Beautiful Infinity Pools and Nooks at East Coast White Sand Resort, Anda Bohol
Clumps of thick cotton candy-like clouds were the backdrop of the Anda mountains, the contrast of the blue skies and the green lush of the hills made the image taken from the DJI Spark extra nice but what's the ultimate focus in here isn't the skies nor the clouds but the resort right there in the middle of the image. This is East Coast White Sand Resort located in Candabong, Anda, Bohol, Philippines, now called Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa.
Positioned right on a cliff, the breathtaking view of the ocean, the horizons, and the clear turquoise beach will melt your heart! Its three pools all in its infinity design will make you want to jump into the water, and take a snap on its edges as it is surely Instagram-worthy.
There were multiple staircases at any spot of the resort, it is a perfect spot for photoshoots and their lanai which is facing the beach has an unlimited number of ways to use it, can be a spot for a cliff wedding, sunbathing, or just simply relaxing on a hammock at its nook.
In fact, there are several nooks at the resort, and if checked-in or just a day tripper, one will surely secure space to sit and relax, perhaps with a book at hand while watching the sunrise or sunset.
A new addition to it is their massage hut. A real treat for those who want much-needed relaxation. As the waves break into the cliff rocks and white sand beach so as the sea breeze blows, sleepiness will pull those eyelids! Oh, I can imagine that familiar sound now!
Speaking about the photoshoot, the Beltran family had their portraits taken and the family group pictures too during one of the visits.
Things to note when visiting East Coast White Sand Resort:
They allow day usage, the entrance fee is Php 500 with Php 300 as consumable.
WIFI can be spotty, they said it is only available at the reception but that was not working every visit.
Beach has a short shore, it is mostly high tide in the morning so expect to be able to swim there in the afternoon, otherwise, cliff jumping is also allowed and possible if the waters aren't rough.
The resort is far from the highway, be attentive to the tarpaulins displayed on the roadsides, they'll show you the road towards the resort.
Locals are very helpful, so if you get lost or are not confident with the exact location, don't be shy to ask.
No nearby store, make sure to bring extra stuff like snacks and personal needs.
Food served at the in-house restaurant is good but is also seasonal, if it's the rainy season, just expect that they won't serve seafood.
For day trippers, there's no locker available. You got to find a spot to secure your things.
Only one comfort room is available at the restaurant, so day-trippers might have a little discomfort when changing clothes.
There's a cave inside the resort, you might want to check it out!
