On a sunny day, the girls were all lying in their beds, thinking about it. It was Valentine's day soon, and each of them had a crush that they wanted to confess to.

Grace was thinking about how she would tell her childhood friend, Edward. She had always been secretly in love with him, but she didn't know how he felt about her.

Hope was thinking about how she would tell her best friend, Jonah. She had known him since they were little kids, and she knew that he liked her too. But she was worried that he might not want to be just friends anymore.

Mirai was thinking about how she would tell her new classmate, Takumi. She had just transferred into their school and wanted to make a good first impression.

She rehearsed what she would say in her head but couldn't find the right words. It was hard enough to talk to people she didn't know, let alone someone she had a crush on.

They were so excited and nervous about what they were going to do.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm so scared," said Grace. "What if he doesn't like me back?"

"Don't worry, Grace," said Hope. "Edward will love you for sure."

Mirai nodded in agreement. "Yes, you have nothing to stress about. Just be yourself, and it will work out perfectly, and if it doesn't work out, you have us."

The girls hugged each other, feeling a bit better. Then they got to work on their plans.

Grace had been thinking of what to give Edward, and she finally decided to bake some cookies. After their hug, she felt better, and she was excited to see how they turned out.

It was the first time she had baked something, but she was determined to make her cookies the best. All she wanted to do was dye the cookies with her feelings; she wanted her feelings to reach Edward through her cookies.

The dough was soft in her hands, and she took a deep breath before dipping her fingers into the food dye. The red was for love, the blue for sadness, and the green for happiness.

She mixed them all until they were a swirl of color, then she started to shape the dough into small cookies.

She put them on a baking sheet and placed them in the oven, praying that Edward would be able to feel her emotions through the cookies. She waited eagerly as they baked, watching as the colors changed from bright to muted tones.

She carefully took them out of the oven and placed them on a plate when they were done. She sat down at her kitchen table and ate one of the cookies; she immediately threw it up and went to wash her mouth so the taste would go; she couldn't believe how bad it tasted.

"What the hell is this? If I gave him this, I should forget valentines day because I would be in jail for killing him" - Grace.

They laughed when she said that and told her to give up because she had never baked before and couldn't learn as time was short. Valentine's day was only five days away, and she had to learn fast.

Grace was determined to make the perfect batch of cookies for Edward. She tried a few times, but they always turned out terrible.

No matter how many times she tried, her cookies came out as failures. Each batch was worse than the last. Grace felt so discouraged and frustrated. She didn't know how to give Edward cookies that tasted this bad.

Grace kept baking until midnight; she slept on the floor covered in flour and cookies.

The next day, Grace, Hope, and Mirai leave for school. After classes, they decided to meet up on the rooftop to discuss their valentine's day plans; Grace lamented her bad cookies while the other two tried to cheer her up.

Mirai had decided on what she would get for Takumi, she wanted to give him something close to her heart, but she didn't know what it would be.

Hope looked at her and asked her about the things she loved.

Mirai thought for a moment and then named off everything she loved.

"I love the way the sun sets in the sky; I love spending time with my friends and family; I love learning new things."

After naming a few more things, Mirai had an idea. "I think... I want to give Takumi my heart." She said with a smile.

Grace and Hope both smiled at her, happy for their friend. They knew that Takumi would be lucky to have her.

Hope hadn't thought about what she would give Jonah, and out of the three of them, she had no idea where to start.

She paced around the rooftop, trying to find the perfect gift. It had to be something unique, something that showed how much she loved him.

As Hope was deep in thought, she heard Grace shouting.

"Why is "Love" so hard Ahhhhhhhh" - Grace

Mirai looks at Grace, shocked, but she starts laughing at her friend, who seems to have lost her mind.

As the girls laughed, Mirai looked over at Grace and noticed the genuine confusion in her eyes. It was true that love could be hard, but it was also one of the most beautiful things in the world.

"I don't know why it's so hard," said Mirai. "But I think it would be worth it in the end."

Grace looked at her friend in disbelief. It was the first time Mirai seemed so happy and fulfilled; she smiled a little and hugged her friends because she knew they would be there for her no matter what happened.

"No matter what happens, I am happy to have both of you as my friends" - Grace.

"Ohh, Grace said something cool too; it seems like this "Love" stuff has affected your brains, haha" - Hope.

"Hope you keep laughing but have you thought about what you would get, Jonah? I hope you will not give him something random; that would suck. - Grace.

"What do you mean by that? Of course, I know what I would give him, but I won't tell both of you because I know you would make fun of me." - Hope.

Ohh, you think we don't know how to find out? Mirai, hold her down. Let us tickle her until she spills the beans! - Grace

The girls chased each other around the rooftop until they had to get back to their classes.

Time until Valentine's day: 5 Days

"This was Valentine's Day they would never forget."

Confessing your feelings alone is beautiful if you think about it! We aren't in control of the other person's emotions, but being brave enough to tell someone how you feel about them is wholesome, don't you think!

We yeah, but the pain after the confession how about it 🤧. They might also regret it later? Some, because they were hurt too much they can do things that everyone thought they are not capable of doing. Just because of love? Ahh, I don't knkw what I'm really saying so nevermind 🙈😆
