looking for writing topics on Pinterest and came across this one that sounded interesting and would be fun to answer. There are a lot of options to choose from, so if you want to see more of them, go to Pinterest. (I apologize for forgetting to copy the link, but you can use the one provided below for reference.) Source https://pin.it/44DTxU4 **Get even or get over it.** To be honest, I wanted to get even, to make them feel the same pain that I had. Just like the famous saying goes, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." But then I realized that the never-ending hatred would be exhausting and that I would be the one who lost in the end. As a result, it is preferable to move on and get over it. And, you know, the best retaliation is to show them how happy you are. **Have no internet or have no phone.** I'd rather not have a phone than no internet. The internet is now considered a necessity because it plays such an important role in our daily lives. **Be invisible or read minds.** I'd rather be invisible than be able to read people's minds. Imagine being surrounded by a large crowd and being able to read people's minds. That would be a real pain in the a$$! However, if I am invisible, I can go to forbidden places without being discovered. Or go into someone's closet and see what they've been keeping hidden, lol! **Be able to rewind time or be able to pause time.** I'd prefer to be able to pause time, but I believe it would be much better if you could rewind or go back in time. To undo the things that I believe will have a significant impact on my future. However, being able to pause time will assist you in avoiding mistakes or incidents before they occur. So, can I have both? LOL! **Breathe underwater or be able to fly.** Even as a child, I envied the freedom with which the birds flew in the sky. So I'd rather be able to fly than be able to breathe underwater. **Be able to talk to animals or be able to speak every language.** Being able to communicate with animals would be a dream come true for any animal lover like me. Taking a bath would not be as bad as it could have been. They would be simple to train. In a broader sense, I'd know how they felt and what they thought about how people treated them, which would allow me to ease or lessen their pain. It'd be amazing to be the next Dr. DoLittle, lol! **Have one wish granted today or three wishes granted in 10 years' time.** Tomorrow is not guaranteed. I'm not sure if I'll be able to wake up and live another day. So I'd rather have my wish granted right now. And that wish would be for my daughter to have a bright future. I want her to have the best things in life; to be successful in everything she does while remaining humble and sharing her blessings with those in need. Having said that, I intend to depart from this world with a grateful and happy heart. -- And that would be all, guys! You can also answer these questions if you run out of topics. Writing prompts such as these really help. Until the next reading! Date Published: April 30, 2022

Fill in the _______ Source https://images.app.goo.gl/GCLc1UHWYfHg5mXUA My favorite time of the year is ****Christmas Day.**** for the reason that people from different walks of life are so kind when that day comes. It is also the time when families get reunited with their loved ones. When I was a kid, I got so excited on Christmas Day because of the gifts I got from my godfather and grandmother, but now, what matters most to me is being reunited with my family.  I am important because ****I am ME.**** I don't think that there is a better answer to that. I am me, regardless of how I look or how I carry myself. People should never judge me because I am an important being in this cruel world, Charr! If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to ****South Korea.**** Just like I always say in my previous articles, I would love to go to South Korea. To experience their culture and have a taste of their delicious cuisine. I also want to wear a "hanbok," their traditional costume. I'd like to know how I'd look wearing it. And of course, to see my oppa, lol! My favorite song is "****I have none."**** I do not have any particular songs that I can consider my favorites. Whatever is on trend and suits my taste in songs, I will listen to it many times. My favorite tongue twister is, ****"She sells seashells on the seashore."**** This became my favorite because I remember when I was in third grade, I was a transferee, and I still have a Bisaya accent. So when my English teacher told me to recite it in front of everyone, I was overjoyed. But it was so funny because my Bisaya accent prevailed, lol! After that, my classmates teased me like "bisaya," but I took it as a challenge and practiced every day. And so, when my teacher told me once again to recite it in front of the class, I did it perfectly. One thing I believe I do really well is ****cooking.**** I remember my Lola told me that I should learn how to cook because when I become a wife someday, how would I be able to feed my family if I don't know how to cook? And so, I became passionate about learning how to cook. I always looked at her every time she cooked for the family. And I made my first dish when I was in fifth grade. I cooked mung beans in our home economics class, and my teachers loved them. Good day, everyone! It is the last Friday of the month. Are you ready for the coming month of May? Me do, me do, lol! I am really hoping that BCH will have its ATH again next month. I know, we all hope that it will, but let's not get our hopes too high. Anyway, my brain cells are slowly depleting nowadays, that I only survived by having an article a day but totally relying on writing prompts. So please bear with me. It is not easy to have a topic to write about every day, especially if you have been on this platform for more than a year. And so, for today's article, it is about filling in the blanks. I read @Winx1988 article yesterday, and so I tried it for myself, and I had fun. https://read.cash/@Winx1988/completing-sentences-3b138c89    And that would be all for today. Thank you for sticking with me til the end. Until next reading! -- Date Published: April 29, 2022 Lead Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/GCLc1UHWYfHg5mXUA

And They Call It Puppy Love *First and foremost, I'd like to thank* @meitanteikudo*for hosting this writing prompt again. You saved my life today, man. I can say that you are a man of a writing prompt....* His most recent writing prompt is about crushes. I actually have several articles that I saved prior to this one, but this got me so excited that I am going to try this first. I'm sure most of you do or was it just me who gets excited when we talk about our previous love. Anyway, the writing prompt has very simple instructions. We just have to talk about your crush, or crushes, if you have many. When I was in elementary school, for the first time in my life, my eyes twinkled for someone. His name is Erwin. He was tall for his age, and he stood out among my classmates. He had fair skin and thick, long eyelashes. He is also very friendly, especially to girls, because I can always see him with other girls from different sections. By the way, we belong to the lowest section, Section 9. I don't know why, but when you are a transferee, you will be put in the lowest section. As a transferee, I was very shy and distanced myself from my classmates. I feared that they would tease me because I am Bisaya. But then there was this young boy who approached me and said, "Can you scoot over"? I was literally shaking when I moved slowly. I feel so kilig, lol! Then he started asking my name and where I came from. I answered him sheepishly. That was the first day of my infatuation, lol! Every day I am so excited about going to school that even if I am not feeling well, I want to go, and it is all because of Erwin. And you know, when you have a crush on one of your classmates, you have this desire to excel in your class, to show off just to be noticed by him. And it worked! I stood out among our class, and Erwin always complimented me every time I got a perfect score or answered well in recitation. We get closer every day because Erwin is so friendly, but naughty at times. He would hide my bag and keep it from me until I was about to burst into tears. At that point, he would return my bag. There were several times that he would tease me, but instead of getting mad at him, I felt so kilig pa, lol! There was a time when my teacher suggested that she would transfer me to section 4 if I wanted to, because, according to her, I do not belong in that section, but I refused, because I can't see Erwin anymore, lol! I had a memorable moment with him that I can recall vividly even now. It was after class. Our class ends at 4:30 pm and we play on the school grounds until our service arrives. I was playing with my cousin and sister. We were playing "Tag, You're it." Then Erwin came. I guess he was bored waiting for his service too. So he asked if he could join, and of course, I said yes. We were having a great time playing. Then when he was the "It' he ran and tried to catch me.(enebe), lol! And I sped off like there was no tomorrow, hahaha! Then suddenly, I stumbled in the gutter and my elbow snapped, it got dislocated. I cried so loudly that Erwin kept on apologizing while crying too. When I got home, I was brought immediately to the "manghihilot" and, man, how he fixed my elbow was terribly, awfully, excruciatingly painful. He just pulled it so hard until it was back in its right place. So just imagine the pain. I did not attend school until I was fully recovered. After that, Erwin became extra nice to me. I guess he felt guilty about what happened. And it's a wrap! I wanted to tell you more, but that's all my mind could remember. Feel free to share the moment you had your first crush. @Pachuchay

