They are mystical, beautiful and overwhelming - among other words, I could use these words to describe the wildlife forests that are now coming, which hide an incredible amount of natural resources. Watch out for them too, so that even your grandchildren can enjoy them!

1. Arashiyama bamboo forest, Japan

One of Japan’s most beautiful natural attractions is the 16 km² forest, just a 30-minute train ride from Kyoto, which is completely free to visit 24 hours a day. We can wander for half a mile among the stunning and huge bamboos (up to 20 meters tall), and many travel to Japan just to see this miracle. Maybe I don’t have to say, but there’s a lot of crowd here in high season, so it’s worth visiting here in the morning or evening.

2. Wistmans Forest, England

In the county of Devon in the south-west of England, famous for its beautiful natural features, Dartmoor to be exact, this Wistmans forest, which can easily fit into science-fiction films, is (although it used to cover a huge area) now spread over only 6 hectares. The 400-500 year old oak trees are covered with lichens, mosses and stones and are considered by many to be the most mysterious place in the world.

3. Peach tree forest, China

Truth be told, we can find more and more peach forests in several parts of China, but the miracle in the picture can be found in the northeastern part of the country, not far from the border with Kazakhstan, exactly in Ili. The peach blossom blooms from June to the end of September, so if you want to see this fairy-tale forest, be sure to travel to China in the summer!

4. Black Forest, Germany

The Danube originates in the Black Forest (Black Forest) in Baden-Wurttemberg in the south-west of Germany - but that's not the only reason to visit! The trees in the forest, with an area of about 6010 km², are the most dark-colored pine forests (hence its name), and the highest point is the 1493-meter Feldberg, which is also used by skiers in winter.

5. Hook forest, Poland

No one knows for sure why the trees of the Kampo Forest, made up of 400 pines in the north-west of Poland, curved in this way, but several explanations and theories have emerged on the subject. Some say the trees leaning north were buried under a huge snowstorm about 100 years ago, others say the locals manipulated the trees to make furniture out of them. The truth looks like it will never be revealed, but surely you won’t see it anywhere else in the world!
