The Best Summer Youth Camp with the theme "Refill".
It's been 2 years of waiting and I can say the wait is worth. It was June 13-15 2022 it was our 8th South Central Mindanao District (SCMD) Foursquare Youth Camp, with the theme "Refill". In Day 1, campers has been arrived in the morning and as expected their would be 5 divisions will be joined in this Youth Camp. Narra Division which is the division where I belong, the Mahogany Division, Sycamore Division, Cassia Division and the new added division which is the Cassia Division. To summarized all the campers and delegates, there are 858 registered campers not included the staff and the Pastors who facilitate in this event.
Usually, we celebrate Summer Youth Camp every year but because of pandemic our camp has been moved. Indeed, all of the youth who joined in the Youth Camp are so thirst to the word of God and most especially to the Holy Spirit. In the afternoon of June 13, which is the first day we officially opened the camp. The first contest was the Banner Racing in each Division and after will be the Ball Games scheduled in 1 to 5PM. And the night event will consist of Public Service, to be followed by the Tambourine Dance Contest and Trio Song Contest. Each division perform a wonderful and beautiful performance. I can say that each division really did their best to win the contest but only one will be chosen as Champion, but in the eyes of the Lord they are all the same.
Day 2, it was started with devotional which was scheduled 4,30 AM in the morning and to be followed with zumba and exercise. The Public service will start in 7AM in the morning and end in 11AM in the noon time. I am so blessed with word of God which remind me that don't be rush in love. Pastor Jo Julapong's preach really a remind from God. He said, don't allow yourself to have a girlfriend or boyfriend if you are not yet graduated in college. Always think to your parents that you need to help them first before yourself. All of your dreams and goals in life will be followed by success if you prioritize first GOD. I just realized that having a gf or bf while studying will only bring destruction and unfocus. Indeed, in my generations right now many youn teens ha been involved with teenage pregnancy because they allow people to destroy their life, most of the young people right now has been involved in pre marital sex. The reason because they are in that situation because they don't allow God to move in their life. Even Christians is not exempted on this problems because their are christians also who failed because they are not faithful and honest in the eyes of the Lord. My message to those young teens and teenagers who are reading this article, Allow God to move in your life and always prioritize HIM if you want to be successful in your life.