High School Thug Life? I've written several articles about my experiences in high school. The majority of them are question-and-answer formats. And my article today will be a new set of questions that I found in the @joydigitalsolutions article. https://read.cash/@joydigitalsolutions/highschool-thug-life-can-you-relate-36741b87 Photo Source https://www.pinterest.ph/pin/626281891944306407/ The shaded ones will be the questions that I choose to answer because I have not yet answered them or shared my experiences with them. So, without further ado, let's begin. **Always Late** I think it is acceptable that I am always late because our school is far from our house. I lived in Floodway Taytay Rizal and attended school in Angono Rizal. Okay, no more excuses. I had the funny experience of being late. One time, we had a long quiz in our second subject, and I was late. If you are late, you can no longer enter the school premises. And did my classmates help me get in? Since our classroom was located at the back, they told me to climb up the whole thing. I was hesitant at first, but then the long quiz motivated me to do it. And so I threw my bag on the other side of the fence and climbed the wall. But when I was about to jump inside, my skirt got stuck in the rod and so it was ripped. My classmates were laughing at me and cheering for me at the same time. I feel so embarrassed, but what's done is done. I just brushed it off like nothing happened and promised not to be late again. And the next morning, I was late again. HAHAHA! **Going to the restroom with friends** I think I can count on my fingers the number of times that I went to the restroom in our school in my entire high school. It is because it is so disgusting. It stinks and you can see that no one dared clean it. The school had a janitor, but I don't know why it was never cleaned. There was a time when someone set the restroom on fire so that it could be renovated. That's what we've heard during that time, but whoever did it, I should thank him because, after that, the restroom was renovated. **Your name under the noisy list.** A-L=W-A-Y-S! I am always on top of the list, lol! To quiet me down, my teacher would sometimes assign me the task of listing the names of those who are loud. And it was the hardest task in my entire high school life, lol! **Always borrowing pen in class** I think I've only done it twice or thrice (I can't remember actually) but not always because that is so annoying, especially on the part of the person being borrowed from. I knew the feeling because most of my classmates always borrowed my pen, or, most of the time, paper! When our teacher would say that there would be a quiz, their eyes were all on me and I knew the meaning of it. That they needed paper, lol! **Skipped Prom** No, why would I? When it was the only time that I could be with my crush and hold him close to me, charrr! hahaha! I think you will miss half of your high school life if you skip prom. Because for me, prom is one of the highlights of high school life.  -- And that would be all. By the way, I'm relieved thay noise.cash is back on track. We were all very worried about what happened yesterday. And now, we know what it feels like if noise.cash comes to an end. But I was wondering what could have caused the chaos because there was no update from the admin about what might have caused it? Anyway, let's continue making noise and support the platform the way it has helped us in our daily life.. Date Published: April 27, 2022

@Pachuchay

Contingency Plan Today, the noise.cash community was shaken up by what they called "the bug". It seems like users cannot post or comment, and I am one of them. At first, I was worried that my account was the problem—that it had been banned. But then I received a message from @Usagi and @imanagrcltrst, asking if I was experiencing problems with noise, so it was not just me and I was relieved. Up to this moment of writing, I could not post or comment. I was wondering what the problem could be. I hope, at the end of the day, it will be resolved. And because of this, a thought came to my mind. Actually, I read Yen's article about her plan B if ever Noise.cash and read.cash comes to an end. Well, of course, we don't want that to happen, but still, it is better to have a contingency plan. I have several "contingency plans" prepared in case our worst nightmare happens. Photo Source https://images.app.goo.gl/sXZ87wnnDhwuQtaJ6 -- **GCASH CASH IN/CASH OUT** I first thought about this when I found out that one of the stores in our subdivision has a Gcash Cash In/Cash Out machine. The charge for every transaction is 2% of the total amount. So let's say I wanted to cash out one thousand pesos. The fee would be twenty pesos. I think it is an acceptable fee, especially if you need the money right away.  To be able to start this, I should have at least five thousand pesos on hand and another five thousand pesos in my Gcash account. I told my husband about my plan, but he was against it. Well, not totally. I think, with a little persuasion, I can have his full support.  **Wifi Vendo** I have been meaning to get this because not everyone has wifi in their area. Most of the time, kids were hovering in front of our house and would ask my husband if they could connect to our wifi. Of course, that's a no-no. So I thought, why not have a wifi vendo? I began looking for a wifi vendo online, specifically on Lazada, and the prices ranged from nine to thirteen thousand pesos. I think with a month or two of hustling, I can have the said amount.  **Sari-Sari Store** This is number one on my list. I actually planned to do this last January, but because of the neverending expenses of my medicine and my husband's being unemployed, I was not able to do it. But now that he is working again, there is a possibility that I can start it. Then gcash cash in/cash out would follow and so would the piso wifi vendo. **Try other blogging sites/platforms** There may be some blogging sites or platforms that I really want to try, like Hive and Publishox, but I am not confident enough to do it. I think those platforms need a higher level of intelligence, meaning you need to be a professional writer. I remember Eylz convinced me to join the hive and that she would support me, but still, I don't know if I can do it or not. But if ever, I will try and see how it goes. I will never know if I can do it unless I try. But this will be the last thing on my list in my contingency plans. We all hope that both platforms can last forever, but what happened today in the noise.cash frightened me and made me think, "What if this is the beginning of the end?" Okay, enough with this, lol! I only scare myself, but you can't blame me. It has been long enough that many users have doubts already. Hopefully, at the end of the day, things will be sorted out. How about you guys? Do you have some sort of contingency plan? Why don't you tell us more about it? -- Date Published: April 26, 2022

@Pachuchay

Is there a problem with noise.cash? I can't post and my feed show posts from 3 hours ago.. Anyone?

@Pachuchay

Good Old Days Hello everyone! I am back again and this time, magtatagalog muna tayo. I'm pretty sure kayo din eh naexperience to. And eto pa, ang random tip back. Anyway, yan yun time na kada heart mo sa isang post eh meron kang tip back and random din and also the amount. Halos lahat eh may kanya-kanyang post about sa update. On fire ang noise noon eh kaya minsan eh traffic hahaha! Naalala ko si @jiroshin dati sa post nya, and it goes like this...."Kalmado na ba ang lahat?" hahaha! and I remember na nagcomment ako noon na..."Parang nasa palengke lang eh." That was the time na nag-iipon ako for my daughter's graduation gift. Nasa $1000 na lang yata sya noon and that was in the month of June, correct me if I'm wrong, yung 8 thousand pesos ko eh naging 6 thousand pesos na lang. But I am still happy with that kasi nabili ko yun gift ko for my daughter which is drawing tablet. Ahay ngayon, wala pa yatang two thousand pesos. Hay life, parang buhay. Nothing is permanent talaga kundi change. Nevertheless, I am eternally grateful to both platforms, noise and read, because it open me to different opportunities to earn money online. Oh sya, I will end it here na. Nagugutom na anak ko, hahaha! Lutuin ko na daw ang maruya. Thanks for reading guys! I love you all!

Be Kind but Be Wise Have you ever tried borrowing money online? How was it? Did you pay it on time or have you experienced being posted on Facebook just because you did not pay your debt on time? Two days ago, my sister called me to tell me what was happening in Tita Ging's family. She is my father's sister. My sister told me that one of Tita Ging's sons was so mad at her because her face was posted on Facebook with a caption that said, "Di nagbabayad ng utang, wag tularan." I immediately checked the group chat and there I saw the messages from Nikko, about how mad he was about what happened. Most of the words were so disrespectful toward her mother, so I intervened. I asked him what happened, and he told me everything. Eventually, Tita Ging borrowed money online, but the money was not for her but for their neighbor. That neighbor asked her to borrow money on the said app on her behalf. Tita Ging trusted her neighbor because she was a good friend and they had known each other for years. At first, that neighbor was paying her debt on time, but after that, she ran off, like gone in the neighborhood. My Tita was left with her debt, and the creditors kept calling her. And then that thing happened, her face was all over Facebook. I understand my cousin, but what I hated about it was that he deliberately disrespected his mother, so I gave him an earful that led to an argument, a very hot argument. I just can't stand that he was throwing bad words at his mother. Tita Ging is a very kind and soft-spoken woman. Maybe that's the reason why she was put in this kind of situation, humiliated at the expense of others. I called my Tita after I had an argument with his son. I asked her why she allowed her name to be used in a lending app. She said that she felt pity for that woman and so she helped. That woman borrowed five thousand pesos and it grew to eight thousand because of the interest. And because my Tita has no work and her husband is on dialysis, she was not able to pay the debt that was not hers. She was crying the whole time we were talking because she was so stressed about what happened and did not think that her son would do that to her. All she wanted to do was help. I told her that I would send her money if I had spare or extra, but she declined. She said I needed it more for my medicine. I told her that it is okay because my husband has a job now and I am earning online by blogging. We ended our call, and I cried after it. I pity my Tita. Ever since I was small, she is so kind to me and never pinched me, unlike my other titas. I really wanted to help her the best way I could. -- I hope this will serve as a lesson to those who are so kind and generous. Know your limitations, guys. It is okay to help, but you should also think, especially if your name is on the line.  By the way, my cousin called that creditor, and he told them that they would sue them for doing that. It is against the law. And then they tried calling that number again, but it couldn't be reached.    -- Date Published: April 24, 2022 Lead Image from Unsplash

