Unpredictable Humans.

Life will always surprise you and people will always do the same. There is no amount of preparation you can have that will get your mind set on some certain things. Life and humans have a way of shocking you unexpectedly.

With life, I can deal because there are some things that would always be out of your control but with humans, we are responsible for our actions. We have the right to act a certain way or not and that's the power of choice.

In as much as we blame the government for everything, most people are responsible for how they turn out. There can never be a perfect government even the best of government we desire and wish to run to, there are people who still complain and some people are still impoverished. I feel it is about what steps and choices we are making. I have seen people thrive so well even with our terrible government and yet they are not playing politics. It is about wanting what you want enough to push you to do great things.

A family member was supposed to resume training for a new job yesterday and he walked to the junction by himself. He is new to my area so I think he was even given a wrong direction by another family member he stayed with. I think it's a longer route with that direction he was given but it wasn't a direction that people don't ply. It's a regular road. He entered a car unsuspecting because everyone in that car dressed up in suit as though they were heading for work as with everyone else. They were even passing money to the driver as though it wasn't staged until they got to a point and gagged his neck, pushed him down in the car and the torture started.

How someone can be so wicked to smashed a sledge hammer on another person's leg because you are trying to rob them is beyond me. They were asking for him ATM PIN after they have taken his phone and snatched his ATM. Being under pressure and of course not knowing which of the ATM they picked, he gave them the wrong pin as expected and they were smashing the sledge hammer on his shinbone till they cracked it and his trouser was soaked in blood and even his shoe. They also smashed his thumbs when he was trying to block them off. They successful withdrew 400,000 naira ($800) from his account. He had that money to do a capital project which isn't complete even.

It's shocking and annoying that someone would wake up one day and just want to rob someone. After robbing them and doing those despicable things to them, how do they sleep at night? No doubt, they are dead to their conscience. How they have turned that into their 'job' to rob unsuspecting people and these people also have family members that would say "My dad went to work today". How shameful that must be.

They threw him on the road with broken bones and he couldn't even stand up. They applied sand and Robb on his eyes so his eyes would be peppery and wouldn't have to catch the plate number. Someone helped him and stopped a policeman on the bike who took it upon himself to call us and then took him to the emergency unit where he was helped and given first aid treatment. That help was timely as it made it easy for us when we took him to the hospital for major casting and dressing. He got his crutches too but he couldn't help but to cry. He wasn't even crying because they took his money alone but for the fact that he walked out but came back limping and in pains.

I was particularly pleased with the place he got his appointment. He hasn't even started work and they were asking about how they can pay for his treatment. Of course, we asked them not to but that showed great character and interestingly, they came around again today to check up on him in the hospital. I am impressed and that's a good place to work if anyone asks me. They are concerned about your well being as well as the value you want to bring into their establishment. He would have to do his trainings via Zoom and they have agreed to that.

I can't even bear to scratch another person with a knife and how some people are sold out to the devil that they could smash another person's bones all for money. The government is never our problem but greed is the problem for most people. Some people will work day and night to make ends meet and you will sit down in a corner and devise ways to steal what they have worked for. This is painful and it's disheartening to see how humans have degenerated so bad.

They will share that money, finish that money, probably drink and finish it in a week if not that same day because people like them lacked foresight. They spend as they have seen it because they don't know what it means to actually work for something in an honest way. Watch out for how these kinds of people end up since they are wasting away the productive parts of their lives doing what they shouldn't be doing. Speed is useless and a liability if you are moving in a wrong direction. Some people are moving so fast that the world would think they are succeeding but they are dying slowly.

Such is life? No, such is human.
