When does the sun rise?
February 27, 2022
*allow me to late-post this one bec. i didn't have a stable internet connection yesterday.
In one of the articles that I have read from here yesterday, I mentioned that I have not seen the sunrise for a long time now. It was just recently when I started waking up early but still the scenic sunrise is not visible to where I live. I haven’t noticed it until a fellow from here mentioned about watching the sunrise.
Most of us is fascinated with sunsets. We prefer to see the sun setting down. We love to share Facebook posts of sunsets to let our Facebook friends know how we love the view. Sunrise is often underrated and unappreciated in my point of view. Why is that? Maybe because a lot of people miss to wake up early. Most of us are not a morning- person for this reason, we miss to witness how the sun decides to slowly shine down on us. Also, there are some people who wakes up early but fails to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the sunrise. Most working people have their day planned out and they have not included slowing down as part of their process. Because of business we fail to see the wonderful miracle in the morning that is right before us.
Just yesterday, I saw a messenger story of a friend that shows electrical lines and the birds that are lining on it. Some of them are flying and are noisy but some of them are just hopping by the line, staying still. I find it beautiful and calming. I have seen it before but I haven’t took a photo of it. That is my problem, I’m not into taking photos, whenever they are nice things that needs to be documented, and I fail to take a photo of them. Yesterday, on my way home I stopped and took a photo of it.
There are more beautiful things that we fail to appreciate, savor and enjoy because we are always in a hurry. We are always busy. Let us not forget to live our life. Living is different from surviving. Living means that we are able to appreciate and enjoy life. What we are doing now is merely surviving. I get it and I understand that we all have to work hard every day to achieve our dreams but let us learn how to balance life because we don’t know when our lives are due. It would be futile to live a wealthy lifestyle- one that is much invested with work and fail to see the real beauty there is that is right before us- one which is free.
This photo is dated years ago when I was still in college. We were practicing for graduation during these days and we were on our way home when my classmates saw this and took a photo of this. I joined the group and trend and then took mine too.
Found one sun rise photo which is taken from the farm we used to visit from years ago. It is not taken successfully well but at least I have one photo of sun rise.
How about you? How many sunrise photos do you have?