Random Stuff To Make Up Hi guys, how's everyone? We are experiencing terrible weather here on our end. Could we please have the rainy season back? Anyway, I was not able to publish an article yesterday because I had a terrible headache. I woke up with a slight headache, but as the day progressed, so did my headache. I took paracetamol, which helped, but the headache returned after a while. With that being said, I have been so inactive on both platforms. I think I just made a few posts in the noise and have not read an article yet. I barely managed to race my pega. Well, it does not require me to be in front of my laptop, so it was fine and not that hard for me. Then, my husband called at noon to check on us, and I told him that I was having a terrible headache, so he said that he would go home. So, after a couple of hours, he was home and very worried about me. I told him that he did not have to go home because I was fine, but he said he had to check his other work, so he just grabbed the chance.  Then I sent a message to my doctor and told her that I was having a terrible headache, and she said that it was a side effect of the new medicine that she prescribed, but if the headache persisted, she told me to go to the hospital right away. I was terrified. It's a good thing that I felt better at night and woke up feeling much better. I think my body has adjusted to the meds already. My daughter was asking me if she could go with her friends yesterday, but because I was not feeling well, and so she told her friends that she could not go with them. But I can sense that she really wanted to because it has been a while since she went out with them. So I told her that she could if she really wanted, and then she asked me if I was feeling okay already. I told her that the pain was manageable and that she could go. But she opted not to. And so, when her father was home, she asked me again if she could, but I was hesitant to say yes because it was late afternoon already.  So what she did was she asked her friends to message me so that I would let her go with them. They were so persistent that I said yes. Kids nowadays have their own way of persuading their parents. Anyway, I just let her be with them and told her that she should be home at 8. And that her father would fetch her and that she should keep her line open always. They went to "People's Park" in Baybay and they had fun. One of her friends would be leaving for Iloilo next week, so it was her so-called farewell party. This is very saddening news for our family. This morning, my tita informed me that Tita Bing's husband died. It was not an unexpected death because last year, he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and his days were numbered. But still, it is very painful for the family, especially for her wife and children. And he was so young at the age of 45. There was no one to blame for why he died at such a young age but himself. He was known in our place as a drug user and an alcoholic. He abused his body and did not mind his health. One thing that I like about him, though, is that he is a good provider for his family. If, and only if, he takes good care of his health. Anyway, that's life. We are all going to face our end, but it just so happened that he faced his first. -- And so I will wrap this up here. This is just random stuff that happened to me yesterday, and I hope it can make up for my absence. Thank you guys for sticking by me until the end. -- Date Published: April 23, 2022 All photos are mine unless stated otherwise.

My Wallet is Empty but My Heart is Happy Today, I went to Saint Anthony for my follow-up checkup with Dra. Jordan, and I am happy with the result. But before I disclose everything, let me start this article by sharing how my day started. I woke up early because I had to finish my chores before 9 in the morning. My appointment was at 10 in the morning, so I should be able to finish everything before 9 to give myself enough time to prepare. My husband has to work today, so my daughter will accompany me. I was planning to go alone, but she insisted on coming with me because she would treat me to lunch in SM. But for all I know, she just wanted to go to SM and roam around. We arrived at the hospital at exactly 9:45 a.m. I asked the guard where the OPD department was and he directed me to it. Unlike Emmanuel Hospital, where my last check-up with Dra. Jordan was, I did not fill out forms and I just went straight to the reception area. After a few questions, I was directed to Dra. Jordan's office, where her secretary, Miss Jane, was already there.  After checking my name on the list of names that had an appointment with Dra. Jordan, I was told to wait outside because the doctor was not yet there. I did not mind waiting because the whole area was air-conditioned and, while we were waiting, my daughter was busy reading manhwa while I was watching Korean dramas that I downloaded on my phone last night. After a few moments, Miss Jane called me, and when I entered, Dra. Jordan was already there and welcomed me. I love her aura. She has this very approachable aura.  "*Hello, how are you feeling now*?" She asked.  *"I feel okay, Doc, although there were times that I had trouble eating, but after a few minutes, I am fine."* She told me that it was normal. I would feel that from time to time, and she told me if it continued for a long time, I should call her immediately. She then asked me about the lab result and I handed it to her.  She explained it to me, one by one. She explained it in such a way that I understood it right away. After everything that needed to be done, she asked me if I had set an appointment for RNS. And I told her not yet, but I would do it soonest. At the same time, she said that I have to do the chest CT scan, and if I have enough money, I can do it at the same time. She changed some of my prescriptions. She removed the Prednisone and replaced it with another one. She also prescribed me a multivitamin to strengthen my immune system. Then she told me to go back after 2 months. I should just follow her prescriptions and everything would be just fine for me.  After the check up, we head straight to SM mall. It is newly opened so my daughter was so excited. We roamed around and did some window shopping, that's all that we could do because we don't have enough money, lol! We went from one store to another, just looking. And y daughter took a snap of me while I was looking for a mug. I find it cute and also the words printed on it, but the price is not cute, it cost 200 pesos of $4, damn! After some window shopping, we went to Jollibee to have our lunch but there was a long queue, so I told her that we should eat at Jollibee Gaisano instead. So we walk a few kilometers to go to Gaisano and I was already famished and so was my daughter. We ordered chicken and sundae and were so satisfied with it. I am so thankful that everything is fine. Today, I may be exhausted but was so happy with the result and had a bonding moment with my daughter. My wallet may be empty but my heart is happy.... -- Date Published: April 21, 2022 All photos are mine unless stated otherwise.

Words That Save The Day Good day, everyone. How are you doing today? I'm completely exhausted like super-duper exhausted. I had to get up early in the morning to do my laundry before it grew taller than I was. I prefer to wash my clothes by hand, especially white ones. I'm not happy with the outcome of my washing machine. Anyway, my daughter cleaned our house while I was doing laundry. I told her she couldn't because she was still sick. She was sick with a fever and a itchy throat. She claimed, however, that staying in bed made her feel worse. She also needed to go somewhere. They had a group meeting about their case study. I reminded her to eat breakfast before leaving and to take her medication. Speaking of medicine, I had to go to several branches of Mercury Drugstore in Roxas City yesterday to get my prescriptions. I was fortunate enough to find the third branch on McKinley Street, but there are only five pieces left. That should suffice until tomorrow. And because I have a monthly check-up with Dra. Jordan tomorrow, I need to **CONVERT** my BCH into our fiat currency. I'm just happy that BCH is turning green, and I'm still hoping for a little more. For more than 5 months, I've been battling my illness. I am experiencing financial and emotional difficulties. I'll have to deal with it for the rest of my life, unfortunately. I recall what my previous physician said to me. He told me that I was still young and that I had a long way to go in dealing with my current situation. He specifically stated that I have 40 more years to deal with it because I am only 42 years old. Does that mean that I only have 40 years left? But I am fine with it. I am slowly accepting my fate. I know that God has a reason why he put me in a situation that would question my faith. And I am not in a **POSITION** to ask him why, although there were many times I asked him why. Why did it have to be me? I know I am not a saint, but I am not a bad person either. But then again, I realize that I don't have the right to question Him because I only acknowledge His presence when I am in deep shit, but when he answers my prayers, I **FORGET** to praise him. I can't even remember the last time I attended a **MASS**. The very ungrateful me. But I know that God will not forsake me and he will help me to achieve **VICTORY** against all odds. I tried another thing from a random word generator. I got the idea from Jane's article, which I read the other day. I had to make a story out of the words given to me, and I hope I did well. lol! You can also try it. Just click this and you'll be redirected to the random word generator. Have fun! https://randomwordgenerator.com/ -- Date Published: April 20,2022

Grumpy Old Man **Do you ever feel like you are about to explode because of someone?**  I was a busy bee today. I had to wake up early because my husband needed to be early at work. So with that being said, I was so exhausted because I had to do everything. My daughter had a fever last night, so I told her to rest more.  Then there is this old man who really pisses me off. I took my dog out for a walk to do his business (poop). With no other way, I had to pass in front of his house. And while me and my dog were in front of his house, he started cursing, spitting bad words that not even a dog could digest. "* I'd rather not translate it into English because it is so bad. So I was like, "What the hell?" I was the only one passing at that time, me and my dog, so I know that he was pertaining to me. But I ignored him because I didn't want to ruin my day. When we headed back home, I could see that he was still there, in front of his house. If only there was another route so that we wouldn't be passing by his house, we would, but sadly, there is no other way.  And so there he goes again, spitting bad words as we were about to pass in front of him. So I asked him as nicely as I could. If he had a problem with me and my dog, then he started saying things like, "My dogs were pooping in front of his house and we did not care at all." I told him that we are not the only ones who own a dog. In fact, there are many stray dogs in our neighborhood, and I do not let my dogs roam outside. But he insisted that it was our dogs who were responsible for the poops, and so I was like, "Give me proof then." Show me some proof and I'd gladly clean up every poop in front of your house every day.  After I said that, he went inside his house without saying anything.  I am not being disrespectful because he is a friend of my father-in-law. In fact, they are best buddies, as far as I know. So I have no idea what is his issue with us. This is not the first time we have had a confrontation over the same issue. They had CCTV that could prove that it wasn't my dog. So I know for sure that he is wrong with his accusations.  I kept it secret from my husband because, knowing him, he would definitely confront the old man, and that could lead to a bigger problem.  He was not like that before. He was friendly to us and even helped us when he was the Barangay Captain. So I have no idea what made him that way.  Anyway, I just let it pass and am hoping that it won't happen again. I will avoid him as much as possible because I know that if there will be a next time, I am not sure if I could still be patient towards his attitude. -- Date Published: April 19,2022 Lead Image from Unsplash

