Joy Overflow, II.
I shared the first part of this article yesterday and in case you missed it, you can read it here: Joy Overflow.
This is the second part and a continuation of the first part but even without reading the first part, you can fully grasp what the message is all about because they are both independent articles but I still suggest we read the first part to get the full dose ππ€£.
We were told that Hannah was looking for the fruit of the womb and the Bible recorded that the moment the prophet told her to leave and prayed with her, she was no longer sad. Once the sadness left, she took in and the rest became a story. Nobody is your problem. Be joyful and see how things gravitate towards you and even your health won't be hampered with depression or high blood pressure and other things associated with worries. Your sorrowful state sometimes discourage people from God. Be joyful. Stay joyful. Whatever your situation is, learn to be joyful. I've reiterated that it won't be easy but considering the other alternatives, I would rather try to stay joyful even though it's not easy.
I recently know about this song:
*"This is Holy Moment
When God walks in on us
Every gaze is on The Lion and The Lamb."*
That powerful song above is indeed powerful. Short but full of meaning and life when we ponder on it. The gaze should be on God and not on your problems. Learn to tell your problems how big your God is. Brag about God too and stop magnifying your problems. Take your focus away from your problems and look unto the Author and The Finisher of your faith. God can do anything and everything. When we understand this, it makes life easier for us.
Joy unlocks access to your redemptive package. Your rights and privileges in Christ are harnessed through a joyful heart. The joy of the Lord also engraces you with strength. Absence of joy weakens your morale. There should be a fuel that sustains you away from the recommendation and applause of men. Sadness zaps strength. Stop drawing strength only from the praise of men. Between the words of a man and God, which should give you more fuel? Humans are limited but God isn't.
How to secure the joy of the Lord?
Regular fellowship with God because Psalm 16:11 says in God's presence there is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore. God's presence dispels sorrow. There is this ease you feel when you tell it to God. The only source of strength is in the presence of God. Retrace your steps back to God. What took you away from His presence? Go back. Be like the prodigal son and go back. Those who know their God will do exploits. You cannot do exploits to the extent you desire if you don't know God. The God factor is always the edge...the extra above everything. Whatever you have attained, God can take you further.
You must have active partnership with Jesus because you are guaranteed joy. The Bible says in this life we will have tribulations but we should be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world. Active partnership with God makes people return with joy because you are confident that whatever you are going through, you know that God has it handled.
Tell it to God... Learn to trust and derive joy because your light affliction would work out and turn to joy for you in the end. Amen.
Another old poem I would like to share with you all... "God Is Still The God of Last Minute". Enjoy...
God is still the God of last minute
Nothing is ruled out with Him in it
He knows how to comes through and true
Like He did for the Hebrews in the burning furnace
Like He did for Abraham around the alter surface
Just as He did to cover Moses' face
Don't even get me started with David and Goliath
He is still in the business of springing up surprises
And showing up when all hope is lost
Lazarus came forth and He came forth for me too
Just when I had lost all hopes
When all my calculations failed
Even with the obvious permutations
He showed up and exceeded those expectations
Floored my calculations and showed me
Why He is and will always be God
God came through for me
He showed up on the very last day
My joy knows no bound as the feeling is indescribable
God is still in the business of showing up at the last minute
Just when they thought Jesus came late for Lazarus
Little did they know that He was just right on time
Everything is to the glory of the Father in Heaven
The Father of light in whom there is no variableness
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks. I am love's chemical content in human form and that's why I advise people to take a dose of "Olawalium" daily. π

I love the poem! Yes God is God and is good. He will perform miracles for us.
