It's Not Hard To See - Life and Football.

Life is a result business but a lot of people keep saying that they are making serious efforts but results keep showing the opposite. This is not just a life's post but a football post as well - it's a mixture and I drew lessons from both sides while staying the case with my club.

You would see Manchester United players going to training every day and you would think they know what they are doing. They are a bunch of clueless folks with no notable exception. I watched the training session today and I saw how they were all smiles and laughter. I am not saying it's a crime for them to laugh in training but with the performances this season, I would expect them to show more anger and grit even in training sessions.

It's not surprising how they play because the way they play showed that they are not doing anything in the training session. Do you know how long it took them to have a set-piece goal? It wasn't until February, I think and yet they train for that? Do they have a set pieces coach? They are actually getting paid? Wow... I am shocked.

This club has become a shadow of itself with people just coming in to have their slice of the attractive salaries and nothing more. They are not playing for the shirt, they don't give a hoot about the fans. Ask them to duck their wages when they draw or lose then you would see what would happen.

As much as I believe in Erik Ten Hag to be a quality coach, I also believe Ralf Rangnick to be a good coach based on the reputation he has built over the years but we have seen how things played out for him and this team is nowhere near better. I don't blame the coach and I would still blame him because the bulk of the work rests with him.

I don't know what problem these players have but they have never played together as a unit and I don't see that happening anytime soon. As much as I appreciate the new coach coming in at the end of the season, I doubt a lot would change with this team if they don't let go of most of these players.

I have always believed in this team even when they play the nonsense they play. Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left, things have gone down a spiral for this team. Not many coaches can use the set of players he used in winning the league the season he retired. There are coaches and there are coaches. I am so sure these coaches cannot accommodate these clashes of heads and they are not bold enough to take the hard decisions.

I know sometimes their hands are tied especially when an England national is involved like Harry Maguire. I have nothing against Harry but he hasn't been good this season. If he was of a different national, I am sure there would have been calls for him to be stripped of his captaincy and starting berth.

This team needs to go in another direction if they ever want to achieve anything together. They need a coach that won't be shy in taking hard decisions. They need a coach that would drop them when their form plummeted and then bench the ones that are not good enough. Too many familiarities are the major problem this team is facing.

This goes on with how life is as well. We have so many people who have become familiar with certain people that they would never take instructions from them. We have those who feel they know it all and they discuss issues with others just to gather sympathy. Those they discuss with make things worse because they won't also tell them the truth.

Life is all about results and once the results are missing there is nothing you can say to convince others that you are making effort. Your results are the things that would make everyone know that there is something you have been doing behind the scene. Most of the time we focus too much on wanting others to see our efforts rather than staying silent to keep growing. I believe there is no one that can't grow but when people lack the determination to improve, there is nothing they can do.

These Manchester United players lack the determination to win games. They give in too easily and they start shouting while also sending apology tweets. It's the same with humans because we are always quick to apologize when we have been found out rather than look for the determination to improve. When the determination is lacking, it's like building on a weak foundation, to you it would look like you are doing the best you can but others are seeing the slippery slope you are on.

There are many lessons to learn about life in football because if we look closely it's all about planning, human behaviour and reactions when something goes against the plans we have set in motion. The major thing is never to stop improving. When there is a will there will always be a way but most people are looking for a way when they lack the will.

Thank you for your time.

As Manchester United fans, we cant help but hope for the best. Ralf Ragnick is a coach with a great reputation but this bunch of spoilt brats have made him look worse than Ole Gunnar. They smile in training, looking like they have a direction but in reality they don't even know what they are playing for. This bunch of spoilt, overrated brats can sack any top coach, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp inclusive. Familiarity on the other hand has made some players look untouchable despite the abysmal performances they put out week in week out. Ten Hag has to act fast and get rid of them or reinstate his authority as a coach and get rid of those that are surplus to requirements.

Thank you so much. You hit the nail on the head there. I head he was hesitant to join us until certain conditions are in place, so I want to believe for him to have joined, it means they have agreed to his terms. That team needs better rebranding.

Very necessary rebranding, We need to have an identity as a team. That's what makes Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City exceptional. And anybody that proves to be a hindrance to the formation of this team identity, should be thrown out of the club with immediate effect. I heard Paul Pogba was offer over €450k as wages for his contract extension. I feel PP has contributed his quota to the club and should leave for a better challenge elsewhere.