Love Shouldn't Hurt **Aya** Aya is one of my godchildren. She is the daughter of my tita, my father's sister. She has two beautiful daughters. One is 6 years old, and the youngest is 5 years old. Yesterday, when my sister called, she mentioned that Aya was still in her house and was left there intentionally by her mother to keep her away from her abusive and drunken husband. According to what my sister told me, Aya has been beaten by her husband many times, especially when he is drunk. And they had been brought to their barangay captain every time they were fighting, and even their barangay was sick of them fighting. They had been separated many times, but Aya still went back to her husband. So their last resort was to bring Aya to Bataan because she could not easily go back to her husband.  **Ate Wilma** I met Ate Wilma when I was sixteen. She is related to my Tita's husband and had to stay in their house for days because she was beaten up by her husband. That left bruises on some parts of her body. She even had a black eye. I got a chance to talk to her one time when we were left alone at the house. I was watching TV when she approached and started talking to me while she was crying. I suppose she felt the need to vent to me about everything. So I was listening to her, then I asked her why she let her husband beat her up. And why did she have to endure everything? Then I heard the craziest thing of my life. According to her, her husband is kind when he is not drunk. That he is a thoughtful husband. That he loves him so much that she can endure anything because, for her, he is her everything. At that time, it sounded so cheesy to me. Then I asked her again how often her husband gets drunk. And she said, "Every day." As in, what the fuck? He beats her only when he was drunk and he was drunk every day. Seriously? At that time, I didn't know how to react, so I just kept my silence and let her cry until her eyes dried out. -- Why am I sharing this? Last week, I read @meitanteikudo's article about domestic violence. You can check out his article here. According to VAWC (Violence Against Women and Children), **one in four Filipino women aged 15-49 has experienced physical, emotional, or sexual violence by their husband or partner**. Source https://read.cash/@meitanteikudo/hit-me-baby-one-more-time-dont-a4cf756a https://pcw.gov.ph/violence-against-women/ In this part, I will be using taglish na because I think I could explain ng mas maayos if I use Taglish(Tagalog English) so please bear with me. Disclaimer: I am not an expert. I am just sharing my thoughts about the issue. What could be the reasons, bakit di maiwan iwan ng mga babae yung mga asawa nila kahit ginagawa na silang punching bag? Let's make Aya as na example. When I talked to her, I ask her bakit sya nagtitiis sa asawa nya. And isa pa, bukod sa pag-iinom eh may iba pa itong bisyo? So by what Aya told me, isa sa mga reason eh yung pagiging dependent natin sa mga asawa natin, financially and emotionally. For me that is wrong, we should not think that way. She worked hard to give her son a good future even if that means that she had to be far from him. And with Ate Wilma naman, I really don't know how to react noong sinabi nya na mabait naman daw ang asawa nya kapag di nakainom and when I asked her kung gaano kadalas mag-inom asawa nya, everyday daw. So everyday eh ginagawa syang punching bag. So katangahan ba matatawag yun, kamartiran? Oh my gosh! that is totally absurd! I know, some would react na madali lang sabihin kasi wala naman tayo sa sitwasyon nila. Easier said than done, ika nga. But hey girls, we should not think that way. We are responsible for our own happiness. Bilib me, nakakaganda sya, lol! This is just my opinion guys, baka kasi may matrigger sa mga pinagsasabi ko, HAHAHA! Anyways, you can share our thoughts about the issue din. Leave it in the comment section para pag-usapan natin. -- Date Published: April 18, 2022 Lean Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/NqpyZgtHjWSPYoMH8

My Day Explained in Fewer than 600 Characters Hello Lovelies, how's your day? Today is Easter Sunday, and most of you went to church to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. To be honest, I haven't been to church in years, and I'm not proud of it. Anyway, my sister called this morning. She said that she just got back home from their outing with the whole family. I asked her if Mama went with them too, but she said no, because no one would look after the farm. My mother is so stubborn. I told her to go with them for some relaxation, but she is not fond of get-togethers or family gatherings. That's how she is, and so be it. After our call, I got out of bed to prepare our breakfast. I wanted to go to the beach today, but my husband had to finish his sideline because he is needed at work tomorrow. He went to work after we had breakfast, and I was left to do all the chores. Unlike before, my husband was the one who did all the cleaning while he let me rest, but that's not the case anymore now that he has work. It took me 2 hours to finish everything, and while I was cleaning, I was already thinking of what to post next on noise.cash, lol! Then I heard someone yelling "Silhig" outside. Silhig is a local term for broomstick. I went out and called the young boy. I was surprised upon seeing him because he was small, like he had a thin body. I asked him how much his broomsticks were and he said 30 pesos each. Then my neighbors gathered around and asked the boy if he could give them some sort of discount. I told them to stop asking for a discount because of how the boy has to walk for miles under the basking heat of the sun just to sell the broomstick and they have the nerve to ask for one. I bought one from the boy, and I will use it inside the house. The broomstick we had was already worn out, so I needed a new one. Then, before I handed the boy the money, I asked him if I could take a picture of him, but he declined, a big no. He even got mad when I insisted. Hahaha! He thanked me when I handed him my payment and off he went, yelling once again, "Silhig". I admire those kinds of kids. At a very young age, he knew how hard life was and was willing to sacrifice his youth in order to help his parents earn money. I felt embarrassed because what I was doing when I was 9 years old was far from what the boy was doing. I only knew how to escape from Lola just to play with my friends outside. I hope the boy will be able to sell all those broomsticks he was carrying on his back. Anyway, 30 minutes from now, I will go to the market with my daughter to buy a new bag for my husband that he will be using at work. I need to look for a bigger bag that can hold a blanket and clothes because he will be staying at his work to save time. . . . . So I guess I'll have to wrap this up now. Thank you for sticking with me until the end. Date Published: April 17,2022 Lead Image from Unsplash

Do You Prefer Baths or Showers? Source https://www.pinterest.ph/pin/70437486055064/feedback/?invite_code=b98c9bcfb12b4042a570be74c81babcd&sender_id=626282029339795937 **Do you prefer writing with a black or blue pen?** I prefer black since it is required when filling out forms. But I used to use a blue pen in my elementary days. When you reach grade four, you are now required to use a ballpen. I used to have a red pen as well. I used it when writing titles or when checking test papers. **If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?** Sleeping while working, lol! Is that even possible? Hahaha! But if there is such a skill, then why not? I bet everyone would want to have that skill. **Do you prefer baths or showers?** Wait, is there a difference between the two? Let me check Google first......Oh okay, now I know the difference, hahaha! I am just an ignorant that doesn't know that they have different meanings, lol! So, according to Google, **"bath" means soaking your body in a tub filled with water to clean yourself, while "shower" means standing under a spray of water to clean yourself.** So I preferred showering because I don't have a bathtub, but I wanted to experience soaking my body in a tub filled with soapy water while listening to my favorite music and drinking wine. Char! **What is your favorite item of clothing?** That would be sleeveless. No matter what weather we have, I'd still wear sleeveless. Either I will go to the mall or the market. I feel more comfortable wearing it and I feel refreshed. **Do you consider yourself romantic?** Yeah, I believe so because, according to my husband and even my exes, I am passionate and very thoughtful. I like to express my feelings through action, and I guess that's what makes me romantic. **Tell us about an early childhood memory.** I have shared some of my childhood memories in some of my articles, but this one I have not shared yet. Every summer, Tito, my mother's older brother, would always bring me to their house in Makilala. We live in Toril, and my Tito lives in Makilala. I was only six at that time, and I did not know how far it was, but as far as I could remember, the travel was quite long. My Tito was a truck driver. He used to drive ten-wheeler trucks, and I had fun riding them. I'd spend the weekend there, and he'd drive me home before school started. What I love about their place are the rivers and lakes. We always had a picnic beside the rivers, and I remember one time we caught small shrimp and crabs in the river. And there was also a time that I almost drowned, but my Tito was so quick that he jumped off to where I was and saved me. Then he told me not to tell my mother about it, lol! My mother would beat him to death if she found out about it. Until now, it remained our secret. **Do you address older people by their first or last name?** Here in the Philippines, we call older people "Manang or Manong, Ate or Kuya." We don't call them by their first or last name because it is considered disrespectful. Although in some other countries, calling older people by their first name or last name is normal.  **Where do you feel the safest?** I feel the safest when I'm with my husband because I know that no matter what happens, he will always protect me and would even give his life for me. He told me that, hehe.   Good day read-tizens! How did you spend Holy Week? Most of you, for sure, are still at the beach or somewhere else enjoying the long weekend. As for me, I spent the weekend doing what I normally do. My husband and I don't get the chance to go to the beach because my husband is busy with his sideline. It needs to be done before Monday because he has work in Jamindan and will stay there the whole week. Anyway, I am so tired today that I can't focus on writing, but I had to publish an article today because I was not able to publish it last Thursday. I have many saved articles in my account, and so that's what I wrote today. I read it from @joydigitalsolutions article and she found the questions from this link. https://www.pinterest.ph/pin/70437486055064/feedback/?invite_code=b98c9bcfb12b4042a570be74c81babcd&sender_id=626282029339795937 Thanks for reading guys and enjoy the rest of the week! -- Date Published: April 16, 2022 Lead Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/WeynJuFUYSfr95RYA

