Si Waze o Ako?

Hey there lovelies! It is September 19, 2021. The weather is very pleasant. I am having a ginger tea. This is my first time having this. Someone told me that this is best for the throat problem and lately I am having one so I think it is a good idea to try this.

Anyway, this article is not about me having ginger tea. I want to share my experience using Waze App for the first time. I am sure everyone knows what Waze app is.

The next part will be taglish but I will do my best to minimize the Filipino language.

My story happened way back 2018. My family(husband and daughter) went to Manila to spend Christmas and New Year with my mother. And also, it was the first time my husband will visit his brothers after a long time. Kuya Dax lives in Taytay Rizal and Noy, the youngest lives in Lancaster Cavite.

So my father in-law has a car which is in Noy's care because he is residing in Canada. And he let us used the car for us to travel back and forth to save travelling expenses.

My husband is a good driver but matagal syang nawala sa Manila and marami ng pagbabago sa mga daan. And one more thing, he doesn't have a license. His license got lost together with his other ID's when he lost his wallet.

So, Noy suggested us to use Waze app. And husband said na ako ang magtuturo ng daan while he is driving para mas madali sa kanya. I was hesitant at first because I am not good in reading directions. But we have no other choice.

So, eto na, dito na nagsimula ang kwento namin ni Waze. The original plan was pupunta kami ng Bataan, sa mother ko ng Tuesday pero namove ng Wednesday kasi gusto sumama ng dalawang Tita ko para makabisita sa Mama ko. Although matagal ng hiwalay ang Papa at Mama ko, in good terms pa din ang Mama ko sa mga kapatid ni Papa.

So we went to Taytay Rizal kasi doon nakatira ang mga Tita. Bukod sa Waze eh tinuruan pa kami ng bayaw ko kung saan kami dapat dadaan. And because nga I am not good in directions, mas lalo lang ako nalito.

So off we go, I am excited din naman sa byahe namin kasi it felt an adventure, hahaha! Palabas kami ng Cavite eh walang naging problema. Nasusunod ng tama yun direction ni Waze. Cute na cute ako sa boses ng App na yun. Pero nun nasa bandang Solaire na kami, naku nagkagulo na sa direction. Medyo shunga kasi ako sa "hard right", "hard left" na term kaya kung saan-saan kami napadpad, hahaha!

Tapos bumalik kami sa pinanggalingan namin dahil mali yun direction ko sa husband ko. And ending, nagtalo kami kasi sbi ko sa kanya na sya na lang gumamit ng Waze para wala sya sisihin😂.

Nakailang balik din kami sa toll gate dahil naligaw kami. Siguro kung nagcommute kami eh mas makakamura dahil sa laki ng binayaran namin na toll fee. Pero sa awa ng Diyos eh nakarating din kami sa Taytay haha!

Second time naman na byahe eh nun pauwe na kami galing Bataan. Maaga kami nagtravel para smooth ang byahe. We soend New Year sa Mama ko so after ng New year, umuwe na din kami agad sa Cavite kasi January 3 yun balik namin dito sa Capiz.

So ayun, the travel was smooth noong nasa bandang Bataan pa lang kami. Pero nun papasok na kami ng Cavite, jusko nagkaloko loko na. Nag start doon sa mali un lane na napwestuhan ni husband sa toll gate. So ang ending eh pinatabi kami at hinanapan ng lisensya.

Kinabahan ako kasi wala nga lisensya si husband. Pero very thankful ako kasi napakabait nun nanghuli sa amin. Pinaalpas kami at tinuruan pa ng tamang direction. Sinabihan nya si asawa na sa susunod siguraduhin dala ang lisensya.

The second time na nahuli kami was January 4. We were supposed to go back to Capiz that day. But early morning, I received a call from my stepmother. She said that my father had a heart attack and died. I was crying the whole time of travel so si husband yung tumitingi sa Waze. But he miscalculated sa pagliko so ang ending eh nahuli kami.

So siempre kabado na naman ako kasi wala lisensya si husband and isa pa, hindi naman sa amin yun sasakyan kundi sa father in-law ko. Pagbaba ng windhield eh todo iyak agad ako, haha! Eh totoo naman na umiiyak ako that time kasi nga namatay ang Papa ko pero mas nag eefort pa ako ng bongga. So habang kinakausap ni husband yun officer eh iyak iyak ako, ganern.

Kaya ang ending eh pinagbigyan din kami ng officer at nagcondolence pa sa amin. Todo talaga yun pasalamat ko that time kasi kahit ilang beses kami nahuli eh hindi kami natiketan.

Ang moral lesson ng story, huwag gumamit ng Waze App kung shunga sa directions, lol! Pero the whole time na nagtravel kami eh ang saya pa din kahit nagkaligaw ligaw kami. Feeling namin eh nag adventure lang eh. Sa bawat ligaw namin that time eh nagtatawanan kaming tatlo. Siguro umubos kami ng almost 1,500 pesos sa toll fees.

We may had a mishap but we had fun.
