Random Questions for Taken
I have missed joining some of the challenges here like the this or that challenge and many more, I am already late but this post by @Eybyoung prompted me to make this article. Here's the link to her article in case you want to check it out: Random Questions For Taken https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/random-questions-for-taken-750f27f2 First, I find the questions entertaining and I know that I can make articles from them. Second, it's all about those who are already taken, married or not yet, these are all for us. So, I don't want to make a long intro. Let's dive into the questions that I have selected:
This question brings back a lot of memories of when my husband and I were still in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. We got into our relationship when we were in our senior year in college. Although we were already past the 18-year-old mark, I felt like we were still very childish. Looking back, every specific quarrel and argument that we had, they were caused by unimportant things, just small matters which can be easily resolved but then, we would tend to make it a huge one. I for one had this tendency of making a huge deal about the issue. So, whenever we have these fights, I would often tell my husband, boyfriend at that time that I wanted to be alone, I would tell him to go away but then he would stay. Of course, as a woman, I would say things that I don't really mean. Even if would say go away or leave me, it melts my heart when he stays.
My husband would immediately know my answer to this. He knows me well that he will immediately say we must go to a place that is cold because I love wearing sweaters but I can't wear them in the city or at the beach of course. So, for this question, we would surely be in the mountains. If we are in Cebu, we'd be heading to Balamban a hundred percent. But I would prefer to go to Baguio or anywhere up north, perhaps in a place that we have not yet visited so I can also blog about it and share the experience here.
As a couple who had been together for 13 years, a special day means our wedding anniversary and we are not into dinner dates or going to restaurants. We would prefer traveling. But this pandemic had been so hard on us travelers that it is a great factor. But if there's no pandemic already, then it is given that month before we have already planned a trip outside of the island. Perhaps, we'd go to Siargao or Camiguin or even our dream domestic destination - Batanes. If we are going to Batanes, then it will not just be a day or two, we'd surely be spending a whole week or two weeks there, capture every single sunrise and sunset, and this time, we have our baby with us, he must be big enough to appreciate nature.
Honestly, I don't remember even a single word at all. But since we were already friends since freshmen years, our conversations back then were all about our family, our experiences back when we were still young and all about learning each other's lives.
That best relationship advice came from a book - 5 love languages and this is very effective. Individually, we know we have different love languages, and realizing the language helped me in our relationship. My husband's love languages are words of affirmation and quality time so I would always compliment him, appreciate his efforts, and would spend time with him. On the other hand, my love languages are acts of service and quality time. It's great that we have similarities. I love it when my husband serves me, does me favor and I feel very special when he surprises me, not too much with material things though because we both know where we should spend our money but with the simple things like he had already cleaned our room and such.
Yes, I am still friends with my first boyfriend from high school, we are even neighbors and his wife was once a colleague of mine and we are also friends. Our relationship was one that I consider as my first love but we consider that as part of our past. With that, we are still friends, civil, and neighbors.
Cheating of course! But let me tell you that my husband had made a mistake once. We were still dating at that time, I don't know why but I had a gut feeling of him doing something fishy so I made my own investigations and found out that my boyfriend had a "friendly date" with his ex. He was with his best friend (his ex-best friend now) and I figured it out immediately. Of course, I had confronted him about it, I said my goodbyes but he was sorry and I can see he was indeed sorry so I accepted him back and from that time on, I never had that gut feeling again, he never had given me a reason to feel it and so I know he won't do it again, else, I will for sure know.
For sure go out for a date and my husband knows that. He knows that I would love to be out of the house, given that there's no restriction. We already had enough staying indoors because of the pandemic and so it is just a breath of fresh air to be out. That's it. Thanks for reading guys! Maybe if I got married, I prefer traveling din po than eating in a fancies restaurant. And yeah, cheating is a deal-breaker of a relationship. I was once cheated with my boyfriend(ex now). He is having a conversation with another girl and deleted their convo. So what was that for? So I said let's break up then he explained and he asks for a chance and I gave it to him. Everyone deserves a second chance, I guess. Hihi.
Yep second chance then if they'll do it again, I guess its a good bye na...