Good Friday: Memories and Beliefs Good day, everyone! Today is Good Friday, a very important day for us Christians. It is the day when Jesus Christ was crucified to save us from our sins. So I know that most of you are making the most of it by going to a good place for relaxation, but let us not forget the true meaning of the Lenten season, and that is to reflect on our sins. -- My day began early this morning. I had to save water that would be used the whole day because it has been four days since our water supply has not been back to normal. We only had water early morning, and it would only last for a couple of hours, so we had to wake up early to save some. Then I was supposed to cook the "pambansang food" for this holy week, which is "witwit, bilobilo, binignit." It consists of bananas, sweet potatoes, taro, or sago, and sticky rice cooked in coconut milk. But because I did not know that remittance centers were closed today, I was not able to withdraw the BCH that I converted into our fiat. So cooking binignit was out of the picture, and we'll have boiled sweet potatoes for our snack instead. I remember when I was a kid, my Lola was so busy preparing different foods that would be shared with everyone every Holy Week. It was like her "panata" to share food with everyone. I remember that we had to go to the mountain to dig sweet potatoes, cassava, and pick bananas along the way. While my cousins and I were picking dry wood to be used for cooking. Then my titos had to climb for coconuts. If they got lucky, they would have macapuno for us on our way home. Most of the time, my Lola would prepare suman, or sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, bukayo, biko, and binignit. She would start cooking it on Thursday and finish it early on Friday morning. I enjoyed every moment of it because it felt like we were having a feast. Then we would deliver the food to every neighbor, and sometimes we were given something in return, like what we called "lamaw" in Bisaya. It is a Filipino dessert or refreshment made from scraped young coconut meat in coconut water with sugar or condensed milk and biscuits. Photo Source https://images.app.goo.gl/nHMGg2aLmdqYkduQA It may look gross, but I can assure you that this tastes so good. I also grew up believing some superstitious beliefs during Holy Week. The first one was that I should **not cut or injure myself during Good Friday** because, according to them, it would not be healed. One time, I was playing with my cousin when he accidentally pushed me and I bruised my knee. I cried so hard, thinking that the bruises would stay forever, the bleeding wouldn't stop, and then I would die. My Lola had to console me until I fell asleep while crying. The second one was that it is **forbidden to take a bath after 3 pm** because Jesus Christ is already dead. I don't know the reason behind it, but until now, every Good Friday, I have taken a bath earlier than usual and it should not be after 3 pm, lol! The last one was that after 3 pm, bad spirits, elements, or spirits from the other side were roaming around freely and would hurt us because Jesus was dead and no one would protect us from them. I don't know if you have heard it, but I grew up believing in that belief. Regardless, my cousins and I would play outside until dark, playing hide and seek and sharing ghost stories until everyone was terrified and ran home, lol! Gosh, I miss those days. I don't know if those beliefs were still present at this time. But I doubt it because people nowadays celebrate the Lenten Season differently than in our generation. Regardless of how we celebrate this Good Friday, let us not forget the true meaning of it. Have a blessed Good Friday! Foodie Blog: This or That Finally, after nearly three days of nonstop rain brought on by Typhoon Agaton, we have clear skies here in Capiz. However, there are still areas that are submerged in water, and as a result, we have been without water for two days. I'd rather not have electricity than not have water. Just imagine, you are called by nature, but you cannot do your business because there's no water. The struggle is real! According to the MRWD, they are unable to operate at full capacity due to the turbidity of the Panay River source caused by widespread flooding caused by Typhoon Agaton. And since our area is on higher ground or elevated, we are one of the affected consumers who have no water supply. Okay, so until when, seriously, we have no water to drink anymore. Okay, enough with my rants. I'm just venting my frustrations here. Let's get to the main topic of this article. And it's all about food. Is it just me, or do you also pig out when the weather is cold? Why is it that it is so hard to resist food when it rains? LOL! That's what I have been doing for three days, pigging out. My belly fat is undeniable proof, hehe. Anyways, I have been reading a prompt about food, "The This and That; Food Edition." But before I decided to join in the craze, I had to double-check to make sure I had not done this before because I've done a lot of writing prompts and don't want to repeat my article. --- **Pizza or Pasta?** Pizza! I love pizza so much that I can eat a box of pizza in one sitting. I am not a fan of pasta. I mean, I ate it but could not fully consume a whole serving. The only pasta dishes that I love are macaroni salad, lasagna, and mac and cheese. - **Ice cream or cake?** Why choose when I can have both, Ice cream cake! Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/dg5LKpR6LfU76Kd98 People nowadays are so talented in baking that they can bake 2 of our fave in one product, example of it is an Ice cream cake. But have not tried it pa, so sooner please, hehe. - **Waffles or pancakes?** I only get the chance to eat waffles every time I go to the mall, and that is once in a blue moon, lol! Kidding aside, I don't usually go out that much. So I chose pancakes because I know how to make them. - **Rice or noodles?** We live in a country where rice is a staple food, so "kanins is life." I can't live without kanin or rice, so I salute those who have no rice diet. I also tried it, but it only lasted for three months. But yes, it greatly affects my weight. But just like @chelle02 I also experienced eating corn rice, or milled corn as rice. I had it when we visited my Lola (on my mother's side). They had no rice back then, so they used milled corn as their rice. I did not like it at first, but I got used to it because I had no choice but to eat it. It was not actually that bad. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the rough texture. Now that I remember it, I suddenly miss eating corn rice or milled corn. Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/xDMSNLyZuRu9VmeHA - **Vegetables or fruits?** When I was a child, I didn't eat vegetables. My mother had to force me to eat it. But now I love vegetables, and we can eat them every day. Unlike fruits, we cannot have them daily because, as you know, how pricey fruits have become nowadays, so we only have them occasionally. - **Spicy or sweet?** I like sweet things because I have a sweet tooth. Although spicy foods can entice you to eat more, I think I will have to choose both na lang, haha! Okay, let me share a funny story that happened to me when I ate spicy food. This happened four years ago when my friend Madel sent me a spicy Korean noodle or Samyang as a gift. So I was like "nagmamagaling" I cooked it the wrong way. I thought it needed to be cooked like ramen without knowing that it was actually like Pancit Canton, like spicy pancit canton, LOL! So after cooking it, I ate it with urgency, like takam na takam, then I almost choked to death because it was so damn spicy, hahaha! I was almost out of breath and my eyes went watery, plus I had a runny nose! It took an hour before I got okay, and my daughter and husband were laughing their hearts out because of what had happened. I did not tell my friend because I was too embarrassed about what happened.  Source https://images.app.goo.gl/HbdVqRsRXF5E44sk7 And that's all, folks! If you happen to run out of ideas for what to write, you can also use this prompt to save the day. Have fun writing! -- Date Published: April 13, 2022  Lead Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/kJgcQs8va7fbrZ8b7

