Day 21: Write about Love

Let me start by saying that Love makes the world go round. Does love make the world go round?

Love moves in mysterious ways according to the song of Nina. It is true for me as we often ran out of reasons why we love someone. But is that how it's supposed to work? We don't have to have lists of reasons why we love someone. We just love them. Period. No whys. No, how's.

Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world. Isn't it wonderful how a mom lovingly caresses her newborn after her painful delivery? I bet that is the most painful experience in a woman's life yet moms still smile and stare at the newborn babies like it never caused them pain. That is unconditional love.

Love fuels us. The love of our parents fuels them to work hard and build big dreams for us. Some parents may start from scratch but one thing is for sure. Every parent looks after the welfare of their children. Their love for us fuels them to work extra hours, endure being away, and sacrifice personal wants and gains just so we can have all our needs provided. Some of them even have their dreams halted as they are putting us at the top of their priorities.

Love is essential. No matter how loved we are by our parents and siblings, we still need the love of our partners. Theirs is a different kind of love that makes us secure and gives us butterflies in our stomachs at the same time. Theirs is the love that is romantic and adventurous. Imagine how inspired we are at school or work when we have them. That kind of special love is the foundation of our dreams of building a new family.

Love knows no bounds. There is a love that we shower on our pets. The kind of love that we give to life other than human beings. This love is so big that it covers a large scope.

Love makes wise men go crazy. Indeed love is mysterious. Wise people seem to lose their genius when it comes to love. They love their all. And there is no perfect instruction to follow for love.

And then there is the greatest Love. There is no greater love than God's. Remember how He sacrificed. How He gave His only begotten Son to save us. He could've let us be and run away. He could spare His son. But He chose to offer Him to save us. We who are sinners. That's great love. He restored and redeemed us. He saved us for free. Salvation is Free. It is available. You just have to seek Him, repent, recognize Him as your saviour and Lord and the Coming King and of course, turn from your wicked ways.

That's love for me. It is a wonderful feeling that we can feel and let others feel. And we are blessed to have the opportunity to love and be loved.
