Budget Needed for a Wedding

One of the things a couple consider for having a wedding is the budget needed. We see celebrities spending millions for their wedding, while some also say that they just spend a few thousands for the celebration. Well, the budget depends on the couple's preference in the details of the wedding. So let me share to you some of the details for the wedding that I consider that influences the budget to be prepared.

• Wedding dress and attires. There are couples who would like to have their gowns / suits for keeps. There are also those who just rent. Renting is more affordable than having the gown made for you.

  

  

• Ring and Jewelries. Wedding ring is important in a wedding. But the couple has a choice on what kind of ring to buy.

• Number of people you would like to invite. It is a tradition for us Filipinos that when there are weddings, food will be served for the visitors. The number of people would really be considered in the budget for the food.

• Food preparation. Another one how the food will be served. Will you go for catering? or do you have people who will be preparing the foods to be served.

• Wedding Decoration and Flowers. The wedding decoration as well as flowers are also to be counted. What flowers do you want, fresh, plastic, dried and even the variety.

  

  

• Videographers and Camera Man. Most of the weddings will also hire videographers and photographers to cover the wedding day. The rates are different for a videographer and photographer.

• Cakes and giveaways . Another one is the kind of cake and giveaways that you would like to have. The flavor and design for the cakes is a factor. For the giveaways, the materials used for making them.

• Venue of the Wedding. Another one is the venue, will it be in a restaurant, conference halls, beach? These are also to be decided.

• Payments for the processing of documents . Of course not to forget the payments for document processing, like getting CENOMAR, submission of documents for application.

Those listed are the basic things that I consider that will affect the budget. But one thing is very important. The budget really depends on how simple or luxurious you want your wedding to be. But it should be put to note that in weddings amount to be spent should be within the budget and not left the couple in debt. After all, the most important persons are the couple who would like to tie the knot in front of God and people.