Random Chika Amidst Agaton Still raining on our end. Summer season ba talaga ngayon? Anyway, good day chingus! Grabe kasi ang ulan sa amin since last night. So di na namin pinilit. On my other chika, earlier today, tumawag sa akin ang kapatid ko to tell me na nagpaplano pala sila na mag outing with the whole family. Inggit is me! Inggit is me talaga😂. Kaya bigla ko tuloy naisip, ano kaya if di kami napadpad dito? Ano kaya ang buhay namin sa Manila? Of course, lagi na kami present sa mga family gatherings, for sure yan, pero magkakabahay kaya kami at makakaluwag luwag sa buhay? Before kasi kami napadpad dito eh, sa Manila kami nanirahan. Pero you all know naman kung gaano kahirap ang buhay sa Manila lalo na kung wala kang sariling bahay. Nangungupahan lang kami that time, isang maliit na kwarto at 1,500 a month, bukod pa ang tubig at kuryente. And then we decided na manirahan na dito. And we made a good decision, kasi at least dito, sarili na namin ang bahay, wala nang babayarang upa. 😂 But kidding aside, please include us in your prayers guys. Photo from Facebook Date Published: April 12,

A Day With Agaton I am not supposed to write anything today. My internet connection sucks, and it took me 5 minutes just to load the server for both platforms, read and noise. However, I feel guilty. I'm guilty of not being able to publish an article today, lol! I feel like I will commit a crime against my goal of 1 article a day if I am not going to write. And so, here I am, creating a sort of diary article for all of you to read.  How's my day? Well, not quite well. Our city is one of the places that was affected by Storm Agaton. It has been raining hard here since yesterday, and this morning, at 3 am, I was awakened by the gushing sound of strong wind and a heavy downpour of rain. I can also hear my neighbor frantically working to save their belongings from the flood. Their house was flooded already.  I went out to check if my fur babies were complete. Some of them were missing, so I kept calling their names, and one by one, they came, soaking wet.  After making a brief post in noise, I returned to sleep. I woke up the second time at 7 am and my husband was already busy cleaning up the mess my cats made the whole night. I told him to buy pandesal and coffee.  While we were having breakfast, government officials were walking around and telling everyone to be ready for the tropical storm that was coming. And an evacuation center has been prepared for those who want to evacuate. That's what I like about our Barangay officials. They were so diligent in reminding us if a typhoon was coming. When Typhoon Yolanda hit our city, I guess they learned their lesson. What happened next was nothing out of the ordinary in my life. I just spend my day doing nothing. Eat, sit, listen to music, then eat again. My husband has been the one who kept our house clean. He keeps sweeping the floor because there are so many furs on it. Oh wait, I did something meaningful today. I did the laundry, lol! While my husband went to the market to buy our food and my medicine, I suddenly felt the urge to bathe in the rain, and so I did the laundry as an excuse to do so. But while I was doing the laundry, the heavy rain turned into a light rain shower, and the result was that I now have a runny nose. And so, my husband has been giving me an earful since this morning. I just hope that it will not get worse.  Tomorrow, he will stay at work for 3 straight days, so he kept reminding me about what to do. So I hope we will have fine weather tomorrow for him to have a safe trip. But I think that was far from reality because, upon checking the live satellite weather update, tropical storm Agaton was moving towards Panay Island and was moving slowly, almost stationary, so I guess there was no chance of fair weather tomorrow. However, my husband is needed at his work, so he has no choice but to be there. Here is the live weather satellite update as of 5:30 pm. The encircled one is the Panay Island where Capiz belongs, and Agaton is moving slowly towards our direction.  Screenshot from https://zoom.earth So for those who are greatly affected by Agaton, please stay safe and evacuate to a safer place if needed. Thank you all guys for reading! Date Published: April 11, 2022

@Pachuchay

Here Comes The Flood It has been raining constantly here on my end. The LPA, which later became Tropical Storm Agaton, brought us nonstop rain. I miss the heat of the sun already, so enough with the rain please. There are also some sitios or barangays that have already flooded, and residents have been evacuated to a safe location.  Just this morning, I heard from one of my neighbors that one of her relatives' house was destroyed by a flash flood. Since it was made of light materials, it was swept by a flash flood in an instant, leaving no trace of their house. It's a good thing that her relatives were already evacuated before it happened.   I suddenly recall a time when I, too, had an experience that had something to do with a flood. I was only 9 years old when it happened. We were living in the Vista Verde Subdivision in Cainta at that time. No, we don't own a house there. We can't afford it because only the rich can afford to build a house there.   My Lola has a friend who owns a house in that subdivision, and because no one wanted to live there after her husband was murdered, she offered us a free stay. And since we were only renting at that time, my Lola agreed to it because it would save us a lot in monthly rent.   So we were living in Cainta while our school was located in Angono. It was a 1-hour trip without traffic and probably 2 hours with heavy traffic. As a 9-year old kid, I didn't mind it at all. I even enjoyed the long trip. I was not alone though, because with me was my sister, who was in grade 1 at the time, and my cousin too. So we three were traveling every day to get to school early.  The rainy season had arrived, and a typhoon was approaching. That morning, we had no idea that there was a typhoon coming, so we still went to school, me, my sister, and my cousin.  Heavy rain started to pour down, and so our class was suspended by the afternoon. We were told to go home as soon as possible. So the three of us were thinking of what's the best thing to do, whether we should wait for our Tita to fetch us, or just go home. And we came to an agreement that we should head home while the rain is still not that hard.  By that time, it was already hard to commute. Most jeepneys were full already. Then there was this young man who helped us hop on a jeepney even though it was full. He told the jeepney driver to let us ride because we live in Cainta and it is not safe for us to wait any longer.  So the passengers let us sit on their laps until we reached Tikling. But the jeepney could no longer go beyond that because it was already flooded in some areas, especially in Brookside. So we all got out of the jeepney and walked from then on. I could hear people talking about how dangerous it was, but me, my sister, and cousin were actually enjoying it. It felt like we were on an adventure.  We were holding hands while walking. I told them to not let go of my hands. We were all soaking wet because of the rain, and our bags were already wet too.  People kept asking us if we were with someone, but we told them that it was just us three and that we were headed to Vista Verde. They were surprised because, just imagine, late afternoon, in heavy rain and flooded streets, there we were, 3 small children, walking hand in hand as if nothing was to be afraid of.  Most people would advise us to hold their hands just in case. And we did. Then we arrived at Brookside and the flood was waist deep for grown-up people, so it was chest deep for me and my sister and cousin. My sister was already afraid. I could see it in her eyes, so I told her that we had no other choice but to cross it. We were just fortunate enough that many grown-ups helped us cross that chest-deep flood in the Brookside area.  Photo Source https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FEmmyRG_XUAELVWg.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fcnnphilippines%2Fstatus%2F1326758373824606209&tbnid=FHeTxkchuXF44M&vet=1&docid=5lKlNg9_qa_ktM&w=1200&h=900&hl=en-US&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim We arrived at our house safe and sound. Our Lola was so relieved to see us get home safe, but she thought we were with our Tita because, according to her, our Tita went to our school to fetch us. But we told her that we did not see her. Fortunately, our Tita got home safe and sound too, although a little late because she arrived so late. We were getting ready to bed when she arrived.   -- Looking back on what had happened, I wondered what a 9-year-old child would do in the same situation that we had encountered. Would she do the same as we did, or wait for someone to fetch her at school? At that time, I was not afraid. I did not feel any fear because all I wanted to do was to get home before it gets dark.  Date Published: April 10,2022

Four Decades and Two I woke up beautiful today, coz why not, char! Hahaha! It's my birthday! Oh my gosh, 4 decades and two! Okay, enough with my ilusyon. How to start this article ba, kasi I don't plan on writing today talaga. I will start by saying thank you sa lahat ng bumati sa akin sa noise.cash and read.cash. Pero yun inaantay ko na tawag from my sisters and mudrabels eh wala pa. Okay din minsan yung may trust issue din eh, kahit pa sa bestfriend nyo mga teh, no no. Keep a secret from them kasi your bestfriend can be your greatest enemy in the end. Second, I learn to appreciate every little thing. Kasi before reklamador akong tao talaga. Basta yun, I learn to be more appreciative of what I have. Ewan ko, pero in my case eh ganun. I don't know if I am the problem or them. But I am happy with th friends that I have now coz they are real. It's quality over quantity. Last but not the least, be happy! Pero seryoso, learn to be happy or be happy. Pumayag naman sya, kaya luto ako ng pansit after this. So before I wrap this up, I want to say thank you once again to everybody for making my day meaningful and of course to our creator for another year of life. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALL! -- Date of Published: April 9, 2022 Lead Image Source https://unsplash.com/photos/l6yLVM-FJxc?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditShareLink

