Currently trying to finish up my blue tiger princess. But since it's dog walk time, this will have to wait for a while. I just realized I haven't been around much again 😅 oh well, this is me getting back to taking care of papers. The holidays are gone and I only have a few days of Freedom left. I'm still waiting for the weekends so we can install the grid wall but for the meantime, look at my plants OwO they look happy and blooming! My red chili is continuously blooming and my tomato is growing quite nicely

I usually appreciate plants when I take walks out now and this plant really fascinates me recently. It's called a ternate plant here but it's called butterfly pea internationally. Most of the time it makes good tea but I've been thinking of turning my side of the house into a ternate wall because plants do provide good heat insulation and soundproofing so why not prepare for the summer heat?

I like the fact that my bish sends me turtle updates every now and then ☺️ so I still get to see the turtle growing. Right now we're fascinating by the fact that turtles also shed skin. She uses a mild brush to help it get rid of the shedding skin since it's apparently irritating to the turtle too

My supervisor pointing out the huge contrast and appeal when I'm in my outside clothes and in my work clothes (minus the lab gown) He says when I'm in my outside clothes, I just finished partying while when I'm in work clothes, I look so emo and/or someone ready to sleep because of how comfy I look 🤣🤣🤣 I only wear dresses because I lack pants ;;-;;

My mom is adding more plants to my herb garden OwO I have no idea what she's planting but I sure hope it's edible. She has this thing for decorative plants while I only want to plant herbs and fruit bearing ones

Things that stress me out in the morning: the constant hunt for my lab gown 🤣🤣🤣 Because after the shifts, all the lab gowns get taken to the sanitation office and they get steamed and UV dried and they're returned at random. So I always have to look through each of these to find my lab gown

Spent the whole day in the acid room and the oven again ;;-;; gosh the 30 samples tired me out. I can't even imagine the 40 samples I have to do tomorrow- I feel like such a special case to be skipping the basic sample training, I went straight to the ore and hazardous samples 🤣🤣🤣

I woke up to my best friend spamming me with turtle pics 🤣🤣🤣 She was telling me how big pong is (the turtle) and I agree, when we got him, he was only 3 inches long. Now I think he's gotten to 5? And he'll keep growing until he's a foot long. We asked Google about this and it says that he grows fast because he's very healthy

I'm loving how wholesome my team is in the lab 🤣 I don't really have black socks and I only have character socks and I've been wearing them to work for the past 2 weeks. Now it's kind of a thing to ask me which socks I'm wearing today because it's the only cute they see in the lab since I started work 🤣🤣🤣 so now I'm this close to adding more cute socks to my collection 😅 I feel like half my salary is already gone just with clothes and bills omg

I haven't been giving my plants as much time as I used to because I usually just water them in a hurry now (in the morning) and when I water them at night, I barely see them. But it's nice to see that my peppers are still blooming nicely. Even the ones I planted in December are starting to have the small white flowers now. I'm proud UwU

Continuing my 60 day art challenge. I've done day 19 (A post apocalyptic abandoned farm), day 20 (playground), day 21 (war hammer), day 22 (a cup of hot chocolate) Materials used: watercolor, fineliner and white gel pen Duration for the 4... 2 hours? The dogs found a small pup It's rare for them to encounter pups so they were pretty fascinated with it. They even kept following it all the way home. Luckily the mama dog wasn't that far off so we knew it will go home with its mama

Part of my many duties as a newbie chemist in this lab is monitoring and verifying environments and the instruments we use. It kind of helps with building up a morning routine. First thing we do when we enter the lab is to turn on everything we'll use for the day. That includes ovens, AC, dehumidifiers and a few other instruments. After that, we can eat breakfast then after breakfast, we have to calibrate the instruments to check if they will still give proper results

This is everything I had to use and I had to continue for the day. In the tray, I have my sulfur recrystallization set up. That one is for fertilizer. The white cups beside the tray are actually filter crucibles. That's already in the oven, preheating. Then test tubes for the final container of my ores. Then those small metal cups that look like teacups are actually zirconium crucibles. That's for my ore samples It's not even break yet but gosh I'm tired

Sketching while on break 😅 I'm so close to putting art materials in my locker just so I have something to do during lunch. Apparently napping during breaks isn't as acceptable here compared to the other labs I've been to so I gotta find ways to keep me busy until break is over :"( I should buy one of rose's watercolor pans and put it in my locker. Hmmm maybe on pay day 😢😢😢 til then, I'll settle for sketching

In my attempts to befriend Klaus 😅 A new cat popped up after puff started feeling more at home. This little lady is named Klaus ( idk who my sister based the name off this time) This one is kind of loosening up and she's even sleeping on puff's old spot (puff sleeps on the table now 😅). I'm hoping she'll be more open to getting head pats soon

I was pretty sure I've been losing weight again but I wasn't sure how many calories I burn off so my sister suggested I get a step counter/pedometer. This will help me track my progress UwU I should have downloaded this when work started but oh well. I'll try to weigh myself when I get the chance to
