Current Education System in the Philippines: Teachers Need to be Equip and Trained.

During the SMNI interview, one of the problems that address by the Panelist of the said Debate is the problem of the Education System in the Philippines that teachers are lack on training and knowledge in terms of teaching.

Do not invest in an air-conditioned room or classroom, etc. cause these things can happen under the papaya tree. But if the teacher is "bob*", no learnings can happen. So, that means if you have limited number of pesos, put in the training of teachers.

Not just MAXIMIZING our so-called "limited funds" for the training of our teachers, I think MINIMIZING their workloads is also a good investment if we want to elevate the quality of education in our country.

Teachers' first duty is to teach - not to focus more on documentation, accomplishing forms etc. Yes, these are necessary for the improvement of education so it's better if the government will allocate more fund to hire additional non-teaching personnel to do it or evaluate if all of those documents are essential.

By doing that, teachers can render more attention in teaching, professional development and assessing the needs of the learners without sacrificing their mental and physical health.

Maybe some teachers na nasabihang "bob*" ay hindi naman talaga. Maybe they are just "pagod" drained because of the excessive paperworks sa sistemang ginagalawan nila.

Indeed, the Education System in the Philippines are so kulelat (left behind), because many teachers are not doing there job well because of the lack of trainings that they need to have. I hope that in this issue will be resolved by BBM if God permits he would be the next president. This issue of Educational System in the Philippines has been a problem long time ago until now haven't resolve. I am not pointing out that all teachers are lack, but as what I have seen only few teachers had enough knowledge in teaching.

I also agree, as what Proof. Carlos said that the education system in the Philippines should not be divided because division is not the solution to solve the problem in the Educational System. The Deped, Ched and Senior Highschool should be immerge into one department for it to address the issue of the Education System in the Philippines from Elementary to College. Because there are students that is not deserving to promote or to be graduate in a certain level because even simple english didn't know how.

Most especially, the modality of learning is Online and Module. There are many students (most elementary students) that is not learning because their parents or kuya/ate's are the one will answer their module because pupils are not interested to listen and learn anymore because of many distractions in their house. Most elementary students are the suffered in this pandemic in studying, most of the students are independent to answer their modules because their parents are working and no one will guide them to teach by themselves. Blessed are those students that their parents is on hand in terms of the education of their children.

Ending Thoughts

I hope that this issue will be address and give solution whoever the next president will be. Knowing that education is the one will equip for the children and our children will be the future of our nations. They are the one needs to be Equip by the teachers. As what Gat. Jose Rizal said "Ang Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan".

I hope that our government will allocate money for the trainings our teachers, so that they are capable to equip our future generations also.