What Happened to Friday? Thank God it's Friday! How was your day everyone? Anyway, my morning was not off to a good start. My husband and I had a brief disagreement before he left for work. He became irritated while on the phone with one of his coworkers. I believe it has to do with the materials he requested. I didn't hear him because I was too busy preparing his belongings. He raised his voice as he asked me where his shoes were. So I became irritated and told him not to raise his voice and that he could instead ask me nicely. Then he kept going, and I just ignored him until he left. I continued with my chores after he left, and he returned an hour later. I didn't pay attention to him, but I was secretly watching him. He must have left the floor plan because he was looking for it and noticed him putting it inside his bag. After that, he approached me and kissed me, only a peck, before returning to work. "Oh okay, we're good now," I said with a smile. That's exactly how my husband is. I know he was sorry, and that was his way of apologizing. Okay, enough of my introductory remarks; let's get down to business. I'm participating in another prompt initiated by @Usagi. This is very timely for what I'm planning. How did my day go? That is exactly what I intend to write, but with the assistance of this prompt, I believe I can make it more appealing to my readers. I certainly hope so, LOL! **What kind of day did you have?** I have the same routine every day doing my morning chores and grinding. Kind of boring, right? But what happened this morning between me and my husband put a little spice into my day. We may have argued, but he kissed me after he realized that he was wrong. Things like that add color to my usual morning routine, so I appreciate it. And something special happened to me today, and I will explain it further in the latter part of this article. **If you could change one thing about your behavior today, what would it be?** Nothing, because I am satisfied with what has happened today. It may have had a rocky start, but it ended on a positive note. **Did you accomplish what you wanted to do today?** Yes, both from the real world and the virtual world. I had accomplished everything smoothly. **What made you smile today and why?** Today, three things made me smile or happy. My husband's sweetness was the first thing. Siopao, my cat, was the second. Siopao found his way up to where my laptop is while I was reading articles in read.cash, and he has been very busy and curious since then. He was following the mouse cursor, and he even went to the back of the laptop to see if the cursor was still there, LOL! How can I be mad at this babe? I can't! LOL! And the third one is that @Yen gifted me 1000 pesos for my birthday. Yehey! We were having a conversation on the guild's discord channel. And she mentioned that the pending rewards from her invite to Abra were reflected on her account. And she will use it on her birthday. So I asked her when her birthday was and she said May 10, and I told her mine is tomorrow. She wished me a happy birthday and said that she would send me a gift through Gcash! So I was like, "for real, Yen?" And she said yes!  OMG, I was so happy when I received a message from Gcash. I did not expect it. It is a huge amount for me. And it came from someone who did not know me personally but treated me as her real friend and virtual mom, "Thank you, Yen!" So what am I going to do with the money? I don't know, LOL! Usually, I don't prepare anything every time my birthday comes because, mostly, April 9 falls on Good Friday, and I've gotten used to it. The only time that I remember that I have prepared something for my birthday was when I was 12 years old. The second time was last year when my friend Madel, who by the way is a friend I met virtually, and we have been friends for almost 5 years already. She surprised me with a food package on my birthday last year. And tomorrow, I have no plans yet, but the other day, my husband told me that we would have a family dinner date on my birthday. Well, it still depends on how much his salary will be tomorrow. LOL! I will keep this money for my medicine. I just want to be more practical. hehe!  ***"So thank you so much, Yen. May God bless you tenfold for what you have done for me."*** What are five things you are grateful for? This does not apply just to today, but every day. Of course, my family, especially my husband, showed me that no matter what happens, he will stay beside me and love me. Charot! To my friends and virtual friends who keep on supporting me, To read.cash and noise.cash, who has been a big help to us, especially when the pandemic started, also led me to meet all of you guys, who never get tired of encouraging me to keep moving forward. And to another year of my life. When I learned that I have an autoimmune disease, I actually thought that my days were numbered, and so I am grateful that tomorrow, another year will be added to my long journey through life. And so that's how my Friday went. It was not off to a good start, but ended on a positive note! So how was yours? Care to share?  ***--*** Date Published: April 8,2022 Lead Image from Unsplash

Rain OF Memories I woke up this morning to the sound of pouring rain on our roof, with a slight thunder. I felt so cold, so I tucked myself under my blanket and tried going back to sleep. I think an hour later, I have awakened again. This time, it was my body clock that was telling me to get out of bed. So, with a heavy heart, I got out of bed and slowly walked like a zombie, dragging my feet. I went straight to the bathroom to do my thing. I was still half asleep and stayed there for like half an hour, lol!  And then the meowing sound my cats made pulled me back to reality. I cleaned myself up, and when I opened the door, my cats were waiting for me, asking for food. They did not stop following me until I gave them food. Because of them, I feel like I have a dozen kids. When I checked the time, it was already 6:30 in the morning, which gave me time to prepare our breakfast. Usually, it is my husband who makes breakfast, but I know that he was tired from his work yesterday, so I let him sleep a little longer. But as I was about to start cooking, he was up and taking our dogs out for a walk. That was his daily routine: a morning walk with his dogs.  As they head out, I continue what I started. This morning I prepared a heavy breakfast: garlic rice, sunny-side-up eggs, and hotdogs. Usually, we prefer bread and coffee for breakfast but since there was some leftover rice last night, I decided to cook it before it get spoiled. So right after I was done, my husband and the dogs were home, so I told him to wash his hands because we would have our breakfast.  Source https://images.app.goo.gl/Hb7xZqaezN1A6oHD8 The rain started pouring again. My husband cleaned the table after we ate, and I told him that I had to play Pegaxy, so he told me to go outside because he was going to clean our house. While I was playing, I suddenly felt sad, down, or whatever feeling that I felt this morning, and the rain had something to do with it. I don't know why I feel so down when it rains. Do you feel that way too? It was as if the rain became a time machine that brought me back to a past that I didn't want to be in. From my happy childhood memories to the not-so-good memories, makes me feel nostalgic. The first thing that I remember when it rains is the death of my grandmother. It was the rainy season when she died, and I remember cleaning the first floor of our house because it got flooded due to heavy rains at that time. I was cleaning it the night before she died, and it got me thinking that maybe I was fated to clean that night to prepare for her burial the next day. So I was like, if only I had not cleaned that night, maybe she would not have died. And I blamed myself for that. Then my Tita, the most supladita, added fuel to the fire by saying that it was my fault that my Lola died because I was hardheaded and would not listen to her. So I was thinking, maybe it was my fault. Until now, I was still blaming myself, although not in the same way as before, the guilt is still there. But I know that my Lola, who is now in the hand of our creator, feels no pain and only happiness. I know that she knows that I love her.  Date Published: April 7, 2022 Lead Image Source https://images.app.goo.gl/MxB1GcMATiSDJvaE9

Are You Ready To Play? The summer season is here, but we experience heavy showers and thunderstorms here every now and then. There are even parts of the country that are flooded, which greatly affects the livelihoods of everyone. However, I am enjoying this kind of weather, just staying at home, chilling out, and watching scary/horror movies. Who among you enjoys horror films? I am a scaredy-cat, but I enjoyed watching it for as long as I could remember. Three days ago, I happened to read @Usagi 's article among the many piled-up articles in my notification. Because the gloomy weather has clouded my decisions in life, lol, I'll respond to her prompt. Spooky questions? I am not scared to answer them, so let's begin! https://read.cash/@Usagi/extremely-wicked-ec7fff2c Source https://images.app.goo.gl/HkQ2vun9V3QgQW7D6 **1.** If you were given the death penalty, what would your last meal be? The first thing that came into my mind were the foods that I haven't yet tried in my life, but then again, I thought about what if I don't like the taste of those? So I would like to have Pansit for long life, hahaha! And also burgers, cakes, buko juice, corn dogs, crispy pata, fried chicken and all the unhealthy foods. I will die anyway. LOL! **2.** What do you want etched onto your tombstone? *"Here lies a lady who was born beautiful and died beautifully."* Hahaha! Oh my gosh, why am I having fun answering this? **3.** If you were to commit a murder, how would you go about it? I had to think a couple of times if I was going to answer this or not, but the criminal mind inside me said that we should go for it, lol! Okay, just to make myself clear, this is for the sake of answering the question, no personal feelings or whatsoever involved, lol! So here it goes. If I am to commit murder, I will not just kill the person; I will torture him. I will hang him upside down and skin him alive until he begs me to just kill him right there and then. I will then slit his throat and bathe in his blood until the very last drop. I am going to kill guys who are unfaithful, two-timers, and womanizers. **5.** Would you spend a full night inside a haunted house if someone paid you? No, not ever, but if I am with someone or in a group, I am having second thoughts, lol! **6.** Have you ever used an ouija board? What happened? Not personally, but I have witnessed my mother, together with my Lola and aunts, do it. This happened when I was 6 or 7 years old in our old house in Davao. I remember that treasure hunting was the talk of the town at that time, and someone told my parents that there was a treasure buried beneath where our house was built. And so, they consulted the spirits to see if it was true. So one night, they did it. I was so exhausted at the time that I hid in the back of my mom. But I clearly saw the glass move when they asked questions, and I remember my Tita was so afraid that she let go of the glass. I don't know how it ended, but the next thing I knew, they were digging deep into where our house was built. And there was no treasure to be found.*face plam* **7.** Have you ever had an unexplainable experience with the supernatural? Yes, and I have written an article about this. It was when we lived in a haunted house before. You can read more about it here. https://read.cash/@Pachuchay/the-haunting-41bf757d **8.** In your opinion, what is the most brutal way to die? The most brutal way to die is like how people died in the movie "Final Destination." Why? I will answer that in the next question. **9.** Which horror movie scarred you for life? The Final Destination, it really scares me to see how people die in that movie. It leaves a big impact on me, so even when I see a truck loaded with logs, I feel like I am about to die. hahaha!  Source https://images.app.goo.gl/J6WmJg9fSKuZGn699 And the other one is "The Grudge", the first version. I can't move on, and I got scared while sleeping alone for 2 weeks. I was afraid that Sadako would just appear in front of me or under my bed and pull me to nowhere, lol! **10.** How long do you think you would last in a horror movie? As long as the movie is ongoing, I will not leave. I have to see how it ends or else my curiosity will kill me. lol! I just love watching horror films, that's why. **11.** Would you rather get bitten by a vampire or a zombie? I would rather get bitten by a vampire than getting bitten by a zombie. For some reason, I would still look the same or much better if I got bitten by a vampire. You know, in movies, how good-looking vampires are, lol! The effect of watching the movie "Twilight"  -- I honestly had fun answering this. I think I'll make a part two of this, lol! If you are ready to get scared, I dare you to take the courage to answer them by clicking here. I also challenge my dear friends @Lhes, @Jeaneth, @Adrielle1214, @Ruffa, @mommykim, @Micontingsabit to answer this, especially you Ruffa coz I know how wild your imagination is. I want to know your answer to question #3, hehe. https://thoughtcatalog.com/holly-riordan/2017/10/50-spooky-questions-to-ask-your-friend-group-to-get-into-the-halloween-spirit/ Date Published: April 6, 2022

