Money is an integral part of human life to survive. It serves as a protection and can be very useful. Money can be beneficial and adds a measure of security.
But what will happen if you didn't use the money wisely? What will happen if you focus your life on making money? Can it really make us happy?
Money is not the most important thing in life. It's true that we need it to survive but we don't need to love the money. We must be contented with the present things, such as food, clothing, and shelter. We should keep money in its place and not pursue wealth. Why?
Greedy people often abandon good principles. In their effort to get what they desire, they might be tempted to commit crimes, such as blackmail, extortion, fraud, kidnapping, or murder.
Or even if the love of money does not lead to bad behavior, it can still have other negative consequences such as broken families and poor health from overwork.
So money in itself is not wrong. But people who love money—who make it their main focus in life—bring problems on themselves.
So instead of pursuing wealth at all costs, "be content" with what we really need. And if we do not compromise moral for the sake of money, we will have self-respect. 🙏
In my days of Working i dropped a verse about Money "The love of Money is the Root Of all Evil"
