Salar de Uyuni, this is where one's gaze passes from the endless white barren land all around. This salt surface, which used to be the bottom of the lake, is today the largest salt plain in the world with an area of 10,500 km2 .

Right on the Argentine-Brazilian border are the beautiful Iguazu Falls. A truly spectacular performance is provided by up to 300 waterfalls, which overflow over sharp rocky cliffs with a total length of up to 2.7 km.

Incredible colors are the characteristic salt lake in Bolivia called Laguna Roja, or Red Lake. It can owe its deep red color to red algae and microorganisms that live in water. The perfect combination of colors is complemented by dozens of rare flamingos looking for food in the lake.