An Article Without A title Yesterday, I was mentioned by @Amjad_Ali_Waince in his article about questions that relate to personal life, attitude, and the past. There are six questions in his article, and those are: Flashback to a childhood memory. Do you feel deserving of love? What is the most lofty thing you are dealing with now? What do you think of your worst habit? Do you think that good things come after suffering? What do you want to do before you die? And I will take this chance to answer these quite intriguing questions, so without further ado, let's begin... ***Flashback to your childhood memories.** I had a fun childhood, but I would rather call it an accident-prone time in my life, lol! Just like any other kid, I am always curious, playful, and careless, which oftentimes involves me in minor accidents. I always end up wounded, scratched, or bruised every time I go out to play with my friends. You can say it's normal until you see me drenched in blood because of my curiosity. I was 6 years old at that time. My lola asked my Tita to buy something in the market, and I told her to take me with her. She refused at first because, according to her, I would only cause delays, but I kept insisting and so she took me with her. We rode on her bicycle. That's the main reason why I wanted to go with her: to ride on her bicycle. I didn't know how to ride a bicycle at that time, so I was content to ride with her, either in the back or in front. We arrived at the market safe and sound, and because it was crowded, we walked instead while my Tita was holding her bike and I was beside her. We passed by a cotton candy vendor, and I told my Tita to buy me some, but she told me later, but I kept on dragging her to where the vendor was, and she accidentally bumped the handle of the bike in my head. I was surprised at first. I did not feel anything until I could feel something warm flowing from my head, and I could not see clearly because my eyes were covered with blood. That is when I began to cry. My tita panicked, and people were staring at us. We rode on her bicycle on our way home, and while we were on the road, I kept on crying while saying, "I am going to die, Tita!" repeatedly. Then she told me, "No, you're not. Just stop crying. " We arrived home and everyone panicked. I saw my mother faint while my Lola was hitting my Tita. That's the last thing I remember until I fainted and I woke up in the hospital with a few stitches in my head. I was then forbidden to ride a bicycle. ***Do you feel deserving of love?** Of course, I deserve all the love in this world. Oh, not only me, "we" deserve to be loved. We should never doubt our worth and know that God created us because he loves us, and that alone is enough for us to feel secure and loved. **What is the most lofty thing you are dealing with now?** I would say, battling with my disease. This has been a big challenge, not just for me, but for my whole family. Financially and emotionally, I am struggling, but I am happy to know that there are people who never get tired of extending a helping hand. ***What do you think of your worst habit?** The worst of the worst, lol! I always have this habit of keeping our house clean. I remember when I was in my Tita's house, she had a visitor, and while they were talking, I kept on sweeping the marks that they left when they entered, and so I was scolded right after they left. lol! I know it's kabastusan and I am being rude, but I can't help myself. Even so, I keep reminding my husband and daughter to always clean up their mess, and I will not stop until they do so. ***Do you think that good thing come after suffering?** I would love to think that good things come after suffering because that is something to look forward to after everything we've gone through. What's the use of every struggle you are dealing with if there's nothing good that will come after? There's always a rainbow after the rain. ***What do you want to do before you die?** Aside from spending it with my family and fulfilling my bucket list, one thing that I would want to do before I die is build a shelter home for stray cats and dogs. I want them to have a roof over their heads against the heat of summer and the cold nights of winter. I want them to feel that they deserve to have a good life in this world. And that they don't need to be scavengers, looking for food in the garbage and being treated as if they are the worst of the worst. At least let them enjoy life in their short lifetime, right?  And that's it! I hope that I have answered the question very well. I would like to call out @Adrielle1214, @Usagi, @Jeaneth, and @mommykim to share their fair share, hehe... -- Date Published: April 5, 2022

@Pachuchay

"I am finally free. " **She was a stranger in a very strange land.** No one knew who she was or what she had done. Luna is eighteen years old, young, and innocent, or is she? She used to have a family that she thought would protect her from this cruel world. But that's not the case. She was abused by her father, and when she told her mom, she did not believe her. Her mother even told her that she was just making things to tarnish her father's reputation. Everyone respects her father because he is a good pastor in everyone's eyes, but not in hers. Every night, when everyone seemed to be getting their sleep, her father would sneak into her room and do something to her that even her young mind could not understand.  *Why would he do that to me? He is my father, the person that I thought would protect me.* Every night, Luna had to endure everything. He was forcing her to do unimaginable things, and she felt helpless. And her mother doesn't even care. She was so blindly in love with her husband that she believed everything he told her. Luna tried to ask for help from her friends, but she was caught by her father while she was on her phone trying to call Dino, her best friend. And her father told her that he would kill Dino if she told everyone. She got scared. She couldn't do that to Dino.  But this has to stop. She can no longer take it. She felt so dirty and disgusted that she had to scrub her body so hard that it would get bruised every time she took a bath. She had to do something.  She heard the doorknob twist that night. She knew that it was her father. So she gets herself ready for what could happen tonight.  *"Are you awake?"* Her father asked, but she kept lying still and pretended to be asleep. Then she heard him unzipping his jeans. She was nervous, but she had to keep herself calm. Her father slowly sat by her side while caressing her skin. *"You're so beautiful. Tonight, you'll be mine again."* While he was slowly removing her clothes, Luna quickly grabbed the knife she had kept hidden under her pillow, and, as hard as she could, she stabbed him right through his heart. He was surprised and could not defend himself. Luna stabbed him over and over again. Blood was all over her face, and she was showing no remorse for what she had done. She was smiling and crying at the same time while she was looking at her father, lifeless. *"I am now free!"* These were the words that she uttered when, suddenly, the door opened and it was her mom. She saw her running towards her father's lifeless body. But she did not expect what she did next. *"Runaway, Luna."* Her mother grabbed the knife from her hand while holding her face, crying. "*My poor child, I am so sorry for not being able to protect you. Now, run. Go to a place where no one can recognize you. Live a new life. Now go ahead, run along, child. "I love you mom,"* she said as she hugged her goodbye. That was all in the past; now she had to start anew. To have a new chance at a better life. Hello, lovelies! Another article from the TMDWA for today. I am just inspired to do another story using the prompt generator. And I hope you like how the story goes. Things like this happen in real life. Sad but true. The family we thought would protect us and provide us with a good future are the ones who will ruin it. The best thing to do to avoid this happening to our family is to keep an open line of communication with them and check your children now and then. I just don't understand why there are people who could do such evil things to their own flesh and blood, so disgusting. Anyway, I'll end it here because my blood is boiling na. I don't know why I get emotional while writing this. Maybe it is because I am a mother. -- Date Published: April 4, 2022