Pogba is skilful but lazy and commits too many mistakes with his attitude to show off. He should leave. Anyone that doesn't fit into the formation should leave. They don't have to force a formation for them.

I think same here. He should leave. He's surplus to requirements.

I think so many factors contribute to Manchester united's present problem. Arguably, they are the biggest club in England which gives them so many media attention, the ex-players talk out of proportion, a single game performance makes the media start hyping them, the players are proud and not worthy of wearing that jersey, the board prefers money to trophy.

They need a coach like Pep or the Old Mourinho we know, i coach that commands respect, a coach that can bench or sell any player without being questioned by the board, a coach that tells the players to reduce their social media appearance and also reduce their ego. Above all, they ned to sell so many players in that squad starting with Maguire and Pogba. That alone will send a message to the rest of the squad

God bless you. You accurately spoke my mind there and that's what they need to do. They need a firm coach and not the coach that dances to the tune of the board everytime.

Football is more than a game, there are many life lesson to learn from football but only few knows the language football speaks to the world.

As for United, we all know the interim coach has failed already and his going to be replace my Ajax current coach. But the only way for him to survive next season at United is to offload some of the players and sign a better players who is ready to work for the team and for the fans and not for money alone.

Absolutely, there are so many lessons to learn from football. Preparation is key for most things.

So many players need to leave Manchester United. They are not putting in the efforts at all.

MU is a brand name in soccer world but unfortunately loosing it's fame and dignity by time passing. Other emerging clubs taking huge steps to improve their game but MU stands still overconfidence.

They are only living on past glory as things stand because others are sweeping them away and staking their claim. They need to buckle up.

most people are looking for a way when they lack the will.

Wow this is strong. I had to read multiple times to understand. this goes to show will is really important in achieving goals. Like a direction towards a destination.

Exactly, my friend. It's like a direction to a destination. I love that.

Watching united play these days is like torture. I don't think they feel any pressure of what is at stake. They play football as though every other thing is secured, and there is nothing to play for

πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ that's the annoying part. They just don't care. It's frustrating.

Maybe they have just deceiving their selves Ola, when they said that they exert tremendous effort but the results are opposite. Well, I'm not degrading everyone's effort the point is they don't have to expose their hardworks unless it is proven by the results.

Yes, without results it looks as though nothing is being done.

Exactly every the players will go to training and as fans watching them from internet will think ohh he’s very good and gonna contribute a lot but damn it it’s like players now put more efforts in training sessions than in match.

I still miss that Manchester United team when Roonie & Ronaldo played together under Sir Alex. Damn! That team was monster. I really missed that craze and hunger of goals.

I love that; the craze and hunger for goals. These ones are only hungry for their paychecks.

As a ManU fan, it saddens my heart seeing the team playing that way, it's no longer a news that the team either draw or lose matches, fans of other team now call us draw soup..... It's not that Ralf isn't a good coach, but most of the players are lazy, and have become over familiar with each other, the coach and management, because i don't know why the captain band can't be taken from Maguire, and also put him on bench for many matches so that he can learn. Now we are in 7th position with 51 points, only God knows if could still enter the top 4.

$ 0.04

Let's just forget top 4. It's gone. We should be lucky to be in Conference League when the season ends. Lack of effort would always produce laziness and that's what we are seeing with the players.

Familiarity is the killer of growth let me put it that way, when familiarity supersede the whole thing, be it in business or anywhere the whole thing becomes useless because there's no good thing that too much familiarity would bring out than lack of obedience, when there's too much of familiarity no rules and regulations will be observe things will be done after all we know him and he knows us, just like I have said that's what is killing the Manchester United football team and that's likely to our daily lives, we keep on learning lessons from football everyday, and it's not just in Manchester United club only the same mistakes is also happening in some other clubs.

$ 0.04

Yes, mistakes would always happen but we have to be willing to learn and move on. Life is in phases too and we have to build on character to handle each phase.

Anytime anyone talks about Manchester United they must also mention Harry Maguire, and I just think is right to say the players have familiarised themselves that they no longer take things seriously again when they are on the pitch and that affects their performance badly and the pressure that Mr Ten is having to come in as the new coach I just pray and keep my fingers crossed that he does work as a coach and not as what they rest have being doing there throughout the season and we just hope and expect life gives us something good at the long run

$ 0.03

If he won't send away some players, the new coach would face the same problem. Same with life, we always have to try different approaches even when it hurts.
