So even before the danger, we already feel that we are in trouble. The kind that makes you want to leave, or else you're going somewhere. But, before you can leave, something unexpected happens. Or maybe, before you left, you were suddenly delayed or late because of some things you were asked to do.
So there are times when you feel uneasy, when you want to leave but something stops you. You don't know why you feel like you're being held back, or maybe you don't know why you feel like something doesn't want to let you go. I know we all experience this kind of thing, the kind where you're sure you're really going somewhere but you don't know why you don't want to leave or maybe there's something stopping you. The kind where you want to leave but you don't understand why you seem to be retreating, so in the end you decide not to leave.
It's like with people we meet, there's that part of us that even if we've just met or talked to, you'll feel a very awkward feeling. You might wonder why you feel that way, right? We are all like that.
Just like you were about to leave and go somewhere, for some unknown reason the person you were riding with suddenly had a problem with his engine and it took a few hours to fix it. And for an unknown reason, there is something insisting on you not to continue and you don't know why. So, you thought of going home. After a few hours, you suddenly receive a text saying that the hotel where you were supposed to stay has burned down. right? Suddenly everything will be clear to you why you feel that way even though you really wanted to continue on your way at that time.
Around this evening, I have On the job training and I still live in the city. At this time, we were sent home early, now what happened is of course no one is taking me home because the place where I live is pretty empty so I really need to take a jeep. It's late, it's 11pm so there's no jeep and I don't have a jeep to ride so I have no choice but to take a tricycle. I'm a friendly person, so whichever tricycle I'm riding gets close to me because I'm noisy. Now, when I was outside and waiting for the tricycle, I suddenly felt very uneasy. You know when you suddenly don't feel comfortable?, you suddenly want to go back inside and never go home. You feel that, right?
I thought, I'll just let it go and continue because I won't gain anything if I stay on the site and do nothing. So I just walked, it was quite a long walk. It's one kilometer away because the jeep parking lot is at the cemetery, and it's already night so I have no other choice but that's it.
While I was walking, a tricycle stopped next to me. I was asked if I would ride, this is where I really felt very uneasy. I don't know why I suddenly felt fear or nervousness, because usually I have never experienced sudden nervousness once someone is approaching me. Because I was so nervous, I suddenly grabbed the hand of the male agent I saw walking that I pretended to know.
The agent was surprised at what I did, but I was shaking at that time because I was really not okay. He must have noticed so he spoke, "Are you going to work? You didn't come in for a few days." Then I responded as if I knew him but my voice was shaking a little because I was nervous.
After a while he looked at the tricycle driver and asked what he needed, the driver said nothing and just sped away. When the tricycle left, I suddenly sat down, and the man asked what it was. I explained everything to him including how I felt very uneasy. So what he did, he accompanied me to get to the boarding house even though he was super late.
The next day, while I was scrolling through Facebook, I saw in the post of RMN ILOILO that they caught a tricycle driver who raped an agent that night as well. When I saw the suspect's face, it suddenly dawned on me that the reason why I felt like that last night was because something bad was going to happen.
That's why it's so important that we sometimes listen to what our guts say, because we never know when a danger will appear that could harm us.
Good evening everyone!
